They rather charge you the fees then to actually look out for your kids I have pointed out every concern about my kids and it went unchecked I don't know how doctors run but my son was cocktailed with vaccines without explaining that it's going to be a cocktail shot with 4 to -5 different ones just to catch up cause he was behind on his vaccines I argued and pushed to spread them out So take your business elsewhere especially if you are low income this office doesn't care only pushing vaccines and fees read more

This office always has a super long wait. If my appointment is at 11am i won't get into a room until 12 and won't be seen until 12:30. And when theres a full waiting room, they rush each appointment, your child won't be carefully evaluated nor will they get the true care they need. One time i was told i needed to schedule my daughter's 6 month check up and when i came the day they scheduled me they told me i couldn't be seen because it was too early and i needed to wait until a certain date to come in when they were the one's that scheduled me in the first place. Very disorganized receptionists. The only reason why i still come back here is because of dr.connie but she's rarely in. I went in today because my son had a fever I called in the morning lines were busy like always, finally they answered and said to come in at 10:20 I was late 10 min. I get there and I sign in and than the girl called me and said I had to pay a fee, I said what for what, she said you were a no show on February 7 so you have to pay 30 dollars. I told her I wasn't gna pay because I called and the call didn't go through that they didn't answer me, I explained how I was not gna sit there and call and wait for them to answer. So I was upset and said I am going to change to a different doctor. She stood quiet and I walked out and left. I called and spoke to her and you guys are really going to do this and loose a patient over 30 dollars and try to to tell her that I called and she said I kept switching stories pretty much calling me a liar, I said check your calls. So than she said I wasn't going to run after you which I didn't want her to but like I said we could have worked something out. She said I talked over her all the time, I asked for the provider to call me and she said they don't do over the phone calls but they do give results over the phone. It's so ridiculous, it's so sad how the provider didn't even call me to see what happened or see if we can talk about the situation so that showed me how I did the right thing and switch to a different provider for my son. they always take more than an hour to see you we patients have to wait more than an hour as well. For the front desk M.A's take be more nicer and understanding dont act like you owe the place and as for the providers shame on you for not bothering to call back to see what happened, shows how you dont care about loosing a patient, i am sure i wont be the first or last patient you loose not that yall care. Look at how many times it took me to call today and they want to tell me I didn't call 2-7-24 and want me to pay 30 dollars. I love this office they are very reliable very caring and kind and they have a lot of patience for my daughter.

So it's been 2 years since I've been taking my daughter to see Dr. Zafaranchi and/or Dr. Connie and I'm very happy with the outcome. Both Dr's are great, knowledgeable, trustworthy, outgoing, and have always been able to see my daughter when I've called as soon as they open. If they're booked they try to schedule for the the next day and if it can't wait then they suggest on an urgent care. Of course, it's waaayyy better seeing them then going to an urgent care but there are days that they do get booked and depending on how serious the issue may be with your child then they try to see him/her that day. I'm so grateful to the staff and Dr's here. They're all friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them. I know it's very hard to find a Dr that you feel comfortable with and I'm thankful to them for making my daughter and I feel comfortable and for having patience when it comes to the moment of giving her vaccines. read more

Everyone here is so lost & confused. They seem like they either 1.) do not care to provide quality healthcare or 2.) don't know how. I scheduled a concern-specific appt. and Dr. Zafaranchi rushed in, did a very quick head to toe and walked out, saying "someone will be back with his vaccine" . 25 mins later I peek my head out and ask if someone will be in to let me go. The MA asked what I was waiting for, I said "the vaccine..." to which she replied "oh. let me check." i said "yeah no, i'm going to get it at his 2 mo. well-baby. This was supposed to be for his acid reflux. She didn't let me ask questions." When i DID return for vaccines, I got no VIS & when I asked they said "Oh. They'll give it to you next time." Well, I switched to Kaiser & called to ask for the VIS, which was not filled out correctly, leaving Kaiser to have to call & explain to one of the MAs the difference between different vaccines. Honestly, I wouldn't ever go back, even if they offered to never charge me again. Not to mention, they owe me nothing in terms of friendliness, but there should be some type of professional demeanor. read more

Went there with my new born. Its cute environment but its very overwhelming. Way too many people in there. When they give you a time its not a scheduled appointment, you go in at the scheduled time and you still have to wait until its ur turn so expecr long waits. Super oldschool (still have cabinets and file folders around). They only take cash or cheque. On the other hand, Dr. Mojdeh is reslly nice. Me and my wife really like her. She definitely gives you time to ask questions. read more

Dr Zafaranchi was my daughter & son's pediatrician since birth. I trusted her judgement, care, and advice with both of my children when they were younger when she was at the Canoga Park office. If it was not for Dr Zafaranchi diagnosing my daughter at 3 days old having hip dysplasia who knows what would have occurred with her leg. She did have to wear a brace for her first six months of her life but no surgery thank goodness! And my son was a preemie and Dr Zafaranchi took good care of his special needs, prescribing his special formula that I had delivered to our home and thankfully was covered under our health insurance. She also referred him to a wonderful physical therapist due to his torticollis. Today both of my kids are young adults and have fond memories of their loving and caring doctor. It was sad to say goodbye once they were grown. I just want to thank her for the late phone calls checking in on my little ones when they had high fevers and good care given when my daughter had a febrile seizure due to a high fever, and when she had an earring stuck in her newly pierced ear she gently took it out with grace. Her soft spoken, knowledge and good health care was so appreciated. Yes, her office tends to be busy. We spent many times waiting to be seen, sometimes outside her office (due to myself not wanting to expose my kids with sickness), and yes that can be frustrating. But so worth the wait in my opinion. Her nurse staff was always very pleasant and loving as well. Her reception staff could have been more kind and patient but hopefully that improved once we moved elsewhere due to my kiddos growing up. All in all a great a great doctor! So if you are blessed to have this doctor as your kids physician you are truly blessed! read more

I used to loved coming here when my daughter was sick because the wait wasn't so long and also the Doctor would take time to talk to you and give you great advice to make your children feel better. A few months later, i started noticing that the wait is longer and the doctor is always in a rush because of the amount of appointments they have in a day. If your child wakes up sick, they don't have an appointment for you in the same day, they once offered me an app for 2 weeks later. Also if you need them to filled paper work from school, they ask you to leave it and come back on another day for it. Unfortunately i live 1hr away from this place and can't do that! The last thing that i found unacceptable is that when they call you to give you the results and you ask to talk to the doctor, they say the doctor is too busy to talk to you and if they can they will call you back. WTF? For all those reasons i decided to start looking for another doc. read more

I barely have time to write a review , but the mistake which happened to my child, I do not want to happen to any other kid. Please read my incident. If I could put a zero review, I would. My daughter had a sore throat with a great deal of infection and inflammation, about two months ago, and was seen by Dr Zafaranchi. In two minutes she spent examining my daughter, all she did was prescribe an antibiotic for her. She did not bother to do a test to determine what type of bacteria was present or if it was even bacteria or virus. My poor daughter took the antibiotic for ten days and she got worse. I went back to Dr Zafaranchi again and but this time she saw Dr Lee in her office, they put her on another round of antibiotics. My daughter took the prescribed prescription and got worse, in which her tonsils had lots of pus, and were swollen to the point they were touching each other, which prevented her from normal breathing. They prescribed her four times each with different types of antibiotics. Every time it was a stronger oral antibiotic and even got a shot. Eventually, I got consult with my cousin, who is a Dr, in Boston. He said she had mono and all the antibiotics Dr Mojdeh prescribed for her were not getting her better, but get her worse since it is a viral disease, not bacterial disease, and the virus is not treated by antibiotics. I went back to Dr Zafaranchi's office again and ask her please do the mono test. She simply stated, she does not have mono. She does not have signs and symptoms of mono, but if you want I can write to do blood test. I said yes, I want that please. The result came positive for the virus. They told me she had to be seen by ENT in children hospital. They gave me an appt in two months. I called Dr Zafaranchi to write a letter as it was an emergency, then my daughter got worse and lost so much weight. She missed school for a lot of days. We later went as a walk-in to the office for the Dr to see her throat and write the letter I needed for children's hospital. They refused to see my daughter since she was a walk-in and had no appt. They refused to write the letter as well. Last night, my daughter basically stopped breathing and I took her immediately to ENT, out of pocket, and told him the whole story. The ENT Dr said all medication Dr Zafaranchi gave my child got her worse and immediately suggested the need to remove her tonsils. I had no option to wait for medi-cal for an approval. We had to do tonsillectomy, which ended up costing me $6400 out of pocket to do. This series of unfortunate events would not have ever happened if this incompetent Dr had diagnosed and properly tended my child at her first visit. Please if your kids have serious issue this place is not the right place. read more

After 5 years with the same pediatrician l decided to move to dr Zafaranchi and what can I say I just waisted 5 year not getting here when my kid born. She is amazing so nice and thoughtful and do everything to give the best care for my kids. Dr. Zafaranchi's office is probably one of the most accommodating Doctor's offices I have ever been to. They have, on numerous occasions, seen my kids with same-day appointments or even as walk-ins. Although the wait may be long, the fact that they say yes and try to squeeze us in is seriously a reflection on how much Dr. Z and her staff care about my kids. Doctor is always is attentive to my concerns and answers my questions fully. Also, she has one of the most beautiful offices I have ever seen. This doctor does not care about her patients. Each time we have to literally hold her hostage before she storms out of the room to see the next patient. Always on a rush, never takes her time to answer questions, and it is obvious that she feels bothered when forced to talk to us for more than 5 minutes. My son had a skin problem so we took him here as she has been seeing my daughter since she was born. She prescribed a medicine that can't be found anywhere. We checked CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart, Walgreens and couldn't find the medication anywhere. Prescribed a cream that's worth $200+ and didn't offer any alternatives. My daughter received 4 vaccines, they didn't bother to note them on her vaccine card. Prescribed her a medication that when we went to the local CVS, we were told that it's not even made anymore. It is discontinued. We called the office and told them this and they just told us to get the "little remedies" which is an over the counter cough syrup. My daughter has a fever, runny nose, is sneezing, coughing, has watery eyes, and this doctor didn't even bother doing a flu test considering the many cases reported everywhere. Save yourself time and frustration and just go to an Urgent Care or change doctors. read more

The nurses, PA, and medical assistants are nice. The front desk staff, and the office manager especially is unprofessional, clearly over worked, rude, and not empathetic. They speak Spanish to eachother about you, while you are standing there, and after you request them to speak English. Takes weeks to get paperwork filled out for school enrollment, and day care. They do not take the time to listen to at all, and rush you in and out as fast as possible. They do not treat you with respect, privacy, or dignity. read more

Worst pediatrician! Parents beware! Dr. Zafaraunchy only cares about seeing as many patients as she can. She's in and out. Doesn't do a thorough exam - puts a stethoscope on their chest and done! Barely answers questions - most of the time I'm asking questions and she's heading for the door. This was my firstborns pediatrician for six months or so... He had two issues while seeing this Dr. - first was a poorly done circumcision that left excess skin. I asked the Dr. repeatedly what was wrong- first time she told me it's because my son was too chubby. Next time she said it was due to the acidity from the urine in his diaper. When I finally took my son to a real pediatrician she immediately identified the issue as a problem with the circumcision which would resolve itself as he gets older. Second issue while see this Dr. was my sons rash on his face. First time I took him in I asked if it had to do with his pacifier, no she said - just put Vaseline on it she said. Ok... but after a month it didn't resolve itself, so back we went. This time Zafaraunchy got mad at me, telling me that I can't just put vasaline on it without identifying the cause and that it's probably a pacifier rash! Well maybe if this Dr. spent more than two minutes with us during the appointments maybe she'd be able to give better care instructions for a clueless first time parent. Happy to say I've moved on to a real pediatrician who is the complete opposite of Zafaraunchy. If you're a parent and you haven't moved on too I suggest you do. Pediatricians should care for the kids and not just care about the money. These are little human beings they deserve to be treated better! WORST PEDIATRICIAN EVER! read more

At 1:15 p.m., the pharmacy has yet to receive a fax from them for a new Rx, even thought I was promised that they will take care of it before noon. Worst experience ever!
