I contacted Reshmi asking for a new cake, he/she refused, insisted it was the hotel's mistake and not their driver's, and that they'll send a driver to pick up the cake. I asked them not to send anyone, to just issue a refund and that the hotel will try to salvage the cake, given that the event was that same evening and I didn't have enough time to search for other options. Reshmi refused and said they'll not provide a refund unless the cake was collected and "in the same condition as in the photo". Their customer care is just non existent, it was like dealing with an angry child who just wanted to make sure you don't have any viable options for your event. Thankfully 'Cakestreet' rose to the occasion and we ended up with a tasty cake that had a much better theme design. My advice to Anges is to ensure you prioritise your customers over your ego. Zero customer care.
