Staff are friendly and tot up the bill in their heads, and there are discounts if you buy more than one of certain items. i.e. buy four jam doughnuts and you save yourself 35p.

The rye bread is also delicious from here and makes me feel a little nostalgic as we always used to get it from here when I was a child. You can get them to slice it for you, but I prefer to just get the loaf because then you can cut super thick slices :) There are a selection of cakes and pastries here too, they look yummy, although I'm usually focussed on the bagels. This is a lovely cake shop that not only sells some other cool stuff (jams, biscuits, pasta sauces…read moreetc) but also has a coffee shop at the back where you can get to eat all the yummy stuff you see in the window. This place is set along rochester high street, and is well worth a look in. I was pleasently surprised with the prices - it isn't as expensive as it looks. You can also grab some lunch there too as it sells sandwiches to go with all the nice unhealthy cakes. The staff are lovely and friendly. Just remember to order at the counter otherwise you may find yourself sitting there for a while!
