For a ski hill roughly an hour out of Montreal, this hill is wonderful! I got a season pass for skiing this winter and my experience has been great thus far. No matter the weather, you can count on Bromont to have snow on the slopes. They've got tons of snow blowers that pump out fake snow to start out the season and they typically get a nice amount of snow during the normal ski season. Overall impressed with how they're handling the covid situation. Also, for this hill being an hour out of Montreal, the size is great. Definitely double in size, if not slightly more than other hills up north that are equidistant. Can't wait to return to this mountain to ski, and hopefully climb in the summer! read more

Beautiful place to go skiing. For beginners, there is a small school hill which is free. This means you won't be able to take the lift. On the school hill there is a conveyer belt that you hop on and it takes you up. Be careful when getting in and off of it. Intermediate and advanced skiers were having the time of their lives zipping down the hills. Wonderful experience. We were there on Nuit Blanche and my only complaints are that the conveyer belt for the beginner hill closed at 11pm, when the event went all the way till 2am. There is also no food or water anywhere nearby. read more

I had a terrible experience. They confirmed by phone 2 days prior that they were open until 6pm on the day that I was flying in. Their website sold me lift tickets for 1-6pm. They then closed the mountain at 4pm, which apparently was according to their schedule. But I paid for tickets for 1-6pm. They have refused to refund any portion of my tickets, despite several polite requests both in person and online. I'm so disappointed in my first experience at Bromont, and will never return. If you're looking for great skiing I would suggest Saint-Sauveur or Mont Tremblant. If you're looking for great mountain biking, I would suggest the Quebec City area, specifically Sentier Du Moulin, Vallee Bras du Nord, and Mont Saint Anne. Skip Bromont, they're a joke. read more

Skiing was great but we were traveling from the U.S. during February vacation & our families' Toyota Highlander was stolen with the Tule rack & kids car seats ! We went to customer service & they said casually oh yes, we've had a bunch of car thefts, specifically 3 cars in 3 days! Why isn't the ski mountain warning tourists of this!! We were ready to make this a semi-annual trip because we loved everything leading up to this & than this happened. Now I'm sad to say I don't know if we'll ever come back. A shame . And why doesn't the mountain try to prevent this! Now we are trying to figure out how to get 10 people including young children, 2 dogs, 10 skiis & tons of luggage back to Massachusetts. This is the best ski hill within an hour of Montreal. I enjoy it far more than Saint Sauveur for a few reasons. First the height of the mountain makes it that your runs last a bit longer. 2. There is a good variety of intermediate and advanced runs and 3 there are multiple sides to the mountain which promotes a variety of runs. There are even snow parcs that skiers can share with snow boarders and go on jumps, rails and even high jumps (all at your own risk of course). 2020 season welcomed a new mountain top chalet taking the pressure off the small main chalet at the parking lot level. Buy multiple tickets at once (2 or more) and the price of your lift ticket comes down about 40%. read more

Good clean fun! Yes a water park/slide on Mt Bromont. A fun way to spend a hot and muggy Quebec summer day. The water is clean and no trash about. The changing area is also very clean and they have lockers too. Fun for the whole family! Another bonus is that with admission, they include a free Mt. Bike rental and helmet as they have a 4.5 Kilo bike path. I have not biked hte path but I hope to one day. Not far from VT I-91. About 45 minutes from the Derby Line border Crossing. 45 Minutes to-1 hr from Montreal. depending on traffic. Right off Auto route 10 West (ouest). You can see it from the auto route. I really like Bromont because it is such a beautiful mountain with over 90 ski lanes, There are so many combinations that are possible, I rarely took the same trail throughout my 8 hours of skiing there. I think that this mountain is not very beginner-friendly, but when I passed the beginner phase, I really enjoy the experience there because I got to try such different trails on different sides of the mountain and also on several different mountains. I'm used to places in Lake Tahoe to which night skiing is an afterthought. Not the case here. Not only is it nestled near a beautiful little ski town, but the fun doesn't have to stop at 3 PM. They keep two and half mountain faces open for skiing. And you are a mere hour drive from Montreal (not quite apres ski by definition...but why not). If you don't want to head up to Quebec City and beyond (Massif for example), it's a great spot. read more

Bromont is only an hour away from Montreal so it's great if you're looking to go skiing for the day. If you would prefer to spend the night though they also offer that. They are also one of the few mountains that offer night skiing as they stay open until 10. If you're coming for night skiing then you should come when they have a Nuit Blanche. They have 8 throughout the season on Saturdays and stay open until 2 am on these nights. There is a DJ there and the atmosphere is very energizing. The mountain has a vast selection of runs and given how they do night skiing they groom the trails pretty late in the day too so if you're skiing then you're not on slick patches of ice. I find that lineups for the lifts tend to move fast so you can get in a good day of skiing when you come. For newer skiiers this is a good place to attempt your first black diamond runs if you're feeling ready for it as they are quite manageable. There are also plenty of greens for you to practice on. The crowds are okay. I find that they aren't as bad during the day but come night time they can be worse especially if there is a Nuit Blanche. If the main lift is too crowded then your best bet is to ski other sides of the mountain and use the other less crowded lifts. There are plenty of good runs all over the place so you won't be missing out. The customer service is also very friendly here. On one visit I purchased the wrong ticket online and didn't realize it until I got there. They were really good though about remedying the situation and all I had to do was pay the difference between the new ticket and the one I had bought online. It was quick and easy. Like the overwhelming majority of Quebec ski resorts the cafeteria is underwhelming and overpriced. There is also a bar serving up food and once again it's okay but nothing to write home about. Save your moeey an bring your own food from home. It will be much more satisfying. read more

I don't know if it was a matter of right place at the right time but we really enjoyed our day here. Having started late setting off from montreal we needed a slope that won't be closed by the time we get there. Being an hour away and having night skiing made bromont perfect. There were hardly any queues and a good selection of runs for all levels. Our friend who has never been skiing made it down the mountain and wasn't crowded. Convenience 5/5, selection 5/5, price 3/5 and option to ski at night? Fabulous. Highly recommend. read more

I've snowboarded many places and on many terrains. I've never seen a ski resort go to such lengths to keep their trails groomed. They had at least 3 machines running all day and what seemed like multiple times on the trails. This kept the conditions of the runs from getting packed down and icy. The resort has several lifts and many trails to chose from, some shorter, some longer. But enough longer trails so that you don't feel like you have to live on the ski lift. We went during the Christmas break, so I'm assuming this was the reason there were so many people and the lines were long for both the ski lifts and the ski rentals. It took almost and hour to rent ski equipment. That's by far longer than I've ever waited. That was frustrating and there are no nearby stores to rent from to try and avoid the line. Ticket prices were very reasonable compared to other ski resorts. We found some online for around $60 for 2 people. They have some decent food options. Certainly nothing to write home about, but I think they had several offerings from salad to burgers. We originally were gonna go to Mont Treblant, but were advised to go to Bromont instead due to the price and amount of people. Apparently Treblant is very, very crowded and was double the price. Glad we received that advise. I think this resort has 50 or so trails. Not sure of the exact number, but we found it plenty to appease our ski appetite for an 8 hour day. read more

My first experience shredding in the Eastern Townships was OK. The mountain may be bigger than anything in Ontario, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's better. This place gets really busy at night since it's pretty much the only place to go in the area and it doesn't offer much terrain. I do not agree with the leash policy for snowboarders here or anywhere for that matter. I have seen many skis fall off skiers and come flying down the hill and not once have a seen a rider lose their snowboard. Bromont does offer good value for money though. You save a decent amount of money just by buying your tickets online or printing out coupons on their website. read more

Dishonest business, deceptive customer service We went to Ski Bromont at 8pm on Friday Dec 12 2014. We rent our equipment at the equipment shop and purchased night lift tickets for both of us. The total was about $150 CAD. The mountain was crowed at night. After getting familiar with our equipment, we waited in a long queue before getting to the lift station, but were denied to use their lift since we didn't have lift tickets attached to our jackets. We showed our receipts but were still denied. Then I realized that the cashier forgot to give us the actual tickets. We didn't explicitly ask for the tickets since they appeared on our receipt, and the cashier never told us that we need to attach the tickets to our jackets. When I came back to the cashier, she immediately recognized me, apologized for forgetting to give me the tickets. It was already 9:15pm (they close at 10pm), so I decided not to ski that night and asked for a refund. The cashier talked to her supervisor, and told me that she was unable to refund me. But instead, she promised to issue me a gift certificate for each of us, which can be used to pay for a 4-hour equipment rental and day-time lift ticket, which is of greater value than the night tickets. We accepted the gift certificates and decided to come back the next morning. However, when we came back the following morning, that cashier was not working and other cashiers refused to honor the gift certificates. We described the situation last night, but the cashier insisted that we only paid for the night tickets so the gift certificates were not effective at day time. They refused to contact the cashier last night, and refused to issue a refund for the charge last night. I should never have driven two hours from Montreal to try skiing at Ski Bromont. It was my first time in Canada, and the experience was very disappointing. I am disputing my credit card for this fraud charge. read more
