In March of 2026, I placed an order with the Bronx Native Shop for various merchandise. The last of these items was finally delivered on Tuesday, March 24. On Monday, March 30, after trying on some of the apparel, I emailed the company to inform them that 2 items were not true to size and would need to be returned or exchanged. The 2 items were the Bomber Jacket and Cardigan Sweater. After not receiving a response to my initial email, I sent another one on Tuesday, March 31. After not hearing back, I sent another follow-up email on Wednesday, April 1. After not receiving a response, I sent another email on Friday, April 3. After not hearing back to ANY of my emails, I cancelled payment with my credit card company, American Express. Finally, on Saturday, April 11, Kyle N. emailed me to apologize, discuss the issue and resolve the chargeback. In the email, he stated he would send me a Return Label, and once the 2 items in question were received, he would refund that portion of the order. In addition, on Monday, April 13, Amaurys Grullon (the company owner), emailed me to explain the sizing issue and to reiterate a return Label would be sent, and a refund would be given once the items were received. I emailed them on Monday, April 13, to inform them that I would be returning the items. On Saturday, April 18, I received an email indicating the returned items were received. On Wednesday, May 20, I emailed the company to inform them my refund had yet to be given. I did not hear from them. On Tuesday, May 26, I followed up with them about my refund. I never heard back from them, nor has my refund been processed. It is now Monday, June 8, and I still have not heard back from the company, nor have I received my refund. read more

Except that The Bronx Native is a thoughtfully curated boutique/community resource that is all vibes all the time. This spot is a cultural hub, a love letter to all things Bronx and Mott Haven. Super warm, welcoming reception and exclusive South Bronx apparel, art and merchandise in a cozy, colorful interior that resembles a Fotografiska Hip Hop art exhibit. What's not to love? The owner, Amaurys sometimes hosts live DJs, open mics, charity and other social events right there in the shop. There's always new merch and reasonably priced high quality pieces literally every time I shop. I recently copped a "Mott Haven" hoodie, 2 "Mott Haven" beanies, a "The Bronx" beanie, a "NYERRR" cap, some vintage door knocker earrings and some cool Metrocard art featuring images of Nas and Notorious BIG. So New York. I love it. Speaking of new... the collectors are gonna love this: there's a licensed Pokemon card vending machine there too so that's AWESOME! It fits the vibe of the place. Authentic cards for $1 and believe it or not, a PSA graded card prize (which I had never seen at a vending machine until now.) I guess the person that invests the time and money wins it. Dope spot. Artistically and esthetically pleasing to the eye. Bronx Native holds a special spot in my heart, being that I'm native to The Bronx. They host shows that showcase talented people in music and poetry. I have purchased a few of their novelty T shirts and hats which are of great quality. It is nice to have a place that represents where you come from. They have an online store too but I believe you find more variety in store. Think grunge meets hip hop type ambiance. Great vibe. Super cool Merch. Clay, the manager, was so pleasant and helpful. As a true Bx Native, I've wanted to get there for awhile, and finally had the chance. Wasn't disappointed. Shop is small, so you might want to call and make sure the item you want is there, versus online/printshop. Parking can be an issue but if you're not there long you can join all the commercial vehicles and double park in front and keep watch through the large plate glass... or ride a Bike. read more

I went in person and the store front clearly says open , however it's only open certain days after noon and to me it's false advertisement. The telephone number listed in its website is not working ! I've ordered online in August, its November and have yet to received half my order. I've emailed multiple times and never get a response. They update constantly on instagram but do not answer. No one responds to email, DM's, and the store is always closed. At this point this is a complaint to the BB- stealing my hard earned money is not ok. read more

Having ordered before Christmas, I was notified many weeks later that there was a system crash and my order had been lost. They promised a refund and a 50% discount for future purchases. I had no qualms with this; I understood. However, that was roughly 5 weeks ago. PayPal notified me that the refund was not successful. I never received the discount code. I really wanted to like this store and support a local business in my home town. Online storefront was super easy to use. However, that was the only easy thing about my experience with Bronx Native. Placed an order for two items August 21, 2020. Received item #1 around August 30th. It was of very low quality. I was disappointed. Second item I didn't receive. I should have read the google reviews before ordering because apparently this is what is happening lately with this store ALOT. My sister ordered around the same time I did and had the same problem. Reached out to Bronx Native Shop via email and IG a total of 5 times between these modalities and finally got a notification November 1, 2020 informing me that my second item shipped. Absolutely horrible experience. I have a decently large following on Instagram, but something told me not to promote these guys until after I got my items. On Nov11 the owner posted a video on Instagram about supporting local business and I decided to buy two hats. 18 days later, one week before Christmas, and these guys haven't even shipped my items. They took my money immediately when I placed the order, but didn't get me what I purchased. You buy from these guys, you're dealing with thieves. Don't give these guys your money. Let me start with I am from the Bronx & I hate being the person who does this, But unfortunately as a consumer I'm left with no options. I have made all attempts to contact Bronx native and get this matter resolved. I purchased merchandise order # 10475 on 3/6/2018 I paid for regular shipping I figured since I'm in the east coast a week is enough time for it to arrive, I didn't get a tracking number via email or any email for that matter. After a week and a few days on 3/15/2018 I reached out to them via Instagram . They informed me that the manufacturer made the merchandise incorrectly. I explained I was leaving town on 3/22/2018 and would hate for the merchandise I paid for to be sitting outside during florida rain or taken for that matter. I expressed the shirt is fine even if printed incorrectly on 3/15 they expressed if I liked it will ship out so I expected shipping to take place. Unfortunately that was not the case on 3/19 at 1:43 pm I messaged them again to retrieve a tracking number or something but no reply my message was however ( seen). On 3/20 I attempted to call the number on my receipt 347-204-8430 multiple time but no one answers and the voicemail in full . What's sad is that I thought I would get good service base on all the good reviews. I guess i will have to dispute the charges since customer service is non existent.
