Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. I was charged approximately $300 for what amounted to a very brief appointment -- roughly ten minutes -- with a nurse practitioner. After that appointment, communication became extremely inconsistent. I repeatedly attempted to reach out and rarely received responses. At one point, my account was deactivated without clear explanation, yet I continued receiving automated messages encouraging me to make appointments. Most concerning, my card was recently charged approximately $240 when my account was apparently reactivated, despite the fact that I never intended to re-enroll or authorize that charge. I had to request a refund for a payment I did not knowingly agree to. As a mature woman simply seeking straightforward medical support and continuity of care, this experience has felt impersonal, confusing, and financially exploitative. Rather than feeling cared for by a healthcare provider, I felt processed through an automated system focused more on billing and subscriptions than actual patient support. I understand that telehealth platforms operate differently from traditional practices, but basic communication, transparency, and informed billing authorization should still be standard. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling frustrated and unsupported.

I have private insurance through my job and everything is covered except my copay. Since the very first visit at the Williamsburg location, I've been hooked. The staff was so nice and offered drinks as soon as i came in. Now i love the recess drinks. The doctors all have made me feel comfortable and I've had the best visits ever. Even Pap smears are comfortable. I've never been to a doctor and felt so listened to until now and each and every provider makes me feel that way. I've also gone to the soho location and enjoyed it As well. Lastly, since I've been listened to, I've felt much more comfortable during my monthly weight management appointments. I have lost over 50 pounds in a year with the help of the great providers and the referral to Nourish for nutrition. I can't wait to reach my goal of losing another 30lbs with the help of ask Tia.

I booked my appt and was very nervous but EVERYONE there was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable. Thank you to doctor and staff for the excellent care but most importantly for putting your lives on the line for women's right.

We arrived…read morefor the scheduled D & C, where I was not even allowed into the waiting room to be with my wife. She describes how she was taken into the surgical prep room, where she was treated with zero sympathy, as if she was coming in for a routine check up, nothing significant or emotional. It felt like an abortion factory, and money making business, with no sympathy from the unprofessional staff. After the sonogram and "surgical prep" my wife was sent into a room for so-called 'counseling'. Yet, this was the complete opposite of counseling it was trauma inducing! My wife explains how she was waiting for some sympathy or kind words, but was welcomed with you owe us a full amount because of this "elective abortion". She needed to fend for herself and explain that this was a miscarriage, yet was met with a 'business as usual' response. My wife was obviously in tears after being treated so coldly from this "counseling woman" and the nurses during such a sensitive time, she was told to stop crying or else it would not be good for when the anesthesia would be administered. She explains that after the procedure, she was shook awake and forced out of the bed to a chair, likely because the next person came just minutes after she moved to the chair (an abortion factory). She was nauseous, overwhelmed, and emotional. They did not even offer a drink or anything, just waited for her to get dressed and leave, offering no assistance with walking or anything of that sort. We couldn't even think of going back for the post-op visit 2 weeks later, we did because of protocol. This time, she was given a sonogram where my wife heard the sonographer relayed 2 quick words to the doctor. When my wife walked in she was met with an iPad, where the doctor who was on it introduced himself and my wife quickly realized that the doctor on the iPad was CLEARLY not the doctor who operated on her The doctor on the iPad was the name of the one she was meant to see. The doctor who operated on her didn't introduce himself and did not have a name tag, so of course my wife assumed it was the one she was supposed to see! This was a traumatic and horrible experience for both of us. To the point, where when relaying this experience people can't understand how this could have happened. D & Cs are procedures supposed to be handled with compassion, sympathy, and professionalism. Patients are supposed to be treated like any other outpatient procedure. If anyone wants to save themselves additional pain, stress, and disappointment, DON'T go here.

As a sufferer of severe pain caused by chronic & persistent endometriosis (that has not responded…read moreto two excision surgeries & hysterectomy by GYN surgeons in FL) I sought help from the best of the best, Dr. Seckin, refusing to succumb to a life of pain & immobility. I had been let down by 11 "Endo specialists", saying they didn't know how to help me further & "all of your endo was removed during your surgeries". Specialists additionally, gaslit me, saying my deep right leg pain could not be related to endometriosis. Seckin Endometriosis Center was just as wonderful as I had hoped. Due to his specialized training and experience in advanced excision of complex and nerve-involved endometriosis he suspected sciatic endometriosis with possible vascular entrapment immediately & he validated my right-sided leg pain & my symptom pattern. He immediately called his friend, vascular surgeon, Dr. Pamoukian to collaborate with him so I could get the best care possible. "I have a very interesting case for you..."- he said & told him to get to his office to meet me. Not, "We can't help this woman, she'll just have to live like this", not "it's not Endo they already excised all of it during your hysterectomy" not "have you explored the option of this pain being psychosomatic?" He looked at me with a face of, "let's do everything we can to figure this out together"... a face of determination, genuine empathy & curiosity. My eyes swelled with tears as I read hand-written letters that expressed heartfelt sentiment from parents of endo warriors-"Thank you for giving my daughter her life back...." Proudly framed on display. I am inhaling and exhaling genuine hope for the first time! Because he possesses unique, highly specialized skills, he routinely treats patients who have been turned away by other surgeons due to the risk of organ or nerve injury. My prior surgeries failed not because surgery was unnecessary, but because critical lesions could not be safely removed by providers without this level of subspecialty expertise. He is a GEM, who wants to spread education and awareness - he trains other surgeons to do what he does so his skills don't HAVE to be unique to him- so more surgeons can help more women- he is truly an inspiration. SO GRATEFUL!

By the time I showed up to Dr Seckin's office, I was in horrendous shape, having been in sharp decline for several months and a complex overall medical history. During my first visit, even with my brain fog and inability to articulate everything I needed to, I felt incredibly seen and understood. He pored over my notes and records, and believed my entire endo journey, all of the many symptoms and years of suffering. He also immediately saw the potential relief and what he could do for me. The entire practice moved mountains and fast tracked my process with them to get me schedule with both Dr Seckin and Dr Chu for surgery quickly (I also had Dr Ansary who was equally as knowledgeable and great). From explanations of the process, reassurances around major decisions, kindness every step of the way, and the incredible skill demonstrated throughout, I felt cared for in every way during this incredibly vulnerable journey. I was treated as whole person, who was experiencing tremendous suffering, and had better life to return to. Now, several months post op, I have relief that I could not even conceptualize beforehand. My healing has been phenomenal and the scarring has been minimal (which was not the case for previous surgeries elsewhere). This has been the single most transformative, positive medical experience I've ever had. I am reinvigorated in my life and so excited to step out into the world, pain free for the first time in two decades. Dr Seckin (and team) have been absolutely life-changing for me in ways I could have never imagined. I am forever grateful for Dr Seckin, his team, and his approach to endometriosis.
