A small comic book store located in Downtown Los Gatos! I got a bit lost coming here, but you have to go to the downstairs plaza and it's located on the left side of the stairs. They have a pretty big selection of current issues, back issues, and trade paperbacks. The current issues are arranged in a way that overlaps the comics on top of each other, so it's a bit difficult to find what you're looking for or see the cover (but everything is alphabetical). They had episodes of the Clone Wars playing on the TV at the back of the room, which was also cool to watch. I'm a pretty casual comic book collector, but I happened to find issues of "Batman Beyond the White Knight" that I was looking for, so that was pretty cool! I was also looking for Dark Knights of Steel, but they didn't have any at the time. The person working there at the time was really helpful and he helped me find some current titles I was looking for. Overall I had a pretty good time! I live pretty far from Los Gatos, but I'd drop by again if I were in the area.

Nestled at the bottom floor of a retail/business complex is a cave full of comic treasures. At the time of my visit, I was the only customer present. I was greeted upon entering the cave. My main intention for my visit was to check out the collection and soak in the sights. With "Bat Cave" in the shop's name, I saw a lot of Batman goods. I did a full lap of the shop and was pleasantly surprised at the items that caught my eye. Towards the back of the shop is a room filled with other collectible items such as sports memorabilia (signed as well!) and film/movie-related goods. The display cases at the cashier area also showcased a few unique figurines. I had a great chat with one of the workers that was available. I learned a little bit about the shop and we chatted about Batman. The chat resulted in me buying 2 Batman comic items. They are definitely collectible and in immaculate condition. I turned a curious customer to a happy customer before leaving the cave. I had an amazing experience at Bronze Age Bat Cave and highly recommend this comic shop to anyone interested!

New and improved sign. Can see right off of N. Santa Cruz Ave. Near Willow Street restaurant. Bottom floor.

This can be easy to miss since it's down a floor from ground level but there are signs and arrows pointing to it from the Main Street.

I moved from Sacramento to Santa Clara recently for work. This store has the largest space I've…read moreseen for players in Santa Clara (from what I've seen) whether it's tabletop or to play a card game. I came in an hour before closing. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted. They asked if I was looking for anything and was shown to the card sleeve section. I've been to multiple stores that specialize in cards. Why was this the ONLY place where I found a large assortment of card sleeves for players!! Lol I met Anna(?) or Ann, and customer service was amazing, gave all information I was asking for, and showed me the weekly schedule. I am more of a mega competitive player (but not a sore winner ;-)), so I wanted to know what their schedule looked like, what is their most supported game, etc. I believe this is a more chill, casual, friendlies kind of vibe (not a bad thing at all), and I'd be open to doing more drafts or pre-release kits or something. Hoping to bring in my coworkers and friends! I can tell that they care very much about making sure they can support their community and create an inclusive and healthy space. Masks are not a big deal for me, they're effective especially nowadays with allergies, new viruses, whatever lol Lots of different card games in stock and tabletop games for rent, a cute dog and a big space for players.. but what really made things great was speaking with Al about Witch Hat Atelier. I've been to a lot of comic book stores, and I'll see the "Favorite Picks", but that's about it. Al and I talked about it, we went through the art, explained the intro, and it really brought me in. Al's passion for stories really made me want to look at this series. I didn't buy it, but I can honestly say that I'd love to come back to the store to find out what the next big thing is Al will share with me. I can sense that these folks are passionate, accommodating, and personable. Hoping for further successes!

What an absolute wonderful shop! We're saw our kids don't get to grow up with memories of visiting…read morethe toys r us, but Ana and the team here at Illusive Comic & Games are just the best! This place transports you to all the various fandoms. It's easy for my kids to get lost in the many aisles of comic books and graphic novels. Today they featured a young photographer who was showcasing his incredible talents! We were thrilled to meet the photographer and even had the opportunity to purchase one of his prints! Love this shop and how they make it so easy to support small business!
