Good selection of back issues! Small but well organized little shop. Good customer service! Only stopped by for 10 minutes but found at least 6 back issues to round out our collections! Decent value as well.

This place is absolutely fabulous with all of the vintage and retro comics that they have. You could spend hours in here and still not see everything plus the people running. It are fabulous and amazing. I would definitely recommend this place.

My sister took me here for my birthday and I had a great time! The back issues were 50% off and I found so many great reads! I loved the posters and interior decorations and the large selection they had. Parking was easy to find and the workers were easy to talk to and approachable. They had a great selection of titles that were organized and easy to look through too. Will definitely be coming back again!

Vintage cards I bought from Hero's Comics.

First thing I want to say. These guys are really nice, I wish they had a larger selection of MTG stuff for me to buy from them, if I was missing any of my power nine I would buy one of the pieces out of their case. That being said, massive range of comics... freaking massive!!! I may come back when they are less busy and buy a Star Wars comic from them, this is a comic guys dream, not so much for me but the service provided alone is worth the 5 start review, I had to interrupt them during some sort of sorting slash pulling comics for a couple of large orders and they were happy to do so and didn't rush me when I was looking at the vintage cards I was buying from them. Really hope they do well! Good luck guys, maybe see you again soon.

Store front, parking lot is small!

As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted. They asked if I was looking for anything and was shown to the card sleeve section. I've been to multiple stores that specialize in cards. Why was this the ONLY place where I found a large assortment of card sleeves for players!! Lol I met Anna(?) or Ann, and customer service was amazing, gave all information I was asking for, and showed me the weekly schedule. I am more of a mega competitive player (but not a sore winner ;-)), so I wanted to know what their schedule looked like, what is their most supported game, etc. I believe this is a more chill, casual, friendlies kind of vibe (not a bad thing at all), and I'd be open to doing more drafts or pre-release kits or something. Hoping to bring in my coworkers and friends! I can tell that they care very much about making sure they can support their community and create an inclusive and healthy space. Masks are not a big deal for me, they're effective especially nowadays with allergies, new viruses, whatever lol Lots of different card games in stock and tabletop games for rent, a cute dog and a big space for players.. but what really made things great was speaking with Al about Witch Hat Atelier. I've been to a lot of comic book stores, and I'll see the "Favorite Picks", but that's about it. Al and I talked about it, we went through the art, explained the intro, and it really brought me in. Al's passion for stories really made me want to look at this series. I didn't buy it, but I can honestly say that I'd love to come back to the store to find out what the next big thing is Al will share with me. I can sense that these folks are passionate, accommodating, and personable. Hoping for further successes!

It was like visiting a museum dedicated to the comics of my childhood. Well, to be honest, some of the comics on display came out before I was born, which feels like a million years ago. Prices were clearly marked on the classic collection on the walls. It was fun looking at the old comic cover art and compare it to the contemporary artsy covers. A fun visit. I will definitely be coming back.

And they take good care of what they have. SELECTION: I was impressed that they had CGC slabs in a whole section. Autographed comics had a section. Variant cover by artist in another section. And TONS of great back issues. I would've arranged the new books so it's easier to see but I imagine the majority of their customers are pull service. Still I love the selection of back issues. SERVICE: Friendly, nice and helpful. Definitely good quality service. And they care about your books. Well kept. COST: You could find it cheaper on eBay but then you run the risk of damage and lower quality books since grading is so subjective. Here you MIGHT pay a little more but they are price competitive and you can pick it out without paying shipping. I would come here instead.

My dear wife and I had fortified ourselves with a most agreeable pint at the taphouse next door -- as any seasoned explorer must do before venturing into uncharted territory -- when we found ourselves drawn, as if by some magnificent magnetic force, through the doors of this remarkable establishment on a Friday afternoon. Good heavens, what a selection greeted us! The staff -- splendid specimens, every last one of them -- guided us with the enthusiasm of seasoned safari guides toward the most magnificent gifts for our beloved niece. They possess an encyclopedic knowledge of their inventory that would impress even the most distinguished fellows at the Royal Geographical Society. But the true trophy of this expedition? A gorilla. Not merely a gorilla, mind you -- a magnificent, hulking, larger-than-life beast of the stuffed variety, procured as a gift for my wife's coworker, whose admiration for our primate cousins is well documented. The creature proved so irresistible that I mounted a second expedition -- solo this time -- to acquire the gigantic version for myself. As you can observe from my field documentation, the beast has integrated seamlessly into daily life. He rides shotgun with the quiet dignity of a seasoned co-pilot. He joins me on the patio for an evening glass of red. He accompanied me on reconnaissance past the hair salon -- neither of us went in, though the signage was most encouraging. He is, simply put, magnificent company. Pennyland -- I shall return.

My mother took my son toy shopping for his birthday and got him a toy here, but later we found the same toy online for half the price (at regular price). I do not recommend buying from here, but if you do I would suggest checking prices online before purchasing, just to avoid getting ripped off like we did.
