This gem of a studio space is located in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix, not far from La Grande Orange Grocery & the original Postino Winebar. The Atrium business complex hosts a number of Therapists, Family Counselors, a roofing company, two noted Interior Designers, an affordable Massage Studio and an architect or two. Jayd's reception area is calm and has a designer's touch. I office nearby and stopped in a few months ago to see how a custom Airbrush Tan experience would work with Jayd. I've never had one and thought it good to know before sending my wife to Bronze Buddha Glow. Jayd walked me through the process, start to finish and explained how important it is to prepare the skin beforehand. A sugar or salt scrub, loofah or just exfoliating at home is needed to remove any flaky or dead skin prior to the tan. It's also recommended not to shower for 8-10 hours afterwards. She can also add a boost of sorts to make you even darker. After the initial conversation, I passed along Jayd's card to my wife and they set up the appointment a few weeks later. Kate was happy with the end result and will definitely return again.

Wow. Jayd not only gave me what I needed for my wedding, she was able to accommodate us last minute and came to our house. She was completely professional, even when dealing with my crazy family! She also put my friends to ease since it was their first time. Also, she knows all of the hookups for beauty treatments in the valley, so trust her with those!!!! read more

I cannot say enough GREAT things about Sonya!! I was so nervous to get a spray tan because I have not only heard horrific stories, I have seen the not-so-great results and things can get scary! Have no fear as your perfect spray tan awaits! I loved the fact that she uses all organic products and it was so easy to book an appointment online. Sonya explained the entire process to me before, during with instructions for after care and the results were amazing! The first spray tan I received right before my bridal shower and then I returned for a second tan for my wedding day. Both tans turned out perfect!! read more

This is my husbands account. But I come here with our daughter when we're in town and it is absolutely the best. The sun is so intense outside here in Arizona and sun beds are so bad for you. If you want a little extra color without sacrificing hours cooking in the sun and risking your health to something worse down the road then this is the perfect place to come. It was odd finding it at first. I thought my daughter was lost. But it is a very professional little quaint salon in the back. The owner operator (gosh I can't remember her name at the moment) is absolutely delightful and very detail oriented and skilled. I was a little hesitant to get sprayed at a salon I had never been to but Sonja did such an amazing job! She sprayed me a couple days before my wedding and I felt like I had a perfect vacation glow. I got so many compliments on my bronzy skin and how natural it looked. My bridesmaids were jealous that they didn't get sprayed before hand too! Jayd was wonderful and did an excellent job explaining the process to me, as well as taking the time to determine how dark I wanted to go. She made me feel extremely comfortable and did a great job. I'm no newbie to airbrush spray tans so I had high expectations going in to my first appointment with Jayd. She did NOT disappoint! She is so professional and sweet which made me super comfortable and I loved how she took her time, defining certain areas based on my body type. Sonya was great! I'm having a destination wedding in Scottsdale and wanted to test our my spray tan before hand. Sonya was friendly and knowledgeable. I have had some issues in the past with spray tans and she listened to my concerns and talked me through them. She even followed up a few days afterward to see how everything went!! Wow - I got a custom spray tan the other night for my pool party this weekend and I was extremely happy with my results. First of all, Sonya was very accommodating with my schedule. I called last minute and she let me come in at 8PM!! What great service and I love the location too. Very cool place and great set up. Second - the tan was perfect and literally made me look 10lbs thinner in my tiny Brazilian bikini plus it didn't even come off after numerous dips in and out of the pool! It's been 5 days and still looks great (shade lighter but still even). Never going anywhere else. LOVE this place and LOVE Sonya - she's the Best, recommend her to anyone who wants a great, even tan! read more

She was trained and received her certification in Airbrush Tanning with "Tanning Guru" Jayd Hernandez, in Phoenix, AZ who trained her on a specific technique of airbrushing for a flawless and natural glow that enhances your body's assets. She has since then obtained 3 more certifications including certification in contour tanning!

Im a bigger girl so being naked makes me nervous and the owner Paige was THE SWEETEST, made me feel super comfortable throughout the whole appointment, the place is so pretty and clean, quick in and out they're 10-15 min appointments so don't be late!! Or you'll completely miss it lol. But even the night before my wedding I got stuck in traffic 20min late and she made it work!

Celebrity Tanning was the only one that I found was open. Just drove up, no appointment and went in. Mackenzie, pretty, friendly and quite knowledgeable young lady greeted me. I told her I saw their coupon on Yelp for Tanning $1 and spray tans $20. She knew right away what I was talking about and proceeded to ask me what level I wanted, not a gimmick for only low level bed etc. I asked quite a few questions about the different spray tans & tanning beds. Mackenzie knew the answers to all my questions, not some off hand replys that wasn't really true. ( as a professional sales trainer I tend to ask questions I already know the answers too). Great service first of all Very clean and modern facility with Modern Equipment And excellent value They have $10 monthly memberships too. I have been coming for…read moreyears and just stopped in for a tan, and Taylor, Marley, and Kenzie were so fantastic and helpful. I have never been treated so nicely and they walked me through the different beds they had. They even suggested the special going on where you can upgrade to red light therapy or luxury beds for a week, which I took advantage of and I thoroughly enjoyed. It's so nice to go someplace for people actually care about customers and their experience. I highly recommend!

Tanning at Bronze Buddha Glow was a surprising experience. I was initially apprehensive to tan due to my sensitive, fair skin. I was fearful my skin would react negatively and the tan would be too dark for my liking. However, the experience was extraordinary and since my first go I have been back for numerous sessions! The chemicals used are gentle and organic so my skin responded well to the application. The staff painted the tan on with an airbrush gun so the application was precise and perfect! I looked like I went on vacation and was sun kissed! The office environment is an experience to behold! Parking is a synch and the suite is easy to find. When you walk to the office you hear the soothing sounds of waterfall running at the coy fish pond. The inside of the office is trendy yet comfortable so you can come as you are from---work/ gym/home-----and you are greeted by relaxing music, fresh complimentary coffee and refreshments with books to page through while you enjoy your refreshment. The studio made me feel comfortable because only one customer per visit is allowed in the space and there is a privet changing space--- you are given a soft towel to wear until the airbrushing begins. The airbrushing doesn't take too long, but long enough to know the staff is taking their time to get your unique tan right. The staff are so friendly and listened attentively to my request for in order to find the right tan for me! I sent a text to the staff to schedule the second appointment. They sent me a reminder text with a link to the simple list of things I needed to do before the visit--wear sandals, etc. You can call or register for your appointment online too. When I arrive the staff discussed if I wanted to go darker or stick with the same shade I had before. I was happy with the original results so I went with the same formula, which they had previously documented. I have gone back numerous times since and have been extremely satisfied with the results every time! Recently I was in an out of state wedding and the staff accommodated for my needs by seeing me later in the evening the morning before my flight to ensure my tan would last. I asked to go a shade darker and was thrilled with the results. I would strongly recommend this salon---once you try it---you will be back, like me, again and again!! read more

I was referred by an amazing Stylist in the Phoenix area, Risa Kostis and I was not disappointed! First, Sonya is so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable with the entire process. There are a lot of step when getting a spray tan from the prep to the aftercare. Sonya made all the information easy to understand and accessible. When I arrived, we discussed what color I wanted and what additives were available - I decided to try the warm vanilla scent and an anti-aging serum. During the treatment, she was precise and professional with each step. The aftercare was clear and easy to keep up with. It has been a week since I received my spray tan and I am obsessed! It was perfect from day 1 and it looks natural (which is what I wanted!). One of the most difficult areas to avoid the tell-tale signs of a spray tan is the hands/wrists and she did an amazing application on them. I left wearing one of her after-tan dresses and it was so nice to not have to worry about transferring my tan on my car seats or couch before bed! I highly recommend Bronze Buddha Glow & all the extras that I mentioned above. Get yourself the dress - you won't regret it! read more

Love Jayd she does an AMAZING tan on me every-time! She's quick and she always reminds me of what to do pre and post spray tan. Scheduling an appt is super easy. During the tan she explains and demonstrates what she wants me to do. For the first timers, Jayd was my very first spray tan ever. I was a little nervous not sure what to expect not sure what color. All I knew was that I wanted to look glowing and beautifully sexy ;) Jayd made me feel super comfortable and confident about being exposed during the tan. Nothing but positive things to say about Jayd. I did a spray tan with Jayd for my wedding and this was my first spray tan and she made me feel extremely comfortable and explained everything to me before she did it. My tan looks so natural and my hands and feet are not orange at all. Extremely positive experience and I will definitely be going back :) And my first tan with her lasted 8 days and it faded so evenly. I had the pleasure of meeting Jayd yesterday for an airbrush tan. She totally makes you feel at ease being in your birthday suit. She brought me from pasty white to having a sun kissed glow in less then 30 minutes! Her customer service is top-notch as well. This was my first spray tan and I could not have asked for a better experience. Jayd made the process very comfortable. She made sure to cover every area evenly and dried me thoroughly before moving on. The next day after I showered the tan looked even better than I could have expected. Sonya is amazing! My color turned out perfect and very natural looking, not orange or streaky at all. I loved that I could add a scent to the tanning mixture so I didn't smell weird for the rest of the day. She is professional, polite and very sweet and the salon is super cute and private. Jayd is the nicest person to work with. Her spray technique is different and much better than any other spray tan I've gotten. She really knows how to use a tan to contour the curves of your body. When she was done I looked in the mirror and was amazed at how nicely the shade made my abs and legs looks. I have had a lot of spray tans in my life and never have I had such a natural looking tan before. Not only is the tan organic, it has little to no smell at all, and it doesn't horribly dry out your skin like most spray tans. Jayd is amazing at what she does and makes sure your tan looks flawless.
