I don't know if I can express in words how impressed I am with this company. I was unhappy with my…read moremother's in home health care agency. Mama is mostly a bedbound 77 yr old with dementia. She is a frequent faller and has rebellious tendencies. So I googled home health care in Wichita Falls, Texas . Since the results came up alphabetically Visiting Angels was near the bottom. I called half a dozen in home health care agencies spoke with different people listened to them and what they had to offer. Finally got to Visiting Angels. Derik Schneider the owner himself answered the phone. That to me was a great first impression. That the owner himself was there in the office to take care of people. My mother already had in home care and had recently had an accident and was in a rehab center to recover from it and I figured this would be a good opportunity to switch. I voiced my concerns and the inadequacies of our previous agency. Mr. Schnieder politely went through what they had to offer. He was very informative he was compassionate and kind and professional. After the over 20 minute conversation we hit upon the fact that they are a Veterans paid agency. My mother has medicare. I was upset that I had found the pot of gold and couldn't take it. Then he asked me if mama was a veteran, the spouse of a veteran or widow of veteran. Mama is a widow of a veteran. So he then explained what was the procedure to get mama approved. I didn't start the procedure as mama was slated to be in rehab facility for several months. Well in all the chaos I forgot to get back to him and I broke my phone in the meantime. Since my phone number was no longer the same Mr. Schneider came to our home to check on us. Call me amazed. He then explained the procedure to get approved and hooked me up with a agent at a different agency to help me get my paperwork approved. (That is a different review) That agency needed a lot of paperwork from me. As I don't drive I had difficulty getting some of the paperwork that was needed. To help me replace the lost paperwork Mr. Schneider drove my mother and I to the health department to pick up a death certificate and the social security office to replace another missing document. He then helped me fax it to the other agency. Well it took several weeks for the other agency to complete all the VA requirements. But we were finally approved. As soon as we were approved Mr Schneider came to my home walked, me through the paperwork and we had a worker scheduled in our home the very next day. I can not express my appreciation enough for what Mr. Schneider and his staff did to help us get approved. Keep in mind approval was not a definite, but he helped not knowing whether we were going to get approved or not. We set up a schedule that was part fixed and part flexible. Mama won't be alone when I am out of the house and they offer transportation to any and all things needed. Even if it is a trip to the park or to the farmers market. It isn't just doctors and shopping for groceries. It is help in getting mama back out into the world to improve her quality of life. The lengths this agency went to to help me get the care my mama needed was extraordinary. The professional yet personable Mr. Schneider is a credit to the in home agency field. I highly reccomend them to help with any veteran who needs some help in living a better life. They are slated to help clean the home, help with personal care and to help mama with her excercises, to make her a less frequent faller. The biggest benefit is a better quality of life fo mama. Thank you Visiting Angels. You have earned your halos.

We liked the price quoted from this company, but the worker they sent the first night was not a good fit. She was too young and immature, and we weren't happy with her attitude toward my husband's mom's needs. Would recommend shopping around, and don't just choose the cheapest price you find.

I would like to commend the Wichita Falls Health line store for their great over the top customer…read moreservice! Not only did they work with me on my forgetfulness of missing appointments but gave me the best run down and operational information on my new medical device that anyone could ever have been given. You feel like you are the only customer they have ever worked with and you are helped and always asked if you understand everything before leaving the store. I would especially want to "Thank" Tammie Terry and the young lady who took so much time in explaining the medical device to me, Katrina. This is a place of business I highly recommend! It is also a business that I WILL continue doing business with for all of my health care needs if possible!

I had been working with Healthline Medical to get a new CPAP machine. I spoke with a young lady…read morethere on Thursday, during the call she made some comments that concerned me. Comments such as if I purchased a CPAP machine there then I would be buying the shell and not the entire machine. Sold separately would be items like the water chamber, the tubing, and the filter. I have used CPAP many years and I know that periodically you have to replace the water chamber, tubing and filter. I was totally unaware that this would be the case when purchasing a new machine. I felt this was not a fair way to treat a senior citizen so I decided to purchase elsewhere and cancel the order with Healthline. I have been a customer with Healthline in the past and either did not know they did this or they did not do it. Either way I gave three stars because they are a good company and maybe this was just a hostile employee. I hope to still do business with Healthline in the future just not with that particular young lady.
