Went today and there were tons of vendors with flowers, vegetable plants, meats, baked goods, frozen soup, crafts, tamales, pampered chef, Tupperware, food trucks, etc...lots to look at! There's a smaller parking lot, but lots of street parking. Open Saturdays from 730am- noon. Was lots of room and not overly crowded at all. read more

I really like this market, especially since it opens earlier on Saturdays (7:30am). They have a good blend of actual farmers and then all of the other stuff (baked goods, dips, soups, yard ornaments, etc). The prices are pretty similar to others in the area but really like one vendor with their excellent onion/pepper deals throughout the summer. Parking can be a bit tough - if they don't have a makers market, you can usually park in the other open lot. Otherwise, street parking helps to avoid slow, confused pedestrians that like to amble right up the main drive. read more

Even though I work relatively close to this Farmers market I have not been able to go to it because I work a lot of Saturdays or I'm out of town, today I didn't do either so the first thing I wanted to do was head over and check them out because a hearty soup was on today's menu. The Farmers market is next to the Brookfield library across from a school so I didn't know if I could park anywhere but everyone else did so I did to. The market was very busy and it was one of the better ones as far as variety goes I thought. I knew I would not find everything here but it would be a good start for my soup. I am always looking for fresh produce, baked goods, hot meat sticks, lunch and anything else that catches my fancy. I'm not an Apple cider fan but when I saw Apple cider donuts, no brained so I got them. I scored some jalapeño snack sticks from Cedar Road Meats, never had this before but I'm game. I grabbed some carrots, mushrooms and some cute miniature red onions for the soup. I missed having a rib eye sandwich from Neys Big Sky meats the last time that I saw them because I just had lunch but I said next time I'm getting one. Well I ordered the rib eye sandwich only to be told the last one was getting handed to the guy next to me so I would have to wait 5-10 for one, F that give me the prime rib burger instead. OMG the prime rib burger patty was very flavorful and seasoned nicely and I thought this would be freaking awesome dressed as a bacon cheeseburger with fresh toppings, I took it to go and by the time I ate it and found out how awesome it was the market was closed, crap. Overall the Brookfield Farmers Market is a well rounded market and a nice way to start the morning, I like it. read more

Expansive!! This is one of the largest markets in the area I've been to. I was there right at opening and it was busy already. Beautiful bouquets of seasonal flowers lined the walkways. The produce was all top notch and looked amazing and well grown. I went for bulk tomatoes and was presently surprised at the selection and price. Most vendors were cash only so come with that in mind. read more

The only reason I went here is because I had leftover tokens To spend from last year. Masks are required and it is too hot for me so I just went in and out. Limited vendors due to virus and spacing. Wanted to get something cold to drink but didn't see anything of the kind so I left. Maybe next year will be different. read more

Overall I do like the variety of vendors but seems very cramped for the space that is being used. The only drawback that I do not like is the disrespect of people who bring their pets along. Not all people enjoy having someone's personal pet come up to them. Also some of these people don't realize that they do scare some small children. 05/05/18 First day of the 2018 Season. My family and I had a great time visiting our local Farmer's Market for the first time. And it's pet friendly! We all felt very welcomed. With reasonable prices, it is a great option for our grocery shopping. We are looking forward to incorporating this market into our shopping go-to places. The community is so friendly, too! I am very disappointed with this market. I have been a regular for many years. I have also used the market rewards. I was told after the opening 2 weeks late that my card won't be punched for the closed dates. It's not customers fault that they were closed. I have been there every Saturday since the venders are sparse, many regulars are not there. Very disappointing. I was shopping at a few venders that were there and was told I will see you next Saturday the 4th when I was exiting the market I was hearing the market was closed on the 4th so the venders could spend time with their families. I thought these venders have been locked up for months. The crops they grow keep growing. They are suffering to not be able to sell what they grow. I think the current management of this market is a bunch of idiots. I checked and the Waukesha farmers market is open on the 4th. With many more venders. No masks required and no rules on social distancing. I'm going there in the future read more

Have to say that I was pleasantly shocked during my first visit earlier today. Who would've figured that one of the better farmers markets in the Milwaukee area would be in Brookfield! The vendors are equally split between produce and already prepared foods. There was an abundance of fresh produce, and the strawberries I picked up were some of the best local Wisconsin ones I can remember having. Prices are excellent here, and the vendors are super friendly. One word of advice, the drivers in Brookfield make the ones in Orange County look like Danica Patrick......so be patient. Also, parking at city hall lot can be a cluster#u@k, so try parking at the high school and walking over. It'll save you from the frustration. This also is a great market to bring the kids. They tend to have special events on different Saturdays. For instance, I was studying at the library next door one day, looked out the window and saw some random cow out there!!!!!! Now you all have one reason to visit Waukesha County! read more

Was so excited for another year of the Brookfield Farmers Market. Sadly, with the change in venue and current rules and restrictions, it has a depressing and oppressive atmosphere. There was hardly any business last week and I feel badly for the vendors. The market has lost its charm and there are others in the area that offer that sunny, upbeat vibe you crave after a long winter. read more

Its a beautiful market. They just need to get with the program and have more organic venders. In addition, vendors should be knowledgeable about what they're selling. I asked a vendor if the soup was gluten free. The boys answer was "I don't know..." People shop markets for a reason. They expect hired help to be educated in what they're selling. I hope to God it was Not the owner I spoke with as that would be extra scary. Needless to say... didn't buy from that vendor and won't again. Food allergies are not a joke. read more

Coolest place to be on a Saturday morning in Brookfield. I was really impressed that there were two food trucks (Chameleon and Satellite Crepes)--I think the former is new this year. Everyone is in such a good mood and the farmers are happy to give advice and free samples. The kettle corn vendors are a must-see and there are many bakeries selling breakfast pastries and coffee. The produce is fresh and local, and most is very reasonably priced (eggplants and green bell peppers for a dollar, corn for 50 cents an ear). read more

Had an awful experience at this market trying to leave. A man who was trying to direct traffic decided to start yelling at cars to move. As I was trying to leave a vendor was in front of me and I could not leave so I waited. The same man started to yell at me to get out. He was extremely rude. When I showed him it was impossible for me to get out there was a car in front of me he became belligerent and yelled at me to get the hell out ! He then shouted his wife was the market manager ! I ignored him until the vendor in front of me was finished loading his car. I won't be going back to this market! read more

Visited the Bkfl farmers market yesterday. I work Saturdays so don't usually get there. I got some amazing strawberries, pea pods, tomatoes & cukes. Plus great dog watching. read more
