Really good pizza! Buying a slice is a bonus versus the pie. Seating is crowded, and it was very busy at lunchtime but worth it

As I was walking out of Jeremiah's Italian Ice, I noticed a lunch special advertisement posted on the window of Brooklyn Pizza: two cheese slices for $4.99. Finding the deal reasonable, I quickly decided to go inside. The atmosphere was very quiet as I asked the employee behind the counter about the availability of the two cheese slice lunch special. I snagged the deal with minites to spare before the special ended at 3pm. The employee rang up the order, removed two cheese slices from the display case, and placed them on the oven to be heated. The slices were hot with an even layer of sauce and cheese, but the overall taste just didn't wow my palate. The crust was excessively crispy and it had the dry texture of cardboard, making it quite disappointing. The fact that this is only my second visit in over two years shows that Brooklyn Pizza hasn't intrigued me enough to come back consistently. read more

Stopped in for the first time today after work. Very friendly young lady behind the counter took my order for 2 slices of pepperoni pizza to go. I was impressed with the thin crust and the pizza was delicious. I will definitely be back-next time will try the tasty looking thick crust but the thin crust was perfection. read more

Normally Brooklyn pizza pizza is outstanding, but last night, it was off, not awful, just not the usual great pizza. Perhaps a new pizza maker as it seemed under cooked, my dumb husband added 1/2 pineapple, ugh, the other half our usual sautéed onions, too much maybe, then we got the train, maybe it steamed too much in the box, oh well, but the meatball special appetizer was awesome. This place is out of this world, the customer service is the best. I got helped by Daniil, super good looking fella. Got Blown Away with how handsome he was. When I entered this establishment I was hit with wonderful Italian aroma, bringing back memories of when I lived in Italy. The service is amazing where they listen to you and not just hurrying you up to order no, they help you out to get what YOU want not what they want. The pizza is almost as it's straight from Italy the cheese melts in your mouth the sauce is made with perfection and the meats let me not get starred with the meats, it's fresh meats and that's what a true Italian wants. The location is perfect right next to the beach less than 5 minutes away. These guys are really really great and friendly, the restaurant is clean, it's conveniently located next to Publix in a shopping mall and it's reasonably priced. We visited June 13, 2020. The establishment was clean and the seats were comfortable. It was an average pizza place. We ordered two round slices and one square slice. The server was friendly, but I would have preferred a bottle of soda over the machines, due to COVID-19. It is also notable that no associate was wearing a mask or social distancing. The pizza came out shortly, and it tasted good, but not great. We also ordered zeppploes, and they granted us a plentiful amount. I liked them. If it were possible, I would give this restaurant a 3.5/5, but in this case, I am failing to give them the push because there are many establishments in Pompano Beach and Boca Raton which make better pizza. Kostas, Augy's, and Pizza Time serve as examples. Overall, the service and pizza were good. It is worth a visit, but I am not certain that this will become your 'go to' establishment. read more

Ufff...very greasy pizza. The flavor is actually very good...but if you're trying to avoid having a heart attack in the next 50 years then a healthier option might be suitable. The pizza here is very close to authentic NYC style pizza...just way greasier than anything I've ever had before. I waited until I had been back a few times before writing this review. An 18" one topping pizza will set you back $20 without tax or tip. In this day and age of $5 pizzas this is actually pretty average price for non-chain large pizzas. Why the third star? Good service. I call in my orders for pickup and am usually told 20 minutes. 20 minutes after I hang up I have my pizza in hand. The kids working there are also hygienic and well mannered. We have been ordering pizza from Amelias since we moved to lighthouse point 2 years ago. It was an amazing discovery just a half mile from our house. We have ordered from them regularly. At least 3 -4 times a month. Unfortunately, things have changed. We just ordered our usual pizza and when we both took our first bite we realized something wasn't normal. We noticed the cheese was very different. Not stringy nor melted. We knew they changed something. I called to ask and she wasn't sure about the change but did say they had new owners. The pizza and the wings are my favorite! Is one of the cleanest pizza places i've ever been, all the sauces are homemade, marinara, vodka... they also made the dough ! The reason why is lil mark is because when the dough is recently fresh is so soft so it kind of melts into the marks of the metal trade where they put it...
