I found Dr. Sal's office on Groupon and I'm glad I did. I was seen right away and loved the fact that they honor your true appointment time unlike many other medical facilities. In the examine room, the doctor greeted me well and was very knowledgeable about my problem. He offered several solutions to treating it and offered his recommendation, given my discourse about wanting the least invasive treatment. In less than 5 minutes, he treated me accordingly, and sent me on my way. Wonderful experience. Highly recommended. read more

Very very rude reception Staff not so much when I was checking in but when I was checking out they told me every follow-up visit is going to be $50 cash only and do I want to continue because they don't want to make an appointment for me if I'm going to cancel .....on top of that the doctor honestly in my opinion seemed high AF when he was using the laser on my toes. He kept asking the same question over and over and was sweating profusely. I bought the topical solution that the doctor recommended from them of course It was another $20 cash....but I am seriously going to reconsider going back to them unless I see a marked difference in my toenails . In addition they had a lot of security cameras there but they had security cameras also in the examination rooms which I honestly thought was against HIPPA laws. Stay away from Brooklyn Podiatry Associates. I purchased a LivingSocial voucher for laser toe fungus removal for $50 that advertised a promotional value of $800, a 94% discount! So I bought it in hopes of having $800 worth of laser work done at steep discount. Seems too good to pass up right? When I arrived at their location I was told that the treatment I was going to receive really only cost $75-$150 (depending on which person I was talking to, seems like they just make prices up on the spot). So, instead of a 94% discount, I was really only receiving a 33% discount. Had I known this, I wouldn't have bothered to purchase this because it's really not that great of a deal. The staff were pleasant enough during my visit although the equipment used was extremely old looking and couldn't possibly have been the latest available (as I would've thought for a procedure ordinarily costing $800). When I called back the next day to confront them about this huge difference in what is advertised and what is delivered, the staff member was extremely rude, defensive, and hung up on me before we even finished the conversation. All I can say is, do not go to this shady business. Their only aim is to offer shoddy service while misleading their customers into thinking they're getting a great deal when the reality is much, much different. read more

There are no words to express my gratitude to Dr. Gaudino. I have had difficulties with my foot after a fracture. I could not walk without pain. For six years I endured pain with every step. I saw many doctors and specialists for help without avail. Then about two years ago Dr. Gaudino gave me my life back. I can walk without pain. He is a miracle worker. The office is great. Everyone is so accommodating and nice. Lisa is an amazing, she is kind and compassionate. She is always willing to help. They go above and beyond for everyone. I made a 12pm appointment for ingrown toenail treatment. The doctor walks into the office at 1:15pm, without any reasonable explanation. I was told on the phone that they would do matrixectomy to prevent the ingrown toenail from growing back; the doctor wouldn't do that. He also kept insisting I had diabetes. read more

This place is a scam!! I purchased a $129 Groupon for toenail fungus removal. By the time I was able to go the offer had expired but the $ face value never expires and has to be honored. When I came to this "chop shop" I was greeted by an extremely rude receptionist/assistant. She told me that the treatment is only $50 and I would only be able to get 1 treatment with my $129 paid. Last time I checked $129 is a lot more than $50. I was already there for a session so I went ahead with it. I never met the podiatrist and the procedure was done by this burned out, nasty, mean-spirited woman. My toenail improved only about 10% and this "professional" told me that I would need 2 more treatments but again - would not be able to use the rest of my Groupon. I never went back. Instead I filed a complaint with Groupon and got my money back. I will also file a complaint with appropriate authorities because this individual holds no professional license to preform treatments on patients without a doctor's supervision. Don't go here and if they or anyone else did you wrong, don't just take it. Report them!!! read more

I bought a Living Social coupon to nip a growing nail fungus in the bud. They are very smart for offering this treatment as such a steep discount. This gets people to actually come into their office. I did some homework beforehand and it was helpful in understanding how the treatment would actually work. The laser treatment doesn't get rid of the fungus alone. It just kills it under the nails and forces it to move elsewhere (to the feet if not already there, the top of the nail, etc). The doc advised me that in order to get rid of it fully, I would have to apply topical cream to the feet and something for the nail and he would take a biopsy to verify the fungus presence. They of course billed my insurance for the visit which I had no problem with. The staff was extremely polite and courteous. The doctor was a pleasure to talk to. Also, the technician/assistant who did the treatment was extremely knowledgeable and so sweet. I will up the star rating to 5 stars when the treatment works. ;) read more

I had a very bad corn removed and Dr Sal did a fantastic job.He was caring, gentle and very good at conveying post treatment care.

I went to see Dr Gaudino after injuring my left foot it was swollen and extremely painful. The doctor's staff was extremely accommodating and set me up with an appointment right away. Once in his office, Dr Gaudino made me feel very comfortable. He assessed that it was indeed a fracture and that surgery would be necessary. I ve never had surgery of any kind so the news caused a heightened level of anxiety. But, Dr Sal was there for me. He explained the procedure in an understandable way and assured me that it would be routine. It's now one week after surgery and I've experienced very little pain. There were no surprises because the told me everything in advance. It is truly a blessing that I found such a skilled and compassionate man. I have other issues related to my feet that need to take care of; and there is no other doctor who I would ever imagine going to. read more

The receptionist of this place is awful. She has no respect for people whatsoever. I came in today and unfortunately got lost getting there so I was late for my appointment. As soon as I walked through the door, I apologized for my delay. She didn't make any sort of acknowledgement to my apology and said Name? I give her my name and she asks what treatment I'm there for I explain to her that this was the first time I had gone to see this type of Dr. so I wasn't sure about the treatment and she dares to respond "Usually people know what treatment they are on" How on earth do you say that to a customer? She then makes me fill out forms I don't say anything at the moment because I didn't want to get into an argument with a bitter woman, not worth my time. She proceeds to say "fill out these forms" So I take the documents and start filling them out standing. Not good enough for her she says "sit down over there" again, I take a deep breath and continue to fill out the papers. She proceeds to say louder "Sit down over there" I again don't want to have an argument so I let it go. I finish filling out the paper work give it back to her she asks for my credit card so I give that to her, charges my card and gives it back. I'm waiting for the Dr. to take me in. Once I go into the Dr's office we do the consultation, and I ask if I can please talk to someone as I would like to give some feedback. So the same bitter woman comes back into the Dr's office and yells "you can give all the feedback you want about me I don't care" So of course by this time I answer back and say "Of course I'm going to give feedback about you, you are the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever met and no client that is paying for a service should be treated this way". I then speak to the Dr. I assume owner of the place and he gives me an apology which I appreciated but did tell him that isn't enough. He then stayed quiet and didn't say anything else. It is very frustrating to go to a place where bitter and rude people work and treat you with no respect or humanity. This is not tolerable for anyone! I really hope this person understands that all the clients that go to this practice put food on her table. Do not go to this place. read more

The staff and all the dr's (esp Dr Guadino) are caring, compassionate and really went out of their way to make sure I felt at ease when I fractured my heel. There's never any long wait, if at all, and they are all amazing at what they do...Awesome!!! read more
