Brooklyn Tax Service was founded by Renee Schweke, EA as a dedicated tax prep and IRS conflict resolution firm with a forward-thinking vision. She wanted to embrace technology and build a smart tax firm for our younger, emerging professional generation.

Meet the Business Owner: Renee S.
Renee Schweke, EA is the founder of Brooklyn Tax Service Inc. She received her BA from Queens College in 1994 and served as Unit Chief of Tax Reporting at the NYC Office of the Comptroller, Bureau of Accountancy.
Renee lectures about various tax topics around NYC, including international student and business tax workshops. She is well known in EA circles as being resourceful, reliable and approachable. She is the current Metro Chapter President of the New York State Society of Enrolled Agents.
Renee was born and bred in NYC, and lived in Seattle, WA for 10 years. She has always dreamed of owning a successful tax firm, and followed her heart. She enjoys taking pictures of Brooklyn street art, and drives a tangerine car.
