( IMHO) Stocked up on my herb garden for our backyard planter. A huge section inside the greenhouse. Many different varieties to choose from. A tradition for me in flowers has always been marigolds for color and great for keeping those unwanted pests away. They will let you roam around here. But the ladies & Harry are glad to help out and answer all questions that you may have. For me, prices are better than most big box stores around the area. I went back two weeks ago to get more plants and could not find someone in the field to help purchase plants. Went inside to ask if they could send someone to help and was basically told they are too busy with professional landscapers. I asked to use the restroom and I was told that it was out of order. I asked the only cashier that was there, a mid-aged woman, what do employees do when they need to use the restroom? Her response was That they use the bathroom when they get home or otherwise they use public restrooms in some park across the way! When I told her that this was a true emergency she told me that there was a Porto potty on the premises and gave me directions to get there....When I finally find the Porto potty it was blocked off by closed gate! So I quickly pick up a few items and rushed to the cash register, And here's the real kicker to the story.... i'm the only one waiting on line and while this woman knows that I'm having a bathroom crisis she proceeds to speak to one of the gardeners and has me waiting for about another five minutes then takes her time strolling back to the register!!!!! I told her that I was so appalled by the treatment that I was getting and that I would write about it on Yelp! So she tried to be nice to me and said that I could use the bathroom on the premises but I would have to mop up any kind of mess! Then she proceeded to tell me, That due to the COVID, They really do not want customers using their restrooms due to fear of spreading the virus! Well needless to say I would have spent more time in the garden centre and spent much more money there providing that I was not in such a hurry to find a restroom! Noticed however different prices on each. We said we would purchase both for the same (lower by $10) price. The woman (not Penny) said ok. When it came time to pay for our items she said "no". She didnt even honor the 1 at the $10 lower price. Needless to say, we left and did not buy the clothing. They lost a $200 sale by not honoring the amount on the tag and not honoring a price adjustment on the other item. This is terrible customer service.
