They have tomatoes, pepper basil and eggplant plants

Countryview is a Medium size local farm, tremendous selection and prices slightly higher than the competition. The lines were very organized, and they had a solid stock of plants I wanted. The employees were super friendly.

Beautiful garden on its way to Mr. T's house!

I was trying to find away to get some annuals delivered to a friend of ours in the Monroe area. I called a few that couldn't do it. I them came across Countryview and Brennan answered the phone!! I explained my situation, a former beloved teacher of mine decided he couldn't plant his beautiful garden this year, so we decided too try and help him and get his garden started! Brennan took the bull by the horns, picked out some perfect plants, sent me pictures, had them delivered and wrote out a card for us as well! He made myself and siblings happy and more importantly made our beloved teacher happy! Brennan you are a great business man and even though I'm too far to shop by your place in the regular I will suggest your place! And I will alway remember you! Thank you!!!!

Christmas Wreath
Carla R.

Most of the years I make my own wreaths, because most wreaths they shed and after a couple of weeks it's time to throw them away! This wreath has been bought about a month ago and is still looking beautiful! I'm looking forward for next winter to buy these again! They are a little pricier, but with this one; you get what you pay for.

Some nice deals on plants, shrubs and trees

The arborvitaes we got were almost half of what they are elsewhere and the Japanese Maple we picked up was a good deal too.

It's strawberry season!! Don't miss this short window of strawberry picking at Battleview Orchards!…read moreIf you aren't interested in going on the actual farm, you can enjoy their amazing country store and bakery and purchase the freshest, most beautiful and delicious strawberries. I also grabbed a few strawberry treats as well while I was there. All year round, Battleview has different picking seasons, so check their website for more info to see what's running. They consistently have amazingly fresh produce and if you love corn, you can't beat it. Also for sale in the country store are plenty of other fresh fruits and veggies, sauces and dressings, dips, and lots of candy too! Apple picking time is also very popular! Their pricing is also very fair for what you're getting. It's always nice to support local farms. They had a tough year already with the devastating crop damage from the freeze this past April.

It was $4.49 per pound. $5 entry fee that is applied towards whatever you pick. The staff are really friendly and laughed as I tried to guess everyone's weight for the berries they picked. I'm going to make it an annual tradition. There are ample parking spots for Friday around 11AM. The little store up the road was also filled so many jams, spreads, and strawberry treats.

This place is a REAL farm, operating since 1860, and is simply magical. You will find only the most wonderfully friendly staff, the most sincere pumpkin patch that Linus would be proud of, and a memorable day outside in the beauty of nature and what makes farm life, farm life. For $5 per person, you are covered for a hay ride to and from the pumpkin patch. A REAL pumpkin patch; not just pumpkin purchased and thrown in a field with straw. Like, maybe bring a small knife to cut these babies free to take home with you! The ride around was super cute with how they decorated the property (I won't completely spoil it for you!) and allowed you to take in the little changes in fall foliage peeking out. For $8 per person, you get access to pick your own flowers for $1 per sunflower and $0.50 per other flower variations, as well as a corn pit, tractor tire tower, obstacle course, basketball hoops, slides, and more. Our 4 year old absolutely had a BALL in the corn kernel pit and the slides really tested his bravery. You could tell the vibe was less about posing for the most perfect photo and more about just being together with family and friends. The two food trucks on location had responsibly prices pork rolls, hot dogs, apple cider donuts and drinks, whereas if you wanted to splurge and be a foodie, they had a BBQ food truck as well. Again, wonderfully friendly staff and the hot dogs have been approved by my toddler. Cash is much appreciated here, even though they do accept credit cards. This is OUR farm now and I can't wait to come back before the end of the season!

The kids had a blast with all the activities, there was bowling, basketball, 3 corn mazes, a few playgrounds for the kids to climb on and a bunch of corn pits. Pro tip- Get the apple cider donuts early the line can get long Pro tip- bring lawn chairs and extra snacks for the brewery next door

The staff is consistently friendly, and they also sell a variety of homemade items, which is a nice bonus. One tip: bring cash if you'd like to buy feed for the animals. It's a great place to spend a day outdoors with the kids without breaking the bank. There are plenty of places to sit, relax, and enjoy snacks or lunch while the kids play. We always have a wonderful time and look forward to coming back.

However, once we parked and got our tickets, things started moving better. There was more breathing room. This is not a traditional farm where you can pick your own berries. They may have that option, but we went for the activity section that they created. There were corn mazes for all sizes, games, and activities for all ages. There was a fenced kids section for smaller kids that was nice. Food was disappointing. Lines were extremely long and prices high. I would recommend eating before going. While my initial impression of this farm Was stress inducing, I was able to relax once we got into the games and activities it offered. Overall, not what I expected, but a nice experience that I would recommend to others.

Gasko's Family Farms - This place is fully stocked up every type of annual and perennial and all are healthy. It's just hard to find a staff to help.

This is a great family owned farm that has an amazing abundance of plants flowers and Garden items…read more The prices are unbeatable. The main problem is that around holiday holidays such as Mother's Day it gets so darn crowded that they need a police officer for the parking lot, so be sure to arrive early or later in the evening before it closes at five during the weekday. The parking lot is a hot mess. We almost got hit about three times trying to get out and people walk in front of your car as you're trying to back out of your parking space so be a very cautious driver. Carts can be hard to come by if it's a crowded day. And many of the plants are hanging on the greenhouse ceiling poles, and there is no plant grabbers to get them down. You have to flag down a staff member and hope they speak English or listen to you to get help. When we finally found a grabber and we're using it one of the staff members rudely told us we could not carry it with us and yet our plant was across the greenhouse that we needed. So my advice to the farm is to get more plant grabbers for the ceiling plants and have more staff available on the busy days to help customers find items as well as get them off the ceiling. Other than that, it's an amazing place to buy plants, especially on a calm day.

This farm by far has cheapest prices for plants…read more Parking : The parking is not problem there is huge parking, go past the pickup area and next 3 entrance lead to the extended parking area Carts: huge shortage for amount of traffic this farm gets. See uploaded picture, there is line for getting carts. Tip: if you are here for big plants just walk in and wait or find the staff in tow tractors, they will pick your tree to pickup area and give you a ticket for payment. Payment Line: it's a big mess, they really need to put some staff to sort this out, there is so much confusion on where line start, people merge from all over the place, at minimum they need to put marker/signs to follow for payment, this should be #1 priority for the business. Payment: other than cash or checks they don't take any other form of payment , there is an ATM near exit, close to pickup area. Added one star as I found the peach tree I was looking for. I would recommend this farm for prices they offer.

Upon arrival, however, there were no visible signs of closure, nor any gates by entrance. We parked car by corn maze with my family to find entrance, only to be confronted by the owner after 5 minutes, who proceeded to use profanity despite the presence of young children. We maintained composure, explaining our unawareness of the closure and attempted a calm conversation. But the owner responded with derogatory remarks, threatening to involve the police despite our lack of wrongdoing. The farm lacked closed gates, signage, and an updated Google Maps status. Caution advised, especially for families, as the owner exhibited racism and a lack of compassion. Owner was very aggressive and was blocking our car from leaving. He was threatening us that cops will be called and asking for 100$, all while screaming and cursing .We were discriminated and cursed at for no reason. We would definitely never visit this place before checking google maps or if there would be sign " No Trespassing ". Never will recommend this place , especially not for holiday festivities with kids.
