Traveled to New Orleans for a wedding over memorial day weekend and the airline lost my luggage. I arrived at my hotel With three hours to get ready, wearing 2 day old jeans, T shirt and tennis shoes. Walked to BB from my hotel and was greeted by Benjamin Clement with a friendly "how can we help you?" I explained my situation and he reassured me. He fit me with an off the rack sport coat and found me a pair of trousers that he assured me would be tailored while I waited. New shirt, belt, socks and underwear, but no shoes in my size so he sent me 2 doors down for those. By the time I bought them and returned, my trousers were done. Took my new duds back to the hotel and changed just in time for pictures. BB and Benjamin saved the day!!!! read more

Today was my first ever time in a Brooks Brothers. It definitely won't be the last. I didn't catch the saleswoman's name sadly but she was so sweet and patient. I stopped in to make an exchange with my sister in law but I will definitely be back with my husband to shop. She made the exchange process so streamlined and simple. They didn't have in stock the size we needed so she ordered it and had it shipped home for us, just like that. Really quick and totally impressive. They have a wide selection of mens wear. Classy, sophisticated and sporty looks for all sized men. I loved the ginger jar decor on the walls. It reminded me of my living room, as I collect them. It was very clean and not cluttered at all. We stopped by around 3 pm on a Friday to purchase a formal dress shirt for a masquerade ball happening the next day. It was our first time visiting a Brooks Brothers. We first checked Riverwalk and other stores in Canal Place and could not find what we were looking for. Upon arrival in Brooks Brothers, Ben greeted us, measured my fiancé, and assisted us in finding an appropriate shirt. Although the sleeve length was a little short, it was good enough (it was the longest sleeve they offered). Ben was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. He quickly found what we were looking for and pointed us in the right direction to find the other items we needed for the ball. After purchasing the dress shirt ($135, $148.10 after tax), Ben offered to steam the shirt to remove the wrinkles, while we shopped at a nearby kiosk. It was ready when we returned and looked great at the ball. After this great experience, we would return to Brooks Brothers in the future and would recommend this store to others! read more

Talk about service! I was made aware of a dinner reservation at Commanders Palace for 7:15pm but did not pack a button dress shirt for their dress code requirement. To top it all off, I was with family touring the sugar cane plantations so I would not make it back on time to purchase any dress attire! Phil of Brooks Brothers was there to help! He was such a gentleman and so courteous. He found me my size and was able to deliver them to my hotel as well as a matching shirt for my son! Phil also ironed my shirt so I looked like a million bucks! Talk about saving my life! Thank you Phil and Brooks Brother for such impeccable service! Came in today completely out of sorts as I had a research project for school due that day. Wandered around the store for a few minutes worried about how to approach anyone when someone came up to me! Melissa was an amazing fountain of knowledge, someone who clearly loves her job and feels great loyalty to her brand. She sat with me for almost an hour discussing Brooks Brothers history, the local store's customer demographics, and the basic outline of the stores apparel. I was buying nothing, it was clear that BB was way out of my price range, yet she make me feel welcome. This is one of the best Brooks Brothers stores in the U.S.A. and they have some unique New Orleans items. If you find yourself needing a tie in Carnival colors then this store can provide you with a nice selection. I've always found the staff here to be extremely helpful (sometimes to the point of overkill). I generally prefer to get most of my Brooks Brothers clothing at a significantly reduced price at their outlet stores (hooray we finally got an outlet in Gonzales) but some unique NOLA items are only available at this store. I've always found the quality and fit of most Brooks Brothers items to be among the best quality. If they would have outfitted both Southern and Northern officers during the War of Northern Aggression then I would give them Five Stars but I have to hold a slight grudge (and star) against them for only outfitting dirty Yankees. read more

Brooks Brothers provides great quality clothing at price I can't pretend to afford but I thought with a 50% off sale they were having I could maybe get some solid standard items. Unfortunately the staff judged me as unworthy of their time and managed to offend me within mere moments of walking in the door. Too bad too. I actually really needed some good work clothes. I know it wouldn't be much to them but I would have dropped some rather serious money. That said I would totally go back just for the amazing ties. read more

Was on a vacation at Belize only to have a wedding on the back end of our trip in New Orleans. Since I travel light and had only beach attire. I decided to buy my clothes at Brook Bros. I was met with a salesperson named James. This guy was so helpful and help me pick a nice outfit that didn't break the bank. So much as been said about Brooks Brothers online that I hardly need to add more other than to say that this is the classic American clothier. Its been around since the early 19th century and has dressed everyone from US Presidents to the Union Army during the Civil War. They invented the off-the-rack men's suit and the button down collar dress shirt. They are the standard in men's business dress and should be one of your first stops when looking to dress professionally. The New Orleans location was recently renovated and is much more spacious and has a lot better selection than the old one did. The service here is also top notch. I've had multiple wonderful experiences working with Ben. He's very knowledgeable and helpful. The clothes here are a bit more expensive than at stores like J Crew and Banana Republic, but the quality is vastly better and will last a lot longer (I've owned items from all of these stores). read more

I have been a customer for years. But I am greatly disappointed. I went today to the San Francisco store to buy a bow tie. I asked and was told that they were upstairs. When I arrived at the third floor I saw a few but everything looked wrinkled and used. There was not a single human being besides me on the floor. I then went downstairs to see if I could get some help, but the sight of cardboard boxes sent a message of low class and I left. Bought the tie at Nordstrom. I do not how they can maintain their brand with sloppy appearance and no customer support. read more

I was in with my wife this past weekend and we were helped by a tall blonde lady (I forgot her name) who worked with me to find my size in dress shirts.. She was very nice to tell us about special discounts on items I otherwise wouldn't have known about.. I went in to buy a last minute replacement Tails shirt, and the lovely young lady helping me had several sizes readied for me to try on. The shirt was of an impeccably high quality as well. If you don't look like a certain type of person, you will most likely be ignored while other customers get the attention that all shoppers deserve. She went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed for my interview. She even did it all over a virtual styling session (Facetime). She is a great communicator, very warm and personable.
