Like people were really serious about ping pong had knee pads and wrist braces. It was fun to see. We fit in being two amateur players playing for fun. But now I hear there's no ping pong? When are ping pong nights and when or what do you offer for ceramics and wheel throwing? There is no email on any sites. Just a phone number to call.

My first visit was right before the Pandemic stuck in 2020. I had visited Union 15 first. Being a pizza lover I had to give it a shot. It is good pizza but, the garlic knots are probably the best thing there. I like that they have many local beers on tap. I remember talking the person behind the bar and how he looked forward to this place growing w/ Iroquois park across the street and the events that take place there during the summer. I went back again for the shuttle pick up for Tailspin last year and this year. Then Covid happened and I hadn't made my way back until Tailspin this year for the shuttle pick up. I definitely recommend Union 15 if you're a pizza lover and beer lover, especially local beer. There is also a Taco Luchador, I hadn't been to this location but have been to their Baxter Ave location. Biscuit Belly and B.A. Colonial I haven't been to either places but, plan on making it to those places someday. Overall I'm really impressed with how Colonial Gardens has turned out. I hope they continue to grow and do great things. These businesses have survived a pandemic in which most places are still trying to bounce back or have closed. Definitely a great place to support local businesses if you're in the area or at an event at Iroquois park. Two thumbs up on Colonial Gardens.

So they have rebuilt it into a venue that will be the home for a handful of new and exciting food establishments and pubs. They currently have a pizza joint called "union 15" and the rapidly growing Taco Luchador. Per the website they are expecting to add a breakfast restaurant called "biscuit belly". Which currently has one location in Nulu that is very popular and tasty. They have done an incredible job of adding unique artwork and designs while paying homage to the south end area. One of my favorite things (or will be) about this project is all the restaurants and pubs will share an open beer garden. Which is a really cool concept. Major kudos and props to the brains and designers of this project. I think it will have a huge positive impact on the south end of Louisville.

My 3rd born daughter was attending her first dance class across the road when we decided to explore the area. This freshly updated and nice library was open to 8pm so it made a perfect spot to to waste some time and have a bit of educational fun for me, my wife and other 3 daughters. Very spacious and well organized library. You walk In to a large area with computers and seating and the rest of the sections are around that area and clearly marked and separated making it easy to find your area. We had our younger ones with us so we found the adorably decorated young children's section in the very back corner and let the youngest play and look at books while we relaxed on the chairs. Overall nice library that offers everything from books, computer access, musical cd, dvd, blue rays and more. Very sleek and spacious and updated place. My daughter appeared to enjoy dance so this may become our hang out spot on days she has her practices.

It is of the newer model it moved from one part of Fairdale to another part more in the central part of town. It offers a wide variety of books movies cassettes and just an opportunity to go read and learn in private. I have taken my daughters here many times to play in to check out different books throughout the years. It is a privilege to enjoy time at the library and I'm often asking myself why I don't spend more…read moretime there. I had a two hour gap in my schedule so I took my laptop inside and grabbed a comfortable chair. One item that's lacking are available outlets. I'm sure there are a few places to plug in but I didn't find an obvious one near the chairs. The library has one side for younger visitors and readers, along with a small play area. The other side offers a teen area with comfy chairs and several computers. My teen games there periodically with friends after school. In between is a small selection of library books, both fiction and non, plus movie rentals. Workers sit at a couple of desks and I watched them help several visitors and callers. Bulletin boards share flyers for upcoming events. Great for work or reading; however, it's a smaller space so understand you're going to hear kids, conversations and more. If this activity would distract you, you might pick another library. Private parking lot. Very welcoming to nearby students - much appreciated when other businesses shut them out.

But, I love it! It has plenty to offer. True, there are no aisles and aisles of children's books so you can browse through them and pick what you like. But, if you want a particular book, you can request it from any branch and pick it up here. True, they might not host the polar express pj party, but they have regular story times, they host sticker parties and many more. Sure, it don't boast of huge play/activity areas but they have a cute little nook with the cutest ladder that the littles love to climb. They have book sales pretty regularly. The checkout is easy. There are computers you can use. I believe it has a meeting room too. The biggest advantage of this library is its location. When they closed it for around a year, the nearest library to the east end was the new Northeast. That's a good half hour drive from where we live. So, I'm really glad we have one right here in Middletown!

The process was easy as the…read moreDVDs were in alphabetical order and when I noticed it wasn't where the Zs were, a librarian told me she was pretty sure it was very recently returned. She showed me the DVDs that were recently returned but not quite put back and, sure enough, it was there. She also recommended a few other DVDs in a similar genre as the DVD i was checking out. I also picked up a couple of free paper books for kids that this library had available- my nieces loved them!

This is my home library and has been for almost 40 years. My husband used to take our daughter…read morethere 30+ years ago and encouraged her love of reading that she still has to this day. She actually volunteered there in middle school when she needed service hours and stayed on as a volunteer long after she had her required hours. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Since covid they have been so accommodating by bringing books to your car (that I order on line, they call to say they are available and pick up time scheduled). There are multiple programs available at the library, book clubs, kids programming, computer programming, etc). This is a great resources for our community. Love the summer reading program for children. Street parking.
