When the night shift came on around 7:00pm they were hostile and rude. The charge nurse came to me and said we need to move your mother to another floor,I asked several times "why" she wouldn't answer me,she just kept saying she needs to be moved. Finally I asked her if they needed the bed for someone else,she said "yes" flatly. I said my mom was in pain and she was dying. She then said" this young lady looks perfectly comfortable". This upset me because this was an 85 year old woman on her death bed. I said you're not moving her she's in pain and she's dying. She then said to me,"she doesn't need the equipment anymore. She also called security on me and said if I get in her way,security will escort me out. I tried to explain to security about the things she said to me about my mother and I was pointing at her and they yelled at me to put my hand down as if I would strike,which I would never do. I ran out of the hospital in tears and returned about 45 minutes later with my husband.security tried to start a fight with my husband then late apologized. The next day on the 3rd floor,I had to ask them to give my mother more pain medicine because she was crying out "help me". After the 3rd time and maybe 2 to 3 hours later they gave her more medicine. She died the next day. She was supposed to be comfortable because we were giving up the fight. I prayed for hours at my mother's bedside for God to give her peace because the hospital failed to do this. My mother was hospitalized a few times within the last year and she was tough to deal with because of her fear and dementia. If you do not have the patience or the heart to be kind to an old lady on her death bed,you shouldn't be in this field. This hospital was horrible and some of the workers in it,I couldn't help but feel they retaliated against her for her bad behavior. May God forgive them and have mercy on their souls.

Now you're just a place holder to try and keep them in the black. Which they are in the red as of last year. Now you are treated horribly like you dont matter. They give you t-shirts for so called zero safety hour accidents or whatever bullcrap they keep lying about. The numbers are never true bcus they report only what they want. They dont pay their bills on time. Quality of the material sucks anymore. They care more abt money than the product actually being good enough for the intended patients. The employee appreciation day is a joke. Half ass food, mainly for the kids, drawing for gifts rarely goes to an hourly employee lower than assitant supervisor, no real recognition of thanking the employees. Instead of wasting money for this crap day. They should give everyone a bonus by seperate check. That would mean a lot more. Used to be the best paying job in the area, now its like 3rd on the list. If they dont change there will be a huge layoff if not shut the doors.
