"I don't understand, a Meatball Sub is supposed to have Mozzarella ain't it? It is Italian Cheese... But you're charging me extra for it?" He explained to me that other cheese they have doesn't cost extra and he rattled off a list of other cheeses. I calmly explained that "None of those belong on a meatball sub." The kid then goes into a spill about how he can't change the prices in the register, blah, blah and politely yet somewhat forcibly insists that I just pay the up charge. " I don't want it." I walked out, back to Milano's, to try again. (See my review.) In this kids defense he is young, trying to work, probably his first job and he was polite. Apparently he's just not empowered to take care of customers. This is a management problem that should be addressed. "Bait and switch" is illegal. I charge this is clearly what happened to me. The real reason to go is the warm environment. I've noticed that more and more people hang out for a bit after making a purchase. Of course, the drinks are also excellent.
