I have been to this market several times now & the experience has always been amazing. The meat is fresh, everything is clean & the clerks are friendly & helpful. We have done both special cuts & several of their combo-packs. All have been great, that includes all of it, beef, pork, poultry, seafood & deli. The deli part carries Boarshead products & that in my opinion is the best! They carry really good seasoning products. Wow.....just wow!! This market has what I would call Top Notch Customer Service. The meat purchased was 2nd to none but the customer service is was what stood out to me the most. Walking in, we were greeted with big smiles and a warm hello. There was one other customer in the shop being helped. While looking at the list of available meats on the chalk board, the lady that helped us was the nicest person I've met in a long time. I didn't feel rushed at all. She said "let me know if you have any questions". I said "will do....thank you". While trying to make a decision, she also pointed out that there was a fold out "menu" next to the register. As I'm looking at that, she also pointed out the sample area, which consisted of their meats to taste. This woman was golden. She explained everything without being pushy. She wanted to make sure we had a clear understanding of what this shop had to offer and I'm glad she did. She left no stone unturned. Giving complete and concise details of EVERYING in the shop we had had questions about. You could tell that she's been there for a while based on her knowledge. After a couple of samples, we were sold and had to purchase a few things. (P.S. well done with the samples.....It was a brilliant idea) Now that the decision was made on a pair of different links, a few ribeye's and a couple salmon fillet's we're good to go. After we paid for the good stuff, the lady that helped up then walked us to our vehicle. We talked all the way to the Jeep. She then mentioned that she had a Jeep as well and the conversation continued for a few more minutes. This is how you get return customers. A lot of larger companies should a take a page from Country Meat Market's approach to customer service. If I'm ever in the area again, I will GLADLY spend my money here. Not only because the meats were great but because I don't mind spending money where I'm treated like a regular despite being a first time customer. Im speechless....please don't ever change. Found this gem via yelp. The humans who work here are some of the nicest I have ever experienced in a store setting. The meat is incredible. Great selection of anything to fulfill your meat, poultry or seafood desires!! Even the manager engaged with me. It was like I was amongst friends. This is a nice store with very good meat. They also carry seafood, pork, sausages and have a tent with fresh veggies. I would go more often if it were closer to me. They also manage to hire the friendliest staff. They always have goodies to try. Today they had a bacon jam which was heavenly and would make the best meat glaze. From deep sea fishing for the perfect wahoo to traveling across borders to specialty farmers, we are constantly in search of a perfect meat. I had my deer processed here a couple days after the opening day of deer season 2015 and let me tell you. that not only was the customer service amazing. They were fast! I had my meat back within a couple of days and everything turn out good. the cuts were exactly like I wanted. The party sausage turned out great. I've known Steve Morriss through the entertainment business in Nashville for many years and have heard him rave about the Country Meat Market for as long. My reaction was kind of like, "yeah, yeah Steve, can it really be THAT good?" My wife and I are here to tell you, it's way better than anything Steve said! We're not big steak eaters, but the filets (which I grilled like Steve said) were fork-tender and beyond delicious. We also ordered some fish, chicken and hamburger. My wife took one bite of her burger, dropped her head, shook it side to side and said simply, "this is so good." The chicken far superior to anything in the grocery store here, and the fish tasted like it was caught this morning. We're not only customers for life, we're shouting it to the world! read more

I would give this place an excellent rating for their meats and processing. Their ribeyes are excellent. They are very friendly and great people. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for and it is well worth it. I will say, DO NOT get their cooked ribs. We tried 11 dollars worth of their ribs yesterday and I hate to say it, but they were the worst ribs I have ever eaten. Actually did not eat them. They went to trash. Don't let this stop you from going in and getting stuff, just don't get the cooked ribs. read more

We decided to stop by here to try and find a decent sized roast to slice up for jerky. That was our initial reason for stopping. Next thing I knew, the very friendly staff was emptying out their cooler to show us the array of fresh cut meats they have. They were eager to show us everything. They treated their establishment and their products like a proud parent treats their child. We bought more than just the roast, which they sliced for us. They even had bones to buy for our dogs. I've already fried up the pork cutlets, and they were the best I'd ever had. Tom walked us to our car with our bag and was very outgoing and courteous. It felt as though we had stepped back in time to a small town butcher shop where no one knows a stranger. Very welcoming staff, eager to assist, and the product is outstanding. As a beef fan I had the opportunity to try a tenderloin from this market and it was the best Ive tasted in 25 years .
