I first went to Dr. Assadoghli in December 2024 to get my teeth cleaned. I have never had issues with my teeth, other than some mild gum recession that is common with age. No cavities. I brush and floss regularly and am a generally compliant patient. At my first visit, Dr. Assadoghli tried to upsell me on a deep cleaning and prescription mouthwash due to having some bacteria pockets in my gums. Eventually we settled on them giving my teeth a regular cleaning that day. She recommended that I brush with Arm and Hammer peroxide toothpaste, rinse with a hydrogen peroxide solution, and floss twice per day. I have been doing that for the last 6.5 months. Went back for my 6 month check up and cleaning last week. The first thing she did- without even looking in my mouth to see what was happening and without asking me if I had pain, blood when flossing, or any other issues (I don't because I've been religious about following the routine) -is tell me that she thinks I need a deep cleaning (not covered by insurance). She said that she will not treat me (I assume that means do an exam or regular cleaning) if I don't agree to the deep cleaning. She tells me that I can get a second opinion (how she even had an opinion without looking in my mouth to see the current conditions in beyond me). I told her I was going somewhere else and I left. She then proceeds to bill my insurance when no exam or services were provided. We had a conversation that lasted about 2 minutes and I left. I think her billing my insurance is retaliation for me not letting her bully me into services that I most likely didn't need. It's unacceptable and questionable behavior at best. I have reported her behavior to my insurance company because her filing a claim for services not provided may mean that I can't get my teeth cleaned for another 6 months. I definitely do not recommend this dentist. If I could give her zero stars, I would. read more

No stars... I had a terrible experience earlier this year going there for the first time. They charged me $1000 out of pocket of work that they said I needed. They said they needed to fill a cavity and ended up shaving my tooth down to a nub and tried to put a crown on it but the crown only lasted a couple months and fell off because there was nothing for it to hold on to and it was digging into my gums. I had a lot of pain after the procedure and eventually the crown fell off soon after. I went to another dentist for 2nd opinion and they said only solution is to completely pull the tooth and they F'd it up. I am so angry. Plus I think they were training someone for the first time to do the procedure and they left her alone with me and I think she messed it up because she didn't know what she was doing. If I could have left mid procedure I would have. It seemed like something wasn't right. I demanded a refund. You know things are messed up when you call the office and part of the phone tree is "if you are calling about a refund press. 2" ! I advise you not to go to this clinic! read more

I was suggested to this office after both myself and my old dentist out of a Smile Generation office in Arvada moved away. To this place's credit, the front desk was a sweetheart and very accommodating. However, I had a very bad experience with "Dr. Ace" (Arace Assadoghli). First, it took over an hour for her to actually come into my exam room and she rushed through the new patient questions (which I had already answered online and with the hygienist anyway) and was talking over me and down to me. Then, she never even looked in my mouth and was already slamming me with how badly I "needed" $400 treatment plan from her every 3 months or I'd have a stroke in her chair because of my "oral fitness test," based on swirling and spitting some liquid into a cup. Previous dentists I've seen ALWAYS use a depth probe and check every single gum for recession. I had some concerns, basically that my insurance wouldn't cover this and questioning why my old dentist who'd I'd just seen 6 months ago didn't have any these concerns, what would be causing this so suddenly. I had even told them in my pre-questionnaire that my gums did NOT bleed and I had no discomfort, she had nothing to say about my actual teeth. She acted annoyed that I'd DARE to ask. Then after stabbing the gums repeatedly during a "necessary deep cleaning" she was like "now your gums won't bleed anymore after MY protocol." They never did bleed before! Her entire attitude was rushed, haughty, condescending and pushy-salesman. I went on after that and researched what she was suggesting (prescriptions, expensive quadrupling of annual appointments) and found a lot of people saying it was implicated in enamel weakening and causing thrush. How convenient...create a bunch of problems, so you can charge a ton to "solve" them. I will be finding another dentist immediately. read more

I have been with Broomfield Modern Dentistry for a very long time. They have gone through an alarming amount of turnover and I have seen the quality of their care/operations decline. there has been an increase of red flags during my last few visits. Forcefully, I decided to draw the line during my most recent visit. At that appointment, I was told that I have the beginnings of periodontal disease. The dentist reported 4 and 5mm pocket measurements during the checkup. It was recommended to proceed with an $800 deep cleaning and $$ special cleanings every 3 months, indefinitely. This was told to me about two hours after seeing their Periodontist for an unrelated reason. The Periodontist took a look at my overall dental condition and determined good home care with no problems identified. My gums are not puffy and they do not bleed during flossing or brushing. Hmmmmmmmm???????? After the obvious red flag, waiting over four hours for 30 minutes of treatment, and seeing an alarming amount of operations dysfunction, I decided to seek a second opinion and hopefully change dentists. At the consultation with the new dentist, I was told my overall dental health was good. That dentist was able to show me pocket measurements using a live camera. I got to physically see how incorrect Broomfield Modern Dentistry was! My actual pocket measurements are in-fact 2 to 3mm!!!! How can there be such a large discrepancy? The new dental team was very professional, organized and timely. They showed me how to care better for a specific problem. They also made sure to explain every detail and purpose of the appointment. Overall, I sensed that they are patient focused and don't need to worry about the bottom line. Quality care provides enough referrals to cover the business end. This is why they are a 5-star team. Obviously, I am appalled by Broomfield Modern Dentistry. There is a clear management issue and the staff is spread thin. Management is focused on the bottom line and could care less about the patients. I do not recommend them and agree with most of the bad reviews on Yelp. Save yourself the time and money. Make sure to go to a team that knows what they are doing. Mistakes happen, turnover happens, but if you feel that something is off, leave! I stayed at Broomfield Modern for way too long. read more

If you value your life, please seek out another dentist!!! I am posting this to protect others from the same fate or worse. D.O.R.A. Is being notified, in order to protect others. On June 9, 2021, I was taken to the hospital by ambulance. I suffered two seizures in the office, The first seizure was within minutes of being injected with lidocaine. Panic set in amongst the staff members, Because of the lack of training, In an emergency situation. I was never provided an antidote, Because they didn't realize What was happening??? The seizures were brought on by the lidocaine,Probably being injected too fast. The second seizure was as I was After I paid my bill and was getting to ready leave and go home. 4 teeth being removed were root canal teeth. I had no pain, And I didn't even take as much as an aspirin after all teeth removed for seven days post op. No discussion of risk factor ever mentioned, it was part of the electronics signatures. I questioned as I was signing the electronic documents of what I was signing and I was told everything is in their app which I could not access in the moment. I was told five minutes before going in that the oral surgeon performing my procedure only works there one day a month, And he doesn't work for the office, He is an independent. Management apologized and refunded my money. I pulled my records and realized they recorded nothing in the notes in my records regarding what took place in the office. The fact that I suffered not one, but two seizures, In their office, And that is why the ambulance was called. The fact that I was hooked up to a heart machine, oxygen and a pulse meter, in office. The fact that, they called friend twice, speaking with her both times and she was 45 minutes away, she recommended to call 911 and they were demanding her to come and get me. The fact that, I called 911 on my phone because of the confusion amongst the staff members. This act Of falsifying my medical records intentionally to prevent a malpractice lawsuit. The biggest concerning factor is how many other people has this happen too with GRANT STUCKI, DDS, MS. Of Colorado. I am 53 years old, I have had over $30,000 worth of dental work done in my lifetime without any complications ever, until June 9, 2021! I am dealing with neurological problems, Since June 9, 2021, And if you value your health you will not go here!!! read more

I actually had a completely different experience than a few of the reviews. I am so thankful for this office! I had gone to another dentist that morning. I am a mom of two young kids and so I have very little time where they are not with me; my husband had taken time off so I get get the dental work done that I needed. The first office told me I had 7 cavities and needed a root canal on another tooth and then sent me home, refusing to fix any of it that day. I called Broomfield Modern Dentistry and they got me in within 45 minutes. The Dr. completed a full exam (which the other doctor hadn't) and she told me that there was actually only one tooth with a cavity, and that it didn't need a root canal, just a filling. Then she explained that the sensitivity that I was having in my other teeth was from me clenching. Then, she proceeded to fix it immediately for me. I also loved how they showed me the cost breakdown. Before moving any further they showed me a full breakdown of what my insurance would cover and what my cost would be. They showed me what was necessary and what was extra but would be beneficial. Nothing surprising and super straight forward. I'm so thankful for them. We will definitely be using this office going forward. read more

I had to leave a dental practice I really loved due to a change in insurance, and I started with Broomfield Modern Dentistry because it was close by and convenient. During my first visit for a crown, the dentist told me she needed to step away for a moment to check on something and did not return for a solid 20 minutes while I waited in the chair. When she returned, no apology or explanation was given of why she was gone for so long. During another visit for a cleaning, I was sitting in the waiting room and there were two women receptionists working at the front desk. One of them took a call and when she hung up, started complaining out loud to her coworker about how annoying that patient was, when I was sitting just feet away and could hear everything they were saying. Extremely unprofessional. Finally, I have had a couple conversations with a male receptionist who works there, who has come off both times as very rude and impatient while talking with me. I just recently called to check and see if they could resend my charts/X-rays over to another dentist (since thankfully, with another new insurance change I was able to return to my previous dentist), and the guy I spoke to was very short with me, said he had already sent them over three times, and when I politely requested that he give this other dentist a call to work it out between them, he basically told me that it was not at the top of his to-do list and would try get to it "at some point." Very disappointed with the professionalism of this practice and will not be returning, nor recommending them to anyone else. This is a review after 2 years at this dentist. I wanted to be fair and waited until I found a new dentist to compare and contrast. It isn't like going to the Dentist is a fun experience for anyone (unless you're a masochist?) If you like being nickel and dime'd while you're in the chair this is the place to go. Its like going to a car dealership once you get into the sales office they try to upsell you on a bunch of stuff of questionable use. They will try to sell you on a cancer screening (how can you say no to that?), but if you went to another dentist they do that as part of a normal checkup. no extra charge (and btw this was not covered by insurance). They also tried to sell me on replacing my silver fillings with tooth colored ones on my back teeth. You can't even see the fillings unless someone is looking inside directly, so its not really even cosmetic. They tried to make it sound like they were going to immediately fail on me. I got a second opinion and this was total BS. It basically comes down to this office pushes people hard to buy services for the sake of sales, not the sake of medical necessity. I don't like having to sort between what is needed and what is not while i'm laying back in a dentist chair being poked and prodded. Treat me like an adult and tell me what I actually need to have a healthy mouth and nothing more. I went here for about a year and decided enough was enough with the hard sales and the dentist being kind of a jerk. I've since moved to a different practice and could not be happier. The worst dentistry. Marzieh Shafie did a three hours procedure on my teeth in November 2021 and she broke my jaw. I asked to be gentle and have mercy twice but she butchered me. **4 different crown tips 4 re cements in 3 years same tooth same Company/ location different staff members.** First was talked into a crown on a very small barely noticeable chip on my tooth. the procedure was to take 2 hours it took 6 hours. Had to come back 5 times within two weeks because of the high tooth irritation that kept me up all night. I was able to get this resolved and walked away wishing I never went through this experience again. 1 year later my crown fell out when eating pasta salad, went in and had the office re cement it back on, different doctor at the place did this. two weeks after that I was eating and apple and the crown cracked in half. I then went back into the practice and had a different Dentist DrAndrew Abdelnour with assistant Rebecca, they re measured me for a new crown and performed work for the new crown job. (this was done free of charge ) 8 months later crown fell off again, Went in for help, was charged for a new crown because when the crown popped off i didn't notice on my crunch down with my bite and chipped a little of the crown side. (supposed to have 5 year warranty but needed the work done so I forked over the money) had the whole procedure done all over again. Different Doctor performed the work. 10 months later crown falls off again, went into establishment and had them re cement it back on. (assistant cements crown on). two weeks after re cementing the crown falls off again, I go back in and they make me a new crown. (assistant cements crown on) three days later my crown falls off again. Process re cement.... and here we go. Take what you can from my lesson. I read more

So, I've been a patient patient (very patient!) at this office for 9 years now. Through all the staff changes. This office certainly has had its share of challenges. And. I've always gotten quality work here. I love the technology used (CEREC -same day crowns and inlays), and they have been reasonably priced, working with my insurances, offering coupons and discounts. You will get quality work done here. Staff, although different almost every time I've been here, have been helpful, kind. Apparently there is finally an owner for this office, so I hope things will stabilize in terms of staff. The network of offices that this office is part of made it easy for me to see an endodontist at another office at a sooner date recently. That is a major bonus! The current owner and dentist recently did a crown (I've had a few done at this office now - each done by an entirely different staff). The process was fast but sort of clunky (too much pressure on my gums with suctioning tools by the assistant and the dentist kept pinning my opposite cheek between her hand and my teeth with too much pressure to stabilize her hand - which I've never experienced before). Also, they used something to block my cheek from the work site, but it shredded my gums up above the tooth - again, a first, after 9 years. The crown fit well immediately, and this particular tooth was a complicated one. Overall, my most recent experience was fine (I'm generally very chill about the dentist), but I wouldn't recommend this particular dentist for someone who needs a soothing/comforting bedside manner or a gentle, skillful, experienced touch. Also, I plan for DOUBLE the reasonable amount of time at this office. There is always a different reason for epic delays and slowness. Not sure if that is every dental office or just this one. I've hung in there for 9 years with this office, and I think I'm finally ready to change to a different office in this network. Everything about my experience as a patient where I got my endo work done was way better! I want this little office to succeed. Maybe with some stability, and more experience for this current dentist things will improve. read more

Get this Dentist's hands in your mouth for a better than usual time at the dentist's office. I'm not going to lie to you; I hate going to the dentist. Nothing about the experience is nice for me. That opinion has changed coming here. The staff are really kind, but, why I'm writing this review is because of the Dentist, Kyle. Today I had my very first filling. Sure. I was nervous. Who wouldn't be? Halloween images of my dentist pulling all of my teeth out danced in my head..... But this isn't what happened. Dr. Kyle read the situation perfectly and could tell that I needed a little bit more moral support. He had me laughing all the way through the procedure. I barely noticed....barely. It was the first time, in a really long time, that I felt like a Dentist actually took the time to engage in patient care. So often dental patients feel like cattle. And,most of his staff are just as amiable. So, if you want a dentist that will have you quickly forgetting about the two sets of hands and about 8 drills and suction hoses in your mouth, go here. Meet a genuinely personable Dentist. He even got me to floss more......no one had been able to convince me to do that....not even my mother.....So, maybe what I'm trying to say is that Dr. Kyle is so good, he might be even better than my mother..... :)! read more

So done with this place. First they scheduled me for the wrong appointment and didn't cancel until an hour before the appointment. Did not reschedule me or even try to reschedule me. I had to call in again and reschedule my appointment. All they want to do is add on as much procedures as possible to get as much money out of you as possible and do not explain at all why you need these extra procedures. i am supposed to get two free cleanings a year but I got charged for my cleaning and no one could explain to me how the cleaning was different then any other one I've gotten and why it was more. I asked for a call from the doctor or hygienist to explain it and never got one. Always charge you for 'oral hygiene instructions' even though they never talk to you about preventive care or talk to you at all about your teeth for that matter. It was professional yet personable and really made me feel like I never left my dentist in Texas. If you are on the edge about switching/coming in, you should have this location as your top priority! April of 2018 was the last straw. My husband and I both switched to a more traditional, established dentist in Mountain View. No more rude front desk staff, different dentist every 4 months or so, cancelling/rescheduling appointments without notifying us, and most of all, no more trying to crown every tooth in my mouth so they can make money. read more

First time patient: I had never been to this office before and I called in last week and set up an appointment for this morning. When I arrived today there was no one at the front desk. Finally, after 5 minutes goes by, a guy came to the front and said his name was Joshua and his attitude, when he saw I was an African American male, was very condescending, rude and racist in nature. when I asked him questions about my insurance information that was listed in their system. I brought it to his attention that he was being condescending, rude and defensive to my questions, he just stared at me. I finally said please cancel my appointment because there is no way I would patronize a dental office that obviously practiced full blown "Racism". I asked to speak to the Dentist "Marzieh Shafie " and she stated to me that she trust Joshua's action and condone the way he spoke to me and his treatment of me and there is nothing she can do. I would ask any African American to steer clear of this Dental office due to they way I was treated as an African American! It's sad to see this problem is still prevalent in 2022. read more

I've given this clinic another shot and quickly found out that there was a change in office management which accounted for the months of discrepancies and billing problems I'd experienced. The new staff was eager to get it all fixed and to bring me quality service. Last visit to the dentist was fantastic. I met the new dentists running the practice. They had my replacement Cerec crown ready, fitted, and I was out the door in about an hour. You really can't beat that anywhere. I came back to get a better fit on the crown and as a free bonus, they polished my teeth at no additional charge. Awesome customer servicing, well above and beyond. Oh, another thing - if you're one of those people who is avoiding getting certain dental work due to fears of mercury toxicity, you'll want to know this. You're safe getting even root canals here. They're using natural rubber in the root canals, no amalgam, so you can relax. :) read more

Megan and Christine at the front desk were amazing both times I've gone in. I made an appointment for jaw pain and come to find out, I needed my wisdom teeth extracted. Within the next week, I had my teeth & gums specially cleaned and my wisdom teeth taken out. I can not recall the dental assistant who got me all checked in and calm, but for only being in the business for a short period of time, her attitude and grace was nothing short of amazing. Scott was an amazing oral surgeon who took his time to explain everything thoroughly to my sister and I. He made me feel 100% comfortable as this was my first experience with any type of surgery. Scott even called to check up and see how I was feeling. Home now, resting and healing perfect. An amazing establishment. Amazing staff. A place I will always recommend. Took about 30 minutes to do x-rays, the equipment was broken and the tech had no idea what she was doing. I then waited for an hour before the dentist saw me. She was nice and also gentle but the cleaning didn't seem as thorough as I'm used to. I was told I had a couple cavities, the cost given didn't match my insurance schedule. I've spent a month calling trying to get answers. They won't answer, when they do they aren't the right person, and the right person never calls back. read more

Horrible experience here! I went for the second time to find there was a different dentist. He basically told me that since I had not listened to them and hadn't come back more often that my teeth were in horrible condition. They wouldn't schedule me for a cleaning but told me I needed a deep cleaning for $800... During my exam he jammed the probe so hard under my guns causing way more bleeding than normal then said the bleeding was a sign of gum disease, the numbers he read for my teeth were mostly 4 and he was very rude. Tonight I went to a much better place, my chart read as mostly 2 and 3, the dentist said my teeth looked good and I just need a standard leaning. The new dentist had a Mich better bedside manner, there was virtually no bleeding on my exam and he couldn't believe what I had been told here. I do NOT recommend you go here! read more

I started going there about 3 months ago and in that time I have seen 3 different dentist. This was so they could still serve patients while they waited for the new dentist to come aboard. I have had the BEST experience with the staff there. I am a nervous dental patient (i have had some bad experience in the past) they are so kind, patient and understanding. They really went above and beyond to take care of my crown that I needed. The new dentist is fanatisic and the staff is out of this world including the Opertaions Manager and both Dental Assist that worked on my crown . I can't remember names ;( I highly reccommend them!. I've been here twice for my 6 month cleaning. Second time was like entering a a different place. They had totally different staff members. The only thing that was the same was the place!!!! My 6 month cleaning took 15 minutes and I had to wait for an HOUR! They walked me into the room and left me there for an hour! Went here for a same day crown. Granted, it's only day one, but I will say that the staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable dentist. Minimal pain, in and out in 2 hours! Pricing was below what I normally had paid for a crown in the past. Dr. Michael Ornelas spent time explaining his work, how same day crowns work and kept me informed during the whole procedure. My experience with Broomfield Modern Dentistry has been amazing. From Dr. Richter to Katie to Devin, they are all fabulous. They are all very experienced, patient, and just great. ahhh.. redemption!! my last experience in a dental office was less than ideal (see review), so i was a bit nervous about picking a new place out of the local list. come appointment time, i walked in slowly and skeptically .. ready to scrutinize and possibly run. well, my fears were for nothing. "broomfield modern dentistry" was great. friendly, clean, high-tech, gentle, thorough, attentive .. oh, and let's not forget "modern" - afterall, "modern" is in the title, and rightfully so. this place was completely state of the art. all x-rays and paperwork done digitally. and i didn't have that feeling as though i were walking into an 80's time warp with archaic equipment and tacky decor .. rather, the atmosphere resembled more of a warm and welcoming spacecraft (well, maybe not spacecraft, but you get the idea). i felt respected and listened to. i also appreciated the simple fact that upon entering the establishment i was greeted (immediately) by a friendly face, more than likely the same woman who called me the day prior to verify my insurance ahead of time. good customer service. i plan to stick with this dental office and have already booked my next appointment. 4.5 stars. read more

I would not take my dog there. After a plan change, my wife and I chose this place. What a mistake! They started working on my wife and did 4K in unnecessary (nice to have) work not covered by our insurance.. and never finished the work! When a crown broke off I went in to see them to have a extraction and bridge. They insisted I needed a bone graft to do the bride for 3500.00 total. I insisted I did not want a bone graft and thats when things got ugly. Unless you agree to sit down, shut up and let them rip you off they don;t want to treat you. I switched to Perfect teeth, had the same work done for 1/2 the price and will not recommend these thieves to anyone... including Rover. AVOID! AVOID! read more

After drilling for an hour the dentist let me know that the cavity was bigger then he thought and that I needed a crown ( my tooth was pretty much half gone at this point) Even though I was confused how a minor cavity could turn into needing a crown, I agreed to the work... (what other option did I have at this point?) Since having the work done, the crown has popped off 3 times over the course of 5 years. Most recently after the crown popped off eating a gusher, they charged me $35 dollars+billed my insurance for a higher amount to temporarily re-cement the crown back on. During this appointment I was told I needed a different build up so the crown would stay on and intact. I agreed with this assessment but was told I needed to pay for the re-build. After debating my case with the office manager, she agreed that the work should be done free of charge and confirmed the appointment. The day I was supposed to have the work done I showed up for my 9am appointment. The office manager greeted me promptly but immediately let me know that she would actually need me to pay for the rebuild. She said that the office was now owned by a different dentist and that because I did not go in for a cleaning they could not stand behind the work. What an absolute joke of a business. If you are thinking about giving your business to Broomfield Modern Dentistry be aware of what you are getting into, they complete work that is unnecessary, poor quality of work and terrible customer service. 5 years later I still can't chew on that side of my mouth in fear that the crown will pop off. I don't know where you find your dentists, but I've left your facility twice. And the third time will be the charm. My first episode was when I had a partial plate made. I was to pick it up a few days prior to my vacation in Florida (visiting friends and family). Your company fired the dentist and he either took my plate or threw it away. So I had to go on vacation with 5 missing teeth. The second episode was this past year. I was in for a check up and the dentist was "checking" my teeth. He practically pulled out one of my teeth and tried very hard to lift my large filling. Ironically, this is one of the two teeth I now need work done. He is now gone, so I came back one more time. I was told I would need to be off my osteoporosis meds for one month by the office prior to having two wisdom teeth pulled. I met with the surgeon yesterday. First of all he told me every story three time. "Hi, my name is Dr. (so and so?). Scott Soandso, I go by Scott, you can call me Scott (3 times). Then he told me if I fall and break my hip I have a 50-50 chance of survival (I have a high risk of breaking my hip), thank you very much (3 times). Then he told me if he removes the teeth, I would have to be off the osteoporosis meds for 4 months (previously told 1 - have been on the meds 5 months). He also told me I have a 1 in 1000 (then said 1 in 2000, and also 1 in 3000) chance of having complications that they would need to saw off the jaw and replace parts of the jaw with parts from my leg that would take 6 months to heal and would have to be off the osteoporosis meds for the entire time and 2 months after I have healed. Then he said he would not remove the teeth. But later said he would if I was off the meds 4 months prior. He went over all this 3 times as well. Very unprofessional. You might want to screen whoever you hire more carefully in the future. Love the office staff, but the dentists are awful. read more
