I'd like to share it with the public becuase no one deserves to be treated this way and unsurprsingly, other yelpers feel the same way. I really suggest corrective action to be taken, not just for my father but also for the safety of others *** " Dear Sir/Madame, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a disturbing incident involving one of the parking lot security employees at the Costco Business Center located at 13225 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683 on Wednesday, October 3, 2024, around 3:30 PM. My family and I have been loyal customers of this Costco for over 20 years, but we have never experienced anything as distressing as what occurred that day. My name is O.Nguyen, and I am a senior citizen, 62 years old. While shopping at this location, I was patiently waiting for a customer leaving for a parking spot when a Brosnan security guard aggressively tailgated my vehicle and honked several times, pressuring me to move forward. I informed him that I was waiting for this customer to vacate the spot by pointing to the car. Despite this, the security guard exited his truck, approached my car in a highly confrontational manner, and stood uncomfortably close to my window leaving about only 5 inches between him and me, while shouting at me to move. His behavior became increasingly aggressive, and he repeatedly pointed his finger at my face while loudly asking, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING?" This guard not only invaded my personal space but also continued to shout and berate me in front of other customers. Due to his tailgating, the situation was further escalated because the customer I had been waiting for was unable to back out, creating additional issues for both me and the other driver. His aggressive actions left me feeling scared, anxious, and vulnerable, especially as I have a medical history that includes high blood pressure. This sort of treatment caused my blood pressure to spike. We have recorded every conversation and have undeniable proof of his mistreatment that day. I am fully aware of my rights under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, including the right to peacefully wait for an available parking space without blocking traffic. Had a security guard at Walmart following me everywhere I went. Even as I watched a girl ten feet from me shoving stuff in her bag, he's standing an aisle over from me peeking around even as I'm just watching him in the mirror. I'm not kidding this girl was ACTUALLY doing shady stuff and he couldn't care less. I thought it was amusing so I walked over the whole store always with him one aisle over lol. I talked to Walmart manager and typical, nothing happened because he did the same thing two more times. What a joke. The best part is the same girl he was ignoring as she stole walked out arm in arm with him as he helped her take her items to her bicycle outside. lol read more

Pierce secured the role of 007, and similarly Brosnan works a little too hard in trying to secure Walmart parking lots. This guy was way overefficient in the parking lot of a Walmart I go to. He came over to me and told me to move (as he has done on about 5 other occasions, when picking up Barbie curbside in her heels), when there was really nothing wrong with where I was stopped, and usually when she was already halfway getting in. This last time, he followed me around a couple of times. I see him following other people around. I've seen him in a loud, angry altercation with other customers on a few occasions. I understand wanting to do a good job but it's a little bit overkill and most of the Brosnan Security in other locations don't really take the time to go around and harass people like that so, low rating. read more

I applied, interviewed, was offered and accepted a position in Topeka Kansas. That was more than a month ago. So far all my calls have gone to voice mail. I haven't heard back from the area manager or her supervisor as to whether I have a job or not. Wondering what time line I should give them before I give up. As a site supervisor in Pueblo Colorado. I have never experienced such poor management in the security field. Management ( matt) yelled at a 45 year old veteran for being in the restroom for 16 minutes. Lack of knowledge and skill in the field is huge from the leadership. Payroll is a mess. Hr is way out. Walmart is scraping the bottom of the barrel with Brosnan. Their sites are dangerous to unarmed guards. read more

Mr. Christopher Robertson the operation manager conducted a 2 minute interview on me today only to deny me a post because my prescription glasses are tinted. I simply asked if Mr. Robertson could he show me where was that stated in the policy or on paper and he ended my interview. Mr. Robertson also continued to be rude to me as I was leaving but still asking questions about my glasses and asked me to leave in a nice but rude , disrespectful, bullying type of way. Mr. Robertson demonstrated discrimination toward my glasses and I also felt like because of my race and physical appearance. I currently work for Brosnan as a Site Supervisor and I couldn't be more proud and grateful to work for this company! Here on these west coast we are all a family, we work together from the Regional VP all the way down to the officers. Everyone is made to feel like they matter and they are heard and respected. I can't imagine working for a better Security Company because I don't believe that one exists! I am forever grateful to Mica, Tim and Fred for everything that they do to make sure each and every officer, no matter their title, are taken care of! read more

Really nice to know that they people of Brosnan Security have no respect for the NO PARKING that they clear drove over to park on, nevrrmind that it's a space left open for handicapped people to be able to get in and out in their wheelchairs. I wish I could give negative stars for this company and the people they employ. Today at the Benton Harbor, MI Walmart a Supervisor of this company boldly parked in the last handicap spot in the entire parking lot. I am disabled and saw no handicap placard or symbol on her license plate. I rolled down my window and asked if she was leaving, she said no. I asked if she had a handicap placard, she said no. I then informed her she just took the last handicap spot and I needed it, as I showed her my handicap placard. She just walked away. I then got out of my car and again asked her to move that I needed that spot as I stood there with my cane. She said, " I need to clock in. I'll be back".The SUPERVISOR OF THIS COMPANY. When I did finally get a spot and in the store almost 5 minutes later she was boasting about this to another employee because he knew all the details and proceeded to tell me to calm down. I asked to speak to her supervisor, which both of them decided this was more reason to argue about the situation and I should have just accepted her taking the LAST HANDICAP SPACE WITH NO HANDICAP PLACARD. She did speak to her boss, I assume because she confessed she did park in the handicap spot and no she has no placard. Then she hangs up and says, " My manager doesn't speak to customers" WHAT??!!?? Again she tried to just say accept what I did and tried to dismiss me. I called the 800# for this company and was directed to the appropriate person and of course got voicemail and left a message...AND NO CALL BACK. I know someone who works for this company and has not been there that long at his current post. But he only gets one day off if lucky and has to pull doubles due to the lack of officers that they have. They are not a greta company to work for at all. They don't care if someone in your immediate family is dying and you need to be there they will suspend you just for the one day that you need off. This company is a flat out joke and I don't recommend anyone working for this company at no matter where you are. read more

Horrible company to work for! I worked there for almost a year as the field supervisor and never had one day off. I went through three managers and the last one didn't like me so she did away with my job and didn't even offer me another position. Most officers only get one day off a week. They will let you go in the drop of a hat. I do not recommend any position with this company. read more

This security company hires low quality officers and there is no supervision as a customer at hammer lane Walmart in Stockton Ca I tried to find a officer to ask a question and all I see is two officer cup caking in the parking lot together on Monday afternoon! How uncomfortable and awkward I didn't bother asking I just went to the other Walmart on trinity. I have seen these same two officers before a guy and girl on the afternoon shift way to comfortable with one another they seen not professional.Do not hire this company for your business, they do not hire quality officers and it is a disgrace to the security industry. Working for Brosnan Risk Consultants is one company that starts off good, but ends bad. They play a great game at first. Then they don't up hold what they say they will do. At least here in the New Orleans, La area. The office manager is disorganized, clueless, and says one thing but does another. Office manager is a Last Minute Man. Waits until the last minute to do something or to inform you that they lost a cantract. Does not know the areas of the city, due to not being from here. So office manager will tell you that a Tourist put of the city is more dangerouse than the no man's land east part of the city. Will not schedule you 40 hours a week, say there's no pto time, but say there is. Can't keep the equipment working, such as the company's truck. They are 2018 and 2019 Ram Hemi 1500 trucks, but can't keep them running. Either flat tires are no oil change when needed. These truck Idle 24/7, which is something that these truck is not meant to do. So they need oil changes more times. They need two batteries, but only have one to run the truck, lights, and cameras, therefor the battery dies within 4 months. If the equipment that you use for doing your job does not work, then you Can Not Do the Job at Your 100%. Office management will not fix it until you have to go to upper personal (their boss). But if you do this too many times, then management will hunt for a reason to remove you from the company. Management will dictate what and how to do a job and not show you. The management and supervisors personnel does not lead by example. Thought since this company was from New York and own by someone who was in law enforcement it would be a much better company to work for but, NOT. Or my standards are too high for this company also. This company is very unprofessional and inexperienced. I advise anyone who wish to pursue a career in security to not make this their first decision. Tara KilKenny, who's head of the payroll department knows nothing about payroll, and the "TriNet" system they used is 100% inaccurate. This company claims to offer full time hours, yet you'll find yourself working no more than as a part timer. When I took this job, what I had envisioned for myself was that I have finally found a company that fits perfectly with my experience in security, unfortunately, it's sad to say that I was wrong. I do not recommend anyone to work here, now I see why my friend left. My new job is far much better, and even though this company is paying $16/hour, you will not get the satisfaction that you are entitled to. Has ghetto, dangerous, unprofessional & disrespectful people working for them. I was driving behind the security truck at a Walmart located in Spanaway, WA, when he stopped for no reason. It appeared that he was on some kind of electric device so i just went around the truck so i can find parking. He didn't like that so he followed me with rage all the way to the parking space that i pulled into. He started using the F*** word so we exchanged words after that my family & i walked away to do our grocery shopping. This samoan security guy got off his truck & looked for us through the store when he approached us as we were about to pay and confronted us in a threatening way, telling me that i need to watch my mouth & wanting to pick a fighting with my husband for defending me and started to remove his jacket to fight while on the job. He did all of this in front of a-lot of other customers with their families there. Walmart was unable to give me his name but provided me with the company phone number to report him. As soon as i got home i called to report his unprofessional actions. I do hope the company does not keep him there because it is unsafe for him to be around the public, especially if there are children involved. read more
