Brossman Family Farm is our favorite local spot. Their seasonal produce is always fresh and delicious, and we love their breads and lavender ice cream too! What makes them truly special, though, is the family behind it. One Christmas, when we went to pay for our tree, they wouldn't accept our money and instead told us to put it toward an extra or bigger gift for our girls. In a world where everything can feel so transactional, meeting people who are this generous and kindhearted is incredibly special. The Brossmans are the kind of people who remind you how much goodness still exists in the world. Made a stop here during our journey out to the Leesburg outlet after seeing an influencer in the DMV area posted about this. The pumpkins on display / sale are super cute and the produce were really fresh. I just wished that I didn't do groceries the day before so that I could get more stuffs for the week. Come earlier for the sourdough bread as when we got here in the afternoon, they were already gone. read more

I stopped by this farm stand on the way home from Stone Tower Winery. I just wanted to get a little bit of fruit, but everything looked so great that I went home with way more than I planned: Asian pears, apples, hot peppers, sweet peppers, corn (bicolor and white), cherry tomatoes, plums, honey nut squash, broccoli, and who knows what else! The staff were really friendly, and everything I bought was great. I'd happily stop by again. read more

This stand is such a great place to stop. Got ice cream (wow). Beautiful vegetables and fruit. A great treat.

I stumbled upon the stand when I passed it and decided to grab some herbs. Well, I left with much more including; white potatoes, mushrooms, farm butter, bread and some cookies. They have a few employees there who bake cookies, breads and pies. Their produce is reasonably priced for fresh farm produce. I'll be back forever now..... what a beautiful place. read more

Go early so that you can have your pick, but whatever you do, get the drinkable yogurt from the fridge. I wish I'd gotten a whole bunch. So thick, almost cheesy in flavor. The strawberry was incredible. read more

During the Summer months, not a week goes by that I don't stop at Brossman's Farm Stand north of Leesburg, Virginia. The stand carries every fresh vegetable and fruit I've ever wanted. Mouth-watering tomatoes, juicy watermelons, home-loaf cakes, including yummy lemon. They are small loaf cakes, individual, I tell my family so I can eat it all myself! Brossman's offers ice cream cones, fresh eggs, and numerous other fresh items. By the way, before you leave, grab a hot lunch from the food truck at the stand. You won't regret making the trip to Brossman's. You'll leave with bags of fresh deliciousness while licking a delectable ice cream cone! read more

This roadside stand is THE cutest! The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and no matter the weather- in an exceptional mood! I've been here a handful of times and always try to get something different; my last visit I got (2) of the glass jar seasonings, Jalapeno and Green Chili. I cannot wait to try them. Also, they're pet friendly!!! Prices are more than appropriate, usually lower than expected!! read more

I stopped because I love to shop at farm stands. But was dismayed by the rotten peaches the sold me. I was disappointed that they wouldn't at the very least refund my money, I would have also been very happy with an exchange. No such luck. To make matters even worse, the okra was pretty tough, even though it looked beautiful. I'd limit purchases unless you're an excellent fruit and veggie picker or a regular. read more

Nice farm stand on Rte 15 north of Leesburg, in the land of wineries and farm stands. On our recent visit Brossman's had an excellent selection of produce and other stuff. We picked up a watermelon and some very nice peaches, along with some squash and green beans. Also picked up jars of peach and pear jam, and a small loaf of banana bread. Daughter and I also tried the ice cream stand and enjoyed our scoops of cherry grande (me) and mint chip (daughter). BTW the pies looked great -- some interesting fruit fillings such as white nectarine. Too bad I'm watching my weight these days. Finally, we sampled the wares at the taco truck. Steak taco (daughter) and chorizo taco (Dad) were both delicious. Nice place to visit on a weekend afternoon. read more

Quite a terribe experience. Stopped at this farm on the way to get some fresh vegetables as i like supporting local and small businesses. After picking up some pears, corn, apples and putting in the trolley, the small tomatoes attracted my attention. Went to check them out. While not all small basket of tomatoes looked fresh, i tried to narrow down on the best pint basket out there. The owner came back rushing and asked me not to touch saying that he doesnt want others to fall sick. ( this was a weird logic). I understand his intention to sell all the left over tomatoes and he wanted only a visual inspection before purchase. Then i showed the other produce i picked up and asked him that that if he has any idea on how i could possibly pick them without touching and apologised that i didnt learn any magic! He responded that he doesnt like any attitude from my side. At this point i retorded that this is the exact and only thing i see in him. He immediately told me and my family that its a private property and we shd leave. I cud see only 3 possibilities that a business owner could behave so. Either he is semi drunk or mentally not stable or a racist and doesnt like people of color to do business with him ( have a strong reason to belive the 3rd one). Do yourself a favor by avoiding this farm as you cud be harmed. Met another customer in the parking lot who was frustrated aswell with the owners behavior who said had walked out and shared his bitter experience with me. God save this business and induce some sense and customer centricity in to the owners head! Just picked up the sweetest, juiciest cantaloupe I've ever eaten. Can't wait to try the bicolor corn for supper. Bought strawberries a few weeks ago, and we almost devoured them standing up. Got a couple of fried pies last week that were good, also. Add the freshest produce to some of the nicest staff I've come across, and you have a most pleasant shopping environment. read more

I got to tell ya, I love this little stand. It has grown over the years, but provides some good quality produce, and on occasion, a nice sweet treat such as a pie or quick bread. They opened an ice cream stand on premises this year that is a hit with customers, although when I went in, they were out of most flavors. Staff is very nice and helpful. Prices are higher than a supermarket, but you get what you pay for when buying local. I stop here nearly every time I'm traveling up Route 15 between Leesburg and Point of Rocks. read more

From the road, Brossman's looks like a revival waiting to happen with overlapping sail awnings to keep produce in the shade. What makes this place stand out is how picture-perfect each fruit and vegetable looks. Stunning -- like a magazine photo shoot. Amazing place and staff. I've been trying for some time to find a farm that is not too far and has the local ingredients I need. Upon arrival I asked about their growing methods. Next thing I know I'm walking around the property with the farmer. He's absolutely knowledge on farming techniques. He explained his small use of pesticides and more.
