They have picnic shelters and several playgrounds for kids that are free. Kids can also participate in a tractor ride in individual cars that are pulled by a riding lawn mower. We didn't see a full size tractor ride however. If you come hungry, try their apple cider donuts, slushies and ice cream. All of it is really good!

We walked in and found this farmer's market with the delightful, little hole-in-the-wall, Cider Press restaurant, in the back of the store. The farmers market section up front is small but full of beautiful, fresh produce along with many, many other things and especially, pies that are to die for. The Cider Press, in back, is fabulous. The servers are very friendly and efficient. The food is great and mostly local. We have been back several times and have never had a less than great experience. Now, we make it a priority to stop in every time we are in the area. Highly recommend!

I'm an amateur baker so was thrilled that the owners/bakers were happy to chat with me about their process, grains, and sources. We were there later in the day so a lot of the inventory was gone but still managed to grab a rustic loaf and and the last brotchen. Everything was a bit pricier than you might find elsewhere but it comes down to if you want to support small bakers doing things the traditional way and/or want the effects of long-fermented breads. The rustic loaf was decent, if a little gummy. The brotchen, though, was fantastic and I would gladly buy a bag of those to eat with some cheese and good butter for a lighter meal. I'm not often in the area but would love to stop in again and see what's on the ever-changing, seasonal menu.

What makes them truly special, though, is the family behind it. One Christmas, when we went to pay for our tree, they wouldn't accept our money and instead told us to put it toward an extra or bigger gift for our girls. In a world where everything can feel so transactional, meeting people who are this generous and kindhearted is incredibly special. The Brossmans are the kind of people who remind you how much goodness still exists in the world. You can tell how much heart they put into their farm, their community, and the people who visit them.
