I ordered a salad that was described on the menu as having mixed greens, apples, walnuts, and pecans. When it arrived, it was clearly made with iceberg lettuce, not mixed greens. I politely mentioned this to the food runner and was told it was mixed greens. Knowing the difference, I questioned it again and received the same response. When I later spoke with the server who took our order, she initially insisted it was mixed greens as well. After further discussion, she admitted that while the menu states mixed greens, the salad was not actually made with mixed greens. The issue wasn't the mistake itself--it was the lack of honesty and the way it was handled. What made the experience even more disappointing was that when my replacement meal arrived, I was told the staff in the back had been discussing the fact that I was returning the salad. I found that comment unprofessional and unnecessary. Guests should be able to raise legitimate concerns without feeling like they are being talked about. The food quality was also underwhelming. The person I dined with barely ate his meal. I ordered a veggie burger, which I only finished because I was hungry. The burger lacked flavor, and the kettle chips were cold. I understand that mistakes happen, but customer service is how those mistakes are recovered. Had someone simply acknowledged the issue and corrected it professionally, my experience would have been much different. So this wasn't a terrible place but I wasn't just super happy either. The bites we had were good but I had to ask for more fries because they were cold. Then I had to ask for more fired because the replacement fries were cold. On the 3rd basket of fries we had a winner. We had one server and never saw him again. Had to ask another person to get us water, get us more fries, and to give us the ticket. It seems like a lot of younger people working the bar since they are putting holes in seltzer drinks and drinking them behind the bar. Not sure why there's so many mixed reviews on this, it is pretty decent. I went on a Saturday afternoon with my partner and it was pretty busy. We had the quesadilla burger which was really unique and the honey whiskey and Sriracha wings. The quesadilla burger was okay. I felt like it was missing a good sauce but the wings were really good and cooked well and they had many other sauce flavors as well. We also ordered some beers there and they had a good variety. I'm writing to express my frustration with the service I experienced during my recent visit. From the moment our table was seated, it became clear that we were being overlooked. While other tables around us were greeted, had their orders taken, and received their food in a timely manner, our server repeatedly passed by us without acknowledgment. We waited approximately 45 minutes without so much as a check-in, water refill, or explanation. Multiple attempts to make eye contact or politely get the server's attention were ignored. It felt deliberate and dismissive, especially given how attentive the same server was to other guests. This lack of basic service not only disrupted our dining experience but also made us feel unwelcome. My family, friends and I went on Sunday last weekend and 8 of us got the all you can drink mimosas! The food and drinks were great other than the waiter using the same glasses over and over but switching every glass up between us! Came here to watch the KC Chiefs beat the Ravens. Lots of Ravens fans, I felt very outnumbered. We brought our dog and wanted outdoor seating but apparently it was closed even though people were already sitting out there. We're from out of town and whenever we're here the service is just getting worse and worse. First, as soon as we walk in no one seats us, so we go seat ourselves and then we wait. We must have waited 20 minutes and still not one Server nor Bartender even acknowledged our existence. Mind you we were trying to flag servers down and not one of them even looked in our direction. So we move ourselves to the bar when we see an opening, then the gentleman behind the bar try's to tell us that the servers are going to be mad at where we sat ourselves. We were beyond annoyed at this point and said, "well we waited for 20 minutes and now one server cared to try and help up so we're going to take our chances". He said, "if you want to then". Now we're finally ordering from him and I order 2 domestic beers for their 2 For 1 Thursday Special, because we got there Thursday 7/25 at 10:15pm. The Bartender says I'm mistaken and it's only for well drinks. I then show him their Menu where it states it's also for small domestic drafts and domestic bottles. He sees it and proceeds to tell me No It's Only For Well Drinks. I try to politely say then why does it also say domestic beers on your menu, he simply repeats himself - It's Only For Well Drinks! Don't worry I'll post the picture where it's clearly states the actual special. Mind you if there were any other places open to eat and have a drink we would have been there. Believe me we checked. We also visited Friday and Saturday night as well. On Friday night a short blonde female bartender took our orders begrudgingly and would not let us cash out per transaction. She then offered one of our friends fries but when I tried to order fries she said no. It was literally a few seconds after she told our other friend yes. And she knew we were altogether. She then proceeds to close us out without doing a last call. It was our last night in town and we tried one more time. Again this is one of the only places open late so we didn't have much of an option. We get sat and again no service for about 15 mins. We decide to go to the bar to order our rounds praying it would be faster. The bartenders proceed to tell us we can't order with them and we have to wait for a server. We try to tell them we've had horrible experiences trying to wait for a server so we'd rather order here and now. The short blonde bartender turned away from us and started to ignore us. The only saving grace for this place was Aaliyah!!! This sweet beautiful angel saw us struggling with the bartenders and came over to help. She offered to take our table and order right then. And when I tell you she was absolutely incredible is an understatement. Her customer service was outstanding, her table touches were frequent and kind, she bussed our table each time she stopped by, her banter was inviting and positive, she always had a smile on her face, and best of all she apologized for her coworkers poor service and work. She apologized and said she wishes she worked when we came in those 2 other days but she hopes she can make up for that, and boy did she. The only reason there is a star collected is for this place is because of Aaliyah. She deserves a raise, promotion, or employee of the year! I ordered the chicken sandwich with house made chips that were hard (not crunchy) but too hard to eat. The sandwich is small enough to finish in 4 bites. The service Service leaves much to be desired. The staff line their coats and purses in the same location that they role the silverware and napkins together. They put their hair up and put condiments and sides on plates in this area as well. They are not attentive to their customers since they prefer to hangout in the prep staging area and socialize with each other. Way too pricy for how a customer is treated and small portions. Ambiance It is a sports bar with loads of seating to view your favorite sport. I included a picture of the balls to ensure I was not exaggerating my review of them. Soooooo, when a large group of members from the Black community show up to dine, it appears WE are the issue. Without a lot of inquiry, it was ASSUMED that we would not be eligib for their space and no one even took the time to ask if we had a reservation...One can only wonder if they would have been pleasantly surprised. Any way, when we asked for names, everyone got very tight lipped, which is horrific and lacks accountability. The only names we were able to get were Hazel and "Kiana" (the manager) who is only being referenced because the waitress was reluctant to give her name. Another table was seated next to us mins after the beers came out. They ordered beers also. They were served their beers within mins. Our server came over and asked if we needed anything else while the food was cooking. I asked for my beer again since it never came to the table. She left, came back, and asked again; so I stated again I'm still waiting on my beer. Again, she left mins and came back with our food. I asked for silverware and napkins to eat with and my beer again. She now replied, "Oh, we are out of that beer. Any other one you would like." I laughed and said yes, please, Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA and silverware & napkins to eat please again. I finished my burger completely, and the server came back & said wow where are you ordering from?" "That one is out also". I told her the QR code on the table she instructed us to scan to see food & drinks. Ohhh, she stated, "Let me get you a paper menu then." There were 2 Hazy IPAs on the paper menu. I made sure they were in stock & and ordered one and requested silverware again for the third time with napkins and another cheeseburger. 5 mins later, she said, "Did you want the same cheeseburger?I said yes with the Hazy IPA and silverware & napkins again, please; #4. I finally went up to the hostess stand and asked if they had silverware & napkins because I had asked our server 4 times in the last 25 mins and still nothing. Nicely, the hostess went & got me a roll of silverware & napkins for the table. Finally, the server came back giggling & and said, "I'm truly sorry."" The table behind you asked me a question & I forgot, but what beer did you order. She opened her book & said I didn't write it down and forgot. I told her, and she placed the order. My second burger came out, and then moments later, she finally brought over my beer. This to say service is horrendous! I should have given her a zero tip! Instead, I gave her a 20% tip she did not deserve at all. Only because she was nice, but I'm not paying/tipping because you are nice. I'm paying for service & professionalism in the food & beverage industry. She definitely needs training and needs to focus.
