The website automatically assigned me an associate. When I arrived, no one greeted me, so I started browsing and trying on suits myself. After about five minutes, an associate approached and asked me to check in. When he saw that my appointment was with someone else, he told me he couldn't help me and that I'd have to wait. The associate I was scheduled with was busy with another customer, so I waited for about 20 minutes past my appointment time while other associates were available and had no other customers to help. When I finally voiced my frustration to the associate I had the appointment with, he made no attempt to make the situation right or offer any kind of solution. At that point, I decided I no longer wanted to shop at Suit Supply. For a brand that prides itself on service and tailoring, this experience has been consistently disappointing.

After spending some time shopping around in the store, I decided to get measured and order. The process seemed easy, the suit jacket they use for fittings fit great and they would order with slight adjustments. I spent $1200 on a custom suit. I received a notice when the suit was shipped. I logged on and noticed it was being shipped from China. I assume it's assembled in China. On April 18th, I went in and tried the suit on. The pants were too tight and the suit jacket was off. The suit bowed out at the chests. My sales associate went over to speak to the Custom Suit Manager who just looked over at me and nodded. He didn't bother to come check what changes needed to be made. They took more measurements and would make adjustments in store for a later pick up. I went back on April 24 and the suit jacket still bowed out at the chest. Same situation, my Sales Associate spoke to his manager and he looked over at me apparently agreeing with the proposed changes. He never came over to look at the suit of check. They went to make more alterations in store. On May 10th, I went back and it still had issues. Another sales person looked at the suit and saw the same issue I kept having acknowledging it was a problem. They decided that the size of the suit was a size too small from the get go. They decided to completely reorder the suit jacket. On May 22nd, I got a notice the suit shipped from China. Once scanned by UPS, there were no more scans after that. On June 6, I emailed service@suitsupply.com to ask what the status of the shipment was. They didn't respond. I texted them on the US phone number on their website. They didn't respond. On June 12th, I emailed again asking for the status. They responded the next day that the suit was at the store ready for pick up. I called the store the next day to confirm and was told they are having problems with their system notifying customers the suit is there. So it's been there for some time. On June 14th, I went to the store again. And the same issue, the chest of the suit bowed outwards. At this point, I asked for a refund. The manager said "Let us know if we can help you again in the future." That was the end of it. I'm not sure what else I was expecting but I felt like there was no desire to save me. There was also no one in the store on a Saturday. This is not a true custom suit. I'm not sure if they can't measure correctly, they don't know how to make alterations, or just aren't concerned. So all in all, it took months to get nowhere for a "custom" suit. For the money, there are much better options.

Do not go to this store, Gus is an arrogant impatient a--. They do not know the meaning of quality customer service. What ever you do DO NOT ORDER A CUSTOM SUIT here!! Gus does not care what your preferences are he will only make a suit he likes. Don't waste the money, get a suit off the rack and have it altered BEFORE getting one at Brothers 'idiots'. I can't call them tailors. My son spent $1200 on a custom made suit, 5 people where witnesses to the ordering consultation and Gus argued w/all of us about the details my son wanted on his peak lapel suit. We kindly refused Gus's adamant requests to include details my son did not want on his suit. When we picked up the suit, it was not made to order. It was made w/the details Gus insisted upon. His family members work there and they are too intimidated to stand up to him, you could see on their faces and the faces of other witnessing customers in the shop that Gus was lying about the order. Custom means 'as you want it', BT does not provide this service. Get a copy of your order form before leaving the shop. Not only did he refuse to fix his error but Gus expected my son to pay an addition $700 to replace the fabric affected. Unprofessional, crappy customer service, arrogant POS! He cast a serious pall over our family wedding. If you don't know what you are doing, and like to be bossed around and not getting what you pay for, by all means go to this stupido. read more

I stopped into Brothers Tailors because I'm in the market to invest in 3-4 well made suits to further enhance my image during last year of b-school at ASU. These guys have a great setup upon initial visit. Everyone on Yelp and other review sites wrote "the owner is an expert tailor" and had no clue what that meant in terms of qualification- is that a certificate, an award, what lol? Come to find out from his son, Peter, it takes 20 years on avg. to be considered an expert tailor so the owner knows what he's doing. The family owned culture was pretty cool compared to my visits to Nordstrom's and Macy's. I received some good advice from from Peter, contrary to some negative feedback on this site. He gave a ton info on what to look for in a suit and was straight forward (although we were interrupted a few times by other clients who where perceived to spend more.) He advised me that he just placed an order for a more suits and my money will be better spent once the new shipment comes in (I guess due to older items being marked down and newer contemporary inventory to choose from). He promised to call me this week to set up an appt. when his shipment arrives. It was a good first experience I am looking forward to see if Peter can indeed live up to the businesses reputation. I gave Brother's Tailors & Clothing Co. 1 star because they ruined my daughter's prom dress. Margarita handled the alterations for $95 dollars. My daughter put on the dress to ensure that Margarita does not cut too much off the dress train (slightly longer in the back). Margarita stated repeatedly that they do "quality" work. At the time of pickup, my daughter did not try her dress on and that was a mistake because our worst fear became a reality - the train was gone. Looking ahead, no one could tell that the dress had a train; maybe except for the designer, or someone else who bought the same dress, this would not spoil my daughter's evening. I chose Brother's Tailors from customers' reviews on "yelp.com." What I should have done, but did not do- but will do in the future- is to get it in writing a liability note that holds the business 100% financially responsible if my garment happens to be ruined. Instead the owner, Gus Zistatsis's, egotistical marriage jokes were distracting me. I would not be recommending Brother's Tailors to my family, friends, and business partners because their definition of "quality" is an over zealous customer service without the "quality." read more

I went in to Brothers to buy a suit and I always have trouble buying a suit because I have huge shoulders and a tiny waist in comparison to my shoulders. Every suit I buy has to be completely recut and altered, the problem is no one ever makes the final product look good. I haven't had a tailor do all my alterations and have everything look exceptional at the end. The owner worked with me personally and after trying 8-10 different design & models we finally found one that fit like a glove with minimal alterations required. I was so thrilled with how everything fit that I decided to order custom shirts because I have a problem getting measured for those as well. I have a big neck, big shoulders and a small waist so finding shirts that fit well is nearly impossible. After the shirts came in and tryed them on, I have litteraly never had shirts that fit so perfect, and the compliments I got made it worth while. I highly recommend and you should see for yourself. read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Peter at Brothers Tailors to create a custom tuxedo for my son's wedding. From the very beginning, Peter was incredibly patient, accommodating, and professional. Despite my pickiness and attention to detail, Peter went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the tuxedo was perfect. As my son is an ex-football linebacker, finding the perfect fit was crucial. Go in ask for Gus and tell him you want the good looking guy special.....He will set you up and have you in and out in a day. Does fantastic work in every aspect and never forgets a face. The person we spoke to on the phone should have honored that since we had been told that at the time of checkout but they did not. He called the store and we went to get the alterations at no cost. Still leaving 4-stars because it's a little disappointing that they changed the whole alterations model but nonetheless, their customer service is very good. A year ago, went with my boyfriend to buy a suit. It was pretty pricey but they had a good "free alternations policy" which was really appealing so he bit the bullet and bought the suit. Suit is nice, employees were helpful but now a year later, the pants need a little alteration. We gave them a call and they told us they changed their alteration policy from "free" to "free for 60 days after only". Who's getting an alteration 2 months after?? That was part of the reason we spent so much money was to get free alterations. We are very disappointed and won't be going back.

We were offered some cold bottles of water while we waited, which was a nice touch, and then Vicki helped us out. We ended up trying on a boys' suit and then ordering a size up... I found the price for this reasonable for a quality suit and we were told it should be arriving within the week. We will go back when it arrives to see if it needs alterations, and I know that BT&C is known for the great job they do with tailoring, so I may have to bump this review up another star based on our next experience visiting. On top of the guy who pinned my adjustments being terribly rude, I will definitely not be returning.
