I took my son to Brothers Tailors & Clothing after a friend recommended it. He was in need of a suit and this seems to be the place to go! We stopped by on a Saturday around noon. The place was packed! That being said, there were at least four employees handling customers. We were offered some cold bottles of water while we waited, which was a nice touch, and then Vicki helped us out. We ended up trying on a boys' suit and then ordering a size up... I found the price for this reasonable for a quality suit and we were told it should be arriving within the week. We will go back when it arrives to see if it needs alterations, and I know that BT&C is known for the great job they do with tailoring, so I may have to bump this review up another star based on our next experience visiting. They are phenomenal and will always get my business. Is it inexpensive? No, but the better question is: Is it worth it? I would give that an emphatic YES. I took an expensive new silk skirt with ragged edges and tears that needed to be shortened. it was known that the bottom was not even and that had to be fixed and raised up just below the waistband. The alterations was $40 When I went to pick it up the bottom was still not level and I noticed suddenly there were huge gaps in the silk tears on each side. That was not acceptable and I never noticed it before it was altered. Now sadly I have to pay an additional $40 to get the alterations corrected as they charge $40 for each thing you're going to have done. So now although the skirt I don't think would be wearable if I didn't get that problem fixed I'm going to be paying almost as much for the skirt as I did an alterations. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. read more

Upon walking into the store, I was not greeted. I stood around for a considerable amount of time to speak to someone. I am not sure if there was a language barrier but eventually they came up to me and just gestured me into a changing room (which I thought was kind of rude). I was trying to explain that I just need my dress pants tailored, but they did not really seem to listen. I was just rushed up onto the stand to do measurements. They did not ask me how I wanted my pants tailored, they just kind of marked them in a rush. I ended up just putting my clothes back into the bag and leaving. If you are a Spanish speaker, I think there will be no language barrier for you here. Otherwise, I think you're going to have an issue. I did not think they were very respectful and did not appreciate the rush through the process. I don't recommend. read more

But let me tell you how they also saved our butts today and created a Christmas miracle for our 4 year old. Our kid has a tiny stuffed lamb lovey that she has never parted with: it goes everywhere- and looks that way. The satin lining has completely disintegrated. So she asked her Christmas elf if it would take her baby back to the North Pole and fix her up. This was my chance to be mother of the year. I took that little lamb apart. Bought new satin. And watched a million YouTube videos to try and learn to use my sewing machine. It's the day before Christmas Eve. The elf is about to take off back to the North Pole for good, and she is only at the babysitters for another hour and a half when my needle breaks. I have no idea what I'm doing, and this little lamb is in a million pieces. My husband steps out and makes a call to the only person he knows with talent behind the machine. Brothers. He dropped off the scraps of my daughters beloved lovey, and they make quick work of assembling the lamb. It's perfect. They had absolutely no reason to do this for us. And within hours. The most judgmental place I've ever been too. Walked in and inquired for a suit that would fit. He kept saying it's expensive. And when asked for a 3 piece or something in dark gray he took no effort to help and said didn't have anything. Except he kept saying it's expensive!!! Loved this store! These days it's hard to find 'old school' honesty and quality customer service, but Brothers has it. We came in to have some high end suits altered for my husband. They are attentive and actually listened to what my husband wanted and needed. We also got an honest assessment of what we could expect. They could have easily up sold or over sold us, but they were honest and educated us as to what could and could not be done with alterations. I Lost a bunch of weight, got in shape. Wanted to get my tux taken in and buy 2 new suits. I called, nice lady said come on in. No appointments needed. The guy at the desk was so rude. I was holding my tux, told him what I wanted. He says "no pants" I said you don't sell pants? He says "no pants" and waived his hand at me dismissively. Another customer (lady) said you just sold us pants. He snapped "no tuxedo pants". I didn't want new tuxedo pants, I just wanted them taken in. He wouldn't even let me explain I also wanted 2 new suits and shoes. I went somewhere else and spent $1200. Dude was a rude A-hole. Really caught me off guard. So my husband and I came here on a Monday for a last minute tuxedo for a wedding for this Friday afternoon. My husband ended up picking out a tuxedo right off the mannequin. Leng was super helpful. She made sure the tuxedo was tailored to perfection and even added a bow tie and matching pocket square!! And the tuxedo was so reasonable!! Needless to say, my husband was the best dressed guest at this wedding!! So handsome!! The alterations were done in two days!! I highly recommend this place. The best suit buying experience I have ever had. I came in last Thursday as I was officiating my nieces wedding Saturday (2 days later) and did not like a suit that I had purchased somewhere else. I ended up buying 4 suits, 2 dress shirts, 6 ties, socks, shoes, and a belt and for a lot less than I have ever paid. More importantly the suits look amazing and all 4 were ready ONE DAY later. I received a ton of compliments and I let the team at Brothers know that I will never shop anywhere else again for suits. I was in the Corporate world for many years and purchased many suits from the big chains like Jos A Bank and these are far better in fit and the service, quality, turn around time, as well as the price are not even close. I literally received two texts after the wedding from people asking where I got my suit and I did not hesitate in telling them Brothers. I rarely write reviews but they so earned it. I wish I could give them 6 stars. Read the reviews. The only thing I saw that someone wrote recently that was negative was that they could not make an appointment? When I was there they were busy but got to everyone in a timely manner and again had such a quick turn around. Next time I am getting a custom suit. For me it does not get any better. I stepped in with my usmc blues coat hoping to at least get some advice if they can be altered or resized, I put my coat on and the dude that looks like he's the burglar from the movie home alone tells me to lay off the tortillas, beans, quesadillas, and tamales... Mina's and his team helped me out and I'm extremely satisfied by the results! I needed the sleeves tailored and my pants hemmed and I gave them in on Monday the 10th. They gave me the cost up front through a message through the Yelp app so I didn't have any surprises. They initially stated it would take a week at which I replied that I really wanted this done before Easter if possible. She ended up thinking about it for a bit but then saying yes she could have it done by Saturday at 1PM. The last place I want to, Janine's alterations, they didn't hem the jacket sleeves high enough or the pants high enough, and even so there were visible lines on the pants. Here at Mina's place I am very impressed with the results and I will definitely be coming back to get more clothes tailored by them!
