It was not painful, and she really was very particular about the shape in order to not underdo it or overdo it. Mine healed quickly without any issues and then for my second appointment, I went to her new office in Pacifica. We made the brows a bit thicker and they are now the perfect size and shape. I can't tell you how amazing it is to wake up in the morning and not having to try to draw two matching brows (I was not ever very good at doing that so probably most of the time I was walking around with brows that were not a match ). (I'd also read that powder brows would last longer on oily skin than microblading.) I found Claudia and loved seeing the results her clients had. I messaged her through her Facebook page, asking if I would be a suitable candidate along with specific questions about aftercare, and she was super responsive and friendly! My positive impression continued with the confirmation email after booking an appointment. I'm the kind of person who LOVES reading ALL the information so I can feel prepared and knowledgeable. The amount of detail that Claudia has about pre-care and after-care in her appointment emails fulfilled that need for me 100%. I could tell that this is a person just as detail-oriented as me! At my first appointment, it was clear that Claudia is an authentic artist committed to your brows. She took her time drawing them in, even accommodating some feedback. It felt like we were a team getting me beautiful brows. As mentioned, I'd never had permanent makeup or a tattoo done, so I wasn't sure how painful it would be. (My relative had reported that microblading was super painful and was procrastinating on touchups for this reason, so I was a little nervous!) The powder brow procedure felt like deep scratches, and my eyebrows were sore at the end of the appointments even with the anesthetic gel, but it was totally manageable. Claudia included an aftercare kit with a cleanser and oil treatment, with clear instructions about how to treat my brows as they healed - no continuous stream of water flowing over them, no scratching! It took less than a week to heal, only itching occasionally after the first appointment. Putting pressure on my eyebrow with a nail soothed the itch just fine. It didn't itch at all (and barely peeled) after the touchup. The in-progress photo is the worst the peeling ever got. All very unlike my relative's intensely itchy and dramatically peel-y healing experience (like you could see it from afar) with microblading! I was also able to text Claudia with any questions during the healing process, and she gave me confidence to trust the process. The eyebrows took me a little getting used to after the first appointment, since they were so dark compared to my non-existent natural brows. But I LOVE the final results! It makes me so happy to look in a mirror and see such beautiful brows. It's saved me so much time in the mornings, not having to rush drawing in my brows (likely badly). Claudia was a joy to work with before, during, and after the appointments, and I will be recommending her to anyone local who wants their eyebrows done! (Including my microbladed relative, haha.)

She informed me that the first session was more for lip neutralization. Since getting the lip blush, I have been mainly just wearing a sheer gloss. I called and was told everything had to be scheduled online, so I submitted a booking request. The first time, I was told to choose another time slot. After that, I submitted two more requests over the course of two weeks and received absolutely no response or confirmation. At this point, I already paid for the service, so I kept trying. Then they said the machine was broken and needed repair so I had to wait even longer. As for the actual tattoo removal experience, I would not recommend going here. I'm only sharing my experience so others can make a more informed decision. I had two sessions done and was given very little aftercare information other than to avoid sun and soap. I later found out icing the area is also important, but that was never mentioned to me. I had very bad blistering! I never went back for my third session even though it was already paid for. After my treatments, I developed severe scarring. I now have a permanent scar in the exact shape of the tattoo lettering, which means the tattoo can never be fully removed. Because of the damage, I stopped treatments and spent over a year trying to heal the area. After 2 years the scar is still very noticeable. I will say all the staff here were very friendly and professional. Just don't come here for tattoo removal.

I think they have a 3% fee if paying by card like most small businesses. I got lucky with walking in on a Saturday but the waiting area seats quickly filled up during my service. This was the best/most painless experience I've had in a while and I really appreciated that they were patient when I asked for small corrections afterwards. They ask if you'd like aloe vera and they also do a tiny light massage on the brows afterwards. Highly recommend! They'll ask if you want a punch card and the 6th (or 7th) visit will be free :)
