I went in today, for lip and chin threading ($18). While doing that, the technician said "let me just get the sides right here". I think that she's just getting a couple of hairs. But keeps threading my jawline. I'm really sensitive so I say "okay, that's enough". Imagine my surprise, when the total was $50! $32 more than I expected. The staff has consistently been professional, and I've never had any issues until today. A technician with short blonde hair did my service. I came in only to have my eyebrows threaded. During the appointment, she asked if I wanted my upper lip done, saying it was included, so I agreed. After that, without clearly asking my permission or explaining there would be additional charges, she continued threading other areas of my face, telling me to turn this way and that way. I assumed she was just cleaning up the area or that it was part of the service. When I went to pay, I was shocked to see a $60 charge. That was never discussed beforehand, and I would not have agreed to those additional services had I known they were extra. I paid because I didn't want to argue, but I left feeling misled. I want to emphasize that this review is about this specific experience, not the business as a whole. I've had many positive visits here, and the other technicians have always been honest and professional. My only concern is that customers should be clearly informed about any additional services and their cost before they are performed. Literally do not go here. Actually confused on how they even have 2 1/2 stars. People little rally gave me burns on my face from eyebrow wax, said it was just "redness" and then charged me $50. I also told her not to do threading because it's broken me out before and she literally said no waxing breaks you out more, i'll do threading. Not impressed. Sat there while the nail tech constantly stopped to watch TV and didn't listen when I said please do not use the drill under my nail. Then I have this mark on my nail and you can clearly see glob of nail polish to the right. Also, when putting the top coat on he wasn't paying attention to my nails because he was again watching TV that he didn't cover my full nail.....was so annoyed it wasn't even worth it to say anything. It's a great place to go for lashes and eyebrows, but do NOT get nail services here. It's disgusting beyond the area where lashes are done I killed 3 bugs while getting my nails done the guy never even stopped or acted to care. There were dirty napkins and old food where you wash your hands. He was the only person working on a Saturday told about 7 more ladies to come back in a hour. He said he couldn't polish my daughters nails and toes due to her being small but she gets them done all the time at other places. He ended up just polishing her nails. The paint job was well done on both of us. $98 for a basic pedicure and gel removal and polish no manicure was way over priced. read more

This is the worst place ever for woman to treat herself. First of all I don't mean any harm but Asians should stick with nails and Indian women should stick with brows. The lady who did my nails was not prepare at the station. It took her almost 15 minutes to get setup! She had to do one of my nails over 3 times. That nail color was darker than the other nails. My nails did not look like the professionals did them look like I may have done them myself. Then when I went to get my brows threaded. That woman talk me into getting tint on my brows. I will NEVER be going back to this place. I used to go there all the time because I worked in the mall and knew everyone plus they were really good. I stopped in one day because I needed to get my nails done before my engagement pictures. BIG MISTAKE! The guy that did my nails could not speak a lick of English. I mean not a lot of Asians can't speak great English but this guy was terrible. Not one thing he said made sense. All I wanted was gel polish but he suckered me into getting tips plus gel. Wow. He was worse than a car salesman. All I heard was gibberish so I didn't even care anymore. I got the tips and gel polish but my tips came out looking crooked and uneven, I usually end up getting "cat nails" when I get acrylics because I like the pointed look but not this time. It's very hard to achieve but it shouldn't be that hard. I guess this guy was right out of school or something. He acted like the didn't know what he was doing the entire time. My nails were uneven and they chipped within a few days. Two of my nails broke off and not to mention, I cut my finger with one of my nails. Saturday, April 16th I was in Cool Springs Galleria Mall, Franklin, TN. I saw a place to get my upper lip & chin threaded. While I waited I overheard a conversation with the employees about one having to leave for family reasons. The foreign lady who was doing the threading made a rude and unprofessional remark about the employee who said she needed to leave. And I quote "Americans, they're lazy! They don't want to work." She made the mistake of saying this in English to the client she was working on & the other coworker who was also foreign. After overhearing this I became very upset and left. First - it is unprofessional to speak negatively about a fellow employee to other customers. Second - it is unprofessional and rude to put down fellow employee, who does not speak your language, to customers who do speak your language. Third - I'm not spending my money with you after you've shown me your rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional attitude! The lady who threaded my eyebrows did then just the way I wanted. She made them super clean, she was fast, and did it did not hurt at all. The only issues I had were the prices, I'm from California so you can find quality threading places that are for 5 bucks but here it cost me 10. That's double the price!! Another thing was that they did not have a list to keep track of who was next so they allowed a girl who just walked in to go ahead of me. I would recommend to improve on customer service such as greeting them when they walk in and having that list because you don't want to have angry customers. I did not have the same pleasant experience that everyone else seems to have had. The woman that did my manicure put and cured 2 layers of base coat, 3 coats of color and 2 coats of top coat for a gel manicure. When trimming back cuticles, she cut my finger due to trying to rush her way through it and it is now caused my thumb to swell with infection. Be cautious! Also had my eyebrows threaded as well by another woman and that was a completely different experience. She did a fantastic job! Definitely recommend for threading but not for a gel manicure-- at least with the woman who did mine. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. The customer service is horrible! My daughter and I walked in when they were busy. There were two women eyebrow threading up front. Neither of them addresses me or my daughter. There was a man at the back giving a pedicure. We sat and waited. Finally one of the ladies asked if we were doing eye brows? Told her no nails. Located on the second floor of the Cool Springs Galleria mall, across from H&M. (I learned this the hard way-- walked around the mall for 20 minutes before I found it.) The woman who did my brows obviously had years and years of experience. She did my brows in a matter of minutes. It's a pretty no frills salon, so there's no coffee awaiting you or private room scented with candles. But it's quick, clean and gets the job done. $20 for lip and brow. My 13 year old granddaughter wanted a manicure and told the guy what she wanted even showed him a picture of what she wanted. he put them on and the guy cut them too short she told him that's not what I ask for. she told him to take them off they we wrong he did also had one of her fingers bleeding when she left. He charged her $25 for this service and she left with her nails be the same as they were when she come in except for the bleeding. When we arrived, the nail tech sat my sister down on the massage chair and put her feet in the water, he then started doing a mani on me. I asked him who was doing my sisters feet? He said he would do it after he finished with my nails. I told him that we booked two appointments at the same time but he said that they had taken a walk in and didn't have anymore nail techs available. Well, a month after my pedicure I noticed a spot on my left big toe nail. It's now a full blown toe fungus and I have to do medical treatments. Beware, they seem to not sterilize the instruments. I've been having my nails done for over 25 yrs & this is the ABSOLUTE WORST place I've ever been. They left my nail edges completely rough (even after I pointed this out couple of time & seemed irritated that I showed him) literally slapped on my polish so thick it has dents now where even though it was dry (again had to point out there was a piece of cotton or something on the brush) he seemed to be in such a hurry. Please do not go here! I take much pride in my nails I have or HAD (I guess I should say) long natural nails that had taken me months to grow out. First I had to wait 20 minutes for the owner to come in from his smoke break to get a gel manicure. He removed my previous polish with a nail drill NOT THE PROPER WAY! You should soak them in acetone. He then started to put gel on my fingers without even giving me a manicure or at the very least pushing my cuticles back. He did a mediocre paint job. I was unhappy but am not one to complain and what typically takes 30 minutes at other nail salons took an hour there so I was running very late. By the way their prices are astronomical and absurd !!!!! By the time I got back to work two nails had formed bubbles inside them and now three days later I have 4 chipped and cracked nails (from the drill used to remove my previous gel polish) and the gel polish is coming off...now I have to cut all my nails and restart where I began months ago and right before all the. Christmas and New Years parties!!!!Ladies that are particular about your nails know what I'm saying about growing them out and having to cut them.
