I arrived on time and the receptionist was very nice and professional, they made sure to make me feel relaxed when I mentioned it was my first time getting waxed. They went over a couple of things with me, told me about their specials and introduced me to some other products and services they offered. My waxing specialist was Diamond, she took me to the back where she went to work. Yall, she was so focus and getting every single nook and cranny that the whole thing took no more than 20 minutes. I won't lie to yall, it hurt a LOT!! I never given birth but I feel like this is worse than that haha. I have to place this experience worse then getting a tattoo and I have a few of them. There were a couple of spots that were not as painful but there were spots that she missed a spot and went back to get all the hair. She was laser focus on getting all the hair in my bikini area and let me tell yall, I felt as smooth as a baby dolphin haha. I went back to check out and that was it. I saw a few guys in there too going for their appointment so its nice to see guys taking time for some self care. I liked this location, its staff, the pricing was good and the results were amazing. This particular waxer pulled the wax so slow off me It was unreal I count finish. Typically waxing is not an issue however her method was not appreciated. If someone is telling me the wax is too hot I would try to cool it down a tab before applying to a DIFFERENT area. Not the best experience this time around. I have been calling since October to cancel my membership due to constant turnover of sugarists and lack of consistency in care. Every time I called, I was told a manager would call me back. That call never came ,not once. This went on for weeks, despite repeated attempts to speak directly with the manager, Jee. During this time, my card continued to be charged $55 for November, and December even though I clearly expressed my intent to cancel and had not returned since my last appointment in October. I also explicitly asked for my card to be removed from file, yet it continued to be charged anyway. When I finally received any response, the manager made assumptions without ever speaking to me directly and only refunded one month ($55) without calling to discuss the situation, her lack of follow-up, or the repeated unauthorized charges. I am still owed refunds for the remaining November that was charged while my cancellation requests were being ignored. Throughout this entire process, communication was handled (when it happened at all) through text messages from an unreachable number, which is extremely unprofessional especially when dealing with billing disputes and unhappy clients. There has been zero live communication from Jee despite multiple complaints, including my most recent one on 12/28, after my card was charged again on 12/25. It took two months to finally receive a cancellation form which raises the question: why wasn't this provided in October when I first started calling to discuss my concerns of turn over and not wanting to continue with my membership. Additionally, I lost three different sugarists during my membership, leaving me without a consistent provider. While the sugarists themselves were kind and professional, the management is not. No client should have to chase a business for months just to cancel a membership or stop charges. Because my concerns were ignored, I had to contact Wells Fargo to report the establishment and stop further charges. This practice feels extremely shady and unprofessional. I will not return and have reported this issue. I am also escalating this to corporate. I strongly advise others to be cautious if you have an issue or want to cancel, expect delays, ignored calls, text-only communication, and continued charges. Very disappointing experience
