I was able to easily schedule an appointment online to see Vanessa. You have to give a credit card number to reserve your appointment. Vanessa texted me right away confirming the appointment and said to let her know when I arrived so she could meet me at the door and take my temperature. This little waxing suite is in what looks like a big old house filled with offices and salons. It seems like this building has been around forever but it's very clean and cozy inside. Overall super pleasant. Vanessa was wonderful! Kind, funny, talkative, direct, and casual. She made me comfortable and her prices are really great. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, no wait at all. Waxing is never fun (at least not to me!!) but at least Vanessa made my experience as quick and as tolerable as possible. I have been getting Brazilian waxes every 4-5 weeks for the past 2 years in Georgia. I'm now in Texas for work for the next few months and couldn't let my routine lapse! I got the deal on groupon. Wasn't sure where the salon was exactly until I started getting closer. It's like going down the memory lane lol. It's right next to UTA, my alma mater, on the same street that we used to run quite a bit on. It had been a while since I was last in the area, boy did I get a little sentimental. The place is located inside a nice little salon with other services being offered in the same building. I wasn't sure where to go at first, but luckily Vanessa somehow knew it was me (can't be that many Asian booking on the same day I guess lol) when she saw me and guided me into her studio. From the moment I saw her to when I left, it was probably all under 20mins. Yes, she stays inside the room with u while u undress, but y should she leave when she would be all close and personal to ur hooha soon after anyway? The room stays lit brightly. Which is one thing I'm not too used to, but on the bright side (literally), it helps her speed up the process and make sure she got everything. Here Vanessa uses the hard wax instead of the waxing strips. If you never had hard wax, trust me, you want it, prefer it, n love it a whole lot more than waxing strips. Not only its quicker, less painful (it probably helped too that it wasn't my first time lol), it's so much cleaner n wayyyyyy less sticky than the strips. Vanessa did a great job making me feel like a baby again (tho I don't remember crap of when I was baby!). I never wanted to check for the work right after unless when I take the first shower. She was ok always on her phone, the appointment was for 45 minutes to do a Brazilian and she rushed it and did it in 15 min, she did miss so many large spots, she left me all sticky and so much left over from the wax. I went because my regular was booked but I recommend going to go to Depil Brazilian Wax, they are so professional and never miss a spot, even do touch ups in the first 3 days after waxing and is way cheaper than here.
