    Worst homeowner's management company around. They are disinterested in customer service and process…read moreimprovement. As a customer of their Leesburg, VA, office, I have been ignored or received untimely responses to many of my requests. Worse, my real estate agent and I received incorrect information from the community manager of Sutton Ridge Condominium, which has never been acknowledged by her or the Division President. I was treated rudely and dismissed. No one in the Leesburg office was willing to take ownership of my issue or would step up personally to advocate my position to resolve it. Instead, I was bounced around, required to research the issue on my own and defend myself, and even blamed. In a nutshell, I was treated rudely, condescendingly, and dismissed. Not until I reached someone outside the Leesburg office, was I treated with respect. The issue turned out to be a system error on Sentry's part. The person outside of the Leesburg office apologized and personally handled correcting it. When the Division President was notified that the error was Sentry's, he continued to treat me rudely and never apologized. I highly recommend that Northern VA communities stay far, far away from considering Sentry as their management company. Their Leesburg office is nonresponsive, dismissive, and provides incorrect information. Their poor service caused undue delays and hours on my part proving their mistakes. As a company, I would also not recommend them since they seem uninterested in communicating with their customers and there is no channel to report poor customer service outside a general mailbox, which goes unanswered. Without customer feedback, there is no accountability for poor performance by their employees and no opportunities for improvement.

She was helpful and on top of everything. It was great to have open communication and lots of access for their questions and concerns. Every time they had questions, she was responsive and available. Her knowledge about the market and the selling process was valuable and informative. Given all of the steps of selling, Jin stayed so involved and had good relationships with other service providers as well, like cleaners and movers. She was present for the walk-through and settlement with my family, and she attended every meeting with the new home builders. That kind of presence and hands-on involvement was so important and something that can't be taken for granted, because other agents do not have that level of care. As a family with young children, we were repeatedly questioned and made to feel uncomfortable over normal wear and tear......things like minor drywall nicks that are expected in any home with kids. These were already being addressed on our end with a contractor, as we had communicated. Despite agreeing to cover repairs and forfeit a $3,000 deposit, we were met with unnecessary comments and a level of aggression that felt unprofessional and unwarranted. It was especially disappointing given that we chose to work with her over many other options, expecting a level of trust and respect in return. We believe in accountability and were fully willing to take care of any legitimate damages....but respect and professionalism should go both ways. Based on this experience, we would not recommend doing business with Jin.

    Warning: This Title Company Will Cost You Money -- and They Know It…read more If you're selling a home, avoid this title company at all costs. Their policies are designed to delay payments so they can profit from your money and costs you more than if you used a reputable title company. Here's what happened to me: They claimed they had to withhold more than the bank's stated mortgage payoff amount "in case there are problems." In reality, they later admitted their standard policy is to send payoff checks by mail instead of wiring funds. This delay means they hold your money longer -- earning interest for themselves -- while you keep paying interest on your mortgage. They schedule a disproportionate number of closings on Fridays. This turns the "next business day" into Monday, letting them pocket three extra days of float while costing you three days of loan interest. In my case, they made it worse. I requested a small test transfer before the full amount. They deliberately waited until 5:00 PM on Friday to run the test, ensuring I couldn't confirm until Monday. That stunt delayed the entire payment, so they earned interest on all my funds while I lost both mortgage and sales-proceeds interest for three days. The buyer's real estate agent insisted on using this company -- a choice I now suspect may involve kickbacks. If any agent pressures you to use this title company, be very cautious. Bottom line: Their corporate policy is designed to profit from delays at your expense. For your own protection, avoid any Community Title Network office.

Initial email communications were pleasant and informative. When we met Tony at the property, we knew this was it. There are tons of good looking properties around, but very few people like Tony & Jacki. Their passion for their work & attention to detail is unparalleled. The screening process is thorough, but when you consider that a homeowner entrusted their property to Jacki & Tony, you should appreciate the fact that it is. The communication is consistent, but not overburdensome. Their use of technology is right at the front of the pack. The tenant portal hosts all leasing documents, copies of insurance information, accepts payments, and even allows for online service requests. In short, these folks have got it all figured out. They are solid business people, but even more importantly, are good & decent people. You will not go wrong by doing business with JT Management!

We worked with Angie for a number of years to find our single family home in our same neighborhood, where the inventory is notoriously low and houses sell fast with multiple bids. It took some time only because we were not in a situation in which we had to move into a new house right away so we were picky. We never felt that Angie tried to pressure us into making a decision or moving forward before we were comfortable. We previewed a lot of houses and Angie would respond quickly to our requests for setting up viewing appointments. She was always on time or got in touch with us if the schedule changed, which we appreciated given our busy schedules. She was also very kind and entertaining to our small children, who were always with us during the viewings; in fact, Angie would often take them to different parts of the houses so we had time to thoroughly view the property. Whenever we had a question about a property, Angie would promptly contact the listing agent and get us an answer. Sometimes she would call the listing agents when we were present, and we noticed she had a knack for asking direct, yet professional questions that resulted in insightful information for us. When we put a bid on one house, Angie proactively reached out to us to address all our questions and walk us through the paperwork. We were not first-time homebuyers, but she still made sure we understood all the nuances. When it became clear that there would be multiple bids on this house, Angie frequently contacted the listing agent to try to get updates and advocate for us. Although we ended up being out-bidded, we felt that Angie fully represented our best interests. She was also good at keeping our spirits high after we lost the bid and helped us to remain confident that something better would be on the horizon. She helped to link us up with a lender who did a lot of the pre-processing of our loan paperwork, resulting in us being more attractive and competitive buyers compared to those who just had a standard pre-approval letter. While viewing one home we happened to look out the window and see a for sale sign in the yard of another property, which we learned had just gone on the market. Angie helped us to quickly secure a viewing appointment and we all knew it was a house that would be on the top of our list. Angie again contacted the listing agent to help us get additional background on the house and helped us to think about a price to consider for the offer. We went back to view this property a second time during the open house--and Angie took the time to meet us again--and we knew from the foot traffic that this house would have multiple bidders and go fast. Angie quickly drew up the paperwork, helped us to get a solid package submitted right away, and continued to advocate with the listing agent. We came to learn there were more than a dozen bids on this house, and although we didn't have the highest bid we ended up signing a contract! It was a huge relief after the long journey, and Angie helped us to make it happen. About a month or so after this process, COVID-19 started to emerge in the spring and obviously created a lot of stress and unknowns for everyone. Angie helped us to navigate the inspection and closing process, always advocating for safe practices when possible. Again, she was a very strong advocate for us when some complicated legal issues emerged with the title paperwork. In the early days of the pandemic we didn't know how we were going to physically do the closing process because the title company implemented strict protocols about who could enter their building. With both parents having to attend the closing in person, we were stressed about childcare because there were few options at the time. Angie very kindly offered to watch our kids at the new house during the closing. It was such a genuine offer, and we are so thankful for her compassion and support. Everything with the final inspection and closing went off without any problems. Since we moved into the new house, Angie has been great about keeping in touch. In fact, we often contact her for help in identifying contractors or other service providers. When a leak sprung in our new house on move-in day, we tried to contact several plumbers for emergency service. Because of COVID, however, we couldn't find anyone to come to the house right away. We called Angie, who gave us a name of a plumber who came by within the hour and saved us a lot of potential damage. She has added a lot of nice personal touches, like giving us a new home welcoming gift and bringing by flowers for Mother's Day. We highly recommend Angie for your real estate needs. She will take care of you.
