Just so you know: The Brown County Antique Mall is actually three different buildings. The main one, which sits just off the road, is your typical antique store. It has all kinds of tchotchkes, doodads, baubles, trinkets and other old and unique miscellany. The store is separated into booths, and there are different things in each booth. I saw all kinds of things that I wanted, but I had to physically stop myself from buying some of the vintage milk glass mugs. No one needs a milk glass mug with a buffalo on it, but the heart wants what the heart wants, sometimes. If you leave the main building and walk outside, and then turn to the right, you will see the second building: Route 46 Vintage. This vintage store deserves its own review, so you can read my separate review for that. But I'll just say that this is where you'll find funky vintage clothing and accessories. Then, there's a little shed-looking building that has more antiques and fun stuff, and also handmade goods from local artisans. Basically, the Brown County Antique Mall is a little campus full of eclectic treasures. You can definitely spend an hour or so here (or more!) looking through all of the stuff and buying all the things. read more

So fun looking through all the booths in this antique shop. We spent a few hours looking and as we were checking out we found out there were 2 more buildings! So we are definitely going back to this shop to check out what we missed and to see what new items were added by the vendors. The building we did see was a good size and the variety abounds. I love costume jewelry and was able to find several pieces that I liked and I brought home. There were big outdoor items on the front porch when we walked up. The place is right on the highway and easy to get to with adequate parking. The prices in the booths varied greatly with some being very reasonable and some I thought were high but I think that is the same as most antique/vintage stores of this type. We had a lot of fun shopping there and when we checked out the cashier was nice and helpful and told us about a couple store policies that we asked about. This is a really nice little antique mall between Nashville and Columbus, Indiana. The staff is welcoming and helpful. They have one main building and two smaller buildings filled with antiques, garden decor and collectibles. You can find just about anything and the prices are reasonable. We picked up a local geodized fossil for only $3 and a couple vintage plates for only $1 each. There were some amazing antiques including a vintage Wedgwood cake dish. The booths are tidy and cohesive. There is a case selling cans of soda if you are thirsty. Parking is easy next to the building. read more

I love going there. The place has so many beautiful things. They also have the most beautiful shop cat. The people that run it are very nice and very polite. The prices are not exorbitant. If you're in the mood to do some antiquing I would say go there you will not be disappointed. read more

Neat shop; something different to do on this stretch of road. I have absolutely no knowledge of antiques so I can't tell you if the items are worth the trip. It's a small store with small isles; wouldn't want to shop here in the winter with a heavy coat on, lol. Like local stores they do sell geodes! read more

Very cute place. And also friendly staff. They have three buildings. The main is in the front ofcourse. Bigger inside than it looks. Very clean and all the displays were very well kept. Second building out back is more open slightly bigger items. It was heated but not as warm as building number one. Building three was not heated and today it was really cold. Seemed to be mostly kinda junky stuff with lower prices then the first two building. I found a new to me set of cufflinks I liked and even got a 3$ discount for paying cash. Cute and worth a look. Building two and three would be better on a warm day. read more

As soon as we entered we received a friendly greeting. She also explained there's two other buildings outside and to the right as you exit. The size of the building is deceiving from the outside. The interior is made up of several large rooms connecting to the very back of the building. The first room has several two tier glass cases with antique jewelry. It is a nice collection but hard to see some of the pricing without having the cases opened. The store has a nice selection of antiques, some vintage pieces and many items we just enjoyed. We found ourselves saying "Remember that?" several times. The outdoor antique signs we found were pricey, but expected, as it's the going price at most places. Most of the prices we checked appeared to be consistent with other antique stores. A charming collection of antique farmhouse pieces to furniture was in the first room. The large fireplace was inviting and a comfortable spot to sit for a few minutes. We found everything from artwork, 40's through the 80's, home decor, clothing, several collections of teapots, hand blown paper weights, glassware, watches, pottery and thimbles. Flea market and vintage finds were mainly in the back. Seasonal decor was blended throughout the store. A nice collection of W. Harold Hancock's artwork was on display. Hancock was born in Illinois and had a passion for artwork beginning in elementary school. He passed in 2006 and known for his commerical poster illustrations, landscapes, portraits and mural paintings. Expect prices in the thousands. Don't miss the two buildings behind the main store. The first red building is brightly lit and has the atmosphere between a gift shop and antique store. A mixture of glassware, furniture, mixture of home decor and seasonal decor is inside. Outside on the porch is a beautiful, outdoor porch swing and benches. The other building has very rustic hand tools plus outdoors are adorable, outdoor metal artwork from chickens, flowers, Santas, drummer boys and animals. If your into antique shops and enjoy browsing then you'll most likely enjoy this diverse, clean and reaonably priced store on SR 46. read more

Cute little antique mall on the side of the road! They had a lot more space than I first thought from seeing the outside. Inside the main building you'll find everything from books to vinyl to clothing to toys to furniture. It's the kind of place you can hunt for little treasures, for sure! There are also two buildings around the back. One was mostly bedroom furniture with a few extras like clothes and blankets. I found a vinyl record for my mom in there for $3. The back building is small and had tools and Christmas items in it when I visited. One thing to note is that it's a cash only business! I didn't realize until I had my $3 record to buy and only $1 in change. Luckily I was with my mom and sister and could grab some cash. Otherwise I would have been out of luck! read more
