I believe there are people around to help load heavy items, but I'm not sure of those details. Value varies greatly. Some things are very reasonably priced and others seem outrageously expensive to me, but I guess it depends on supply and demand.

They carried a ton of adorable vintage Christmas decor. The shop was crowded and people were walking around with their treasures. The excitement was contagious. I found a little vintage Santa to purchase. The shop is large and separated into booths. Prices are reasonable. The checkout line was long but people were friendly. We purchased some books, a couple of DVD's, a purse, and a pin (I have a collection). We made some great finds and the prices, for what we brought, were very reasonable. If you're a big spender though, they do have a pair of statues in a back room going for $4,900 and I'm pretty sure that isn't the most expensive item that they have available. This trip, I was looking for a few new pieces to refresh my home after removing my Christmas decoration and taking back to storage. My home always feels bare and not as cozy after removing the Christmas decor. My main reason for running around in this bitter cold is to add more greenery, maybe some new artwork (looking for botanicals), and maybe some new throw pillows for additional accent colors. The prices are reasonable, so I can afford to replace smaller accent items when I tire of them. I only picked up two new candles and 3 packages of candle melts today, but I took pictures of several items I could use. The items change often, so I need to pop back in soon after they restock with new items. Affordable, unique pieces, collectibles, antiques, linens, cookware, purses, hats, with a dedicated area for current and vintage jewelry and clothing with numerous jeans, and a variety of boots and shoes. I visited as part of a special Christmas open house sponsored by the downtown merchants. So, of course, the small shop was filled with interesting Christmas items such as vintage blow molds and ornaments. The clerk was friendly in this independently owned shop. The prices were on the high side, so I reluctantly left empty handed. I parked on about a block north and walked as there was no nearby parking.

I picked a nice old 12 pane window in this shop about 2 years ago. I like digging through the treasures to be had here. This is not a huge shop but still fun. This time I found a small bundle of old recipes and newspaper clippings. It was do much fun digging through them when I got home! Some recipes I will try and some there was absolutely no way I would try lol. The gal that runs this shop is always so friendly and seems to get joy from speaking to every person who comes in. I will stop in this shop every year during the holidays.

This…read moreshop may have been the smallest shop I stopped in our this day but it was so clean and well organized. They did not crowd the items in the shop so it was very easy to shop in there. It did seem a little more pricey than some of the others on Jefferson Street but the items all looked too be of good quality. I still found something that I wanted in the shop. I get hot easy and I love the little hand fans that fold down and you can carry on your purse. They are not that easy to find for some reason. At least the good quality metal ones not plastic. They also had a nice wooden one. I look forward to seeing what they have in their shop next year.

I loved it! If you have a mid century modern soul like mine, then you should definitely stop in here. Very organized and everything was clearly marked. I loved all the things!
