We attended Justin Wells with Cody Ikerd and the Sidewinders show at the playhouse. We were greeted and promptly taken care of upon arrival. The venue is laid out well and easy to get around. Kudos to the sound technicians as well. Will definitely attend another event there. read more

The show Moon over Buffalo was very good and the acting was super! Love to go to various events at the playhouse. I did not appreciate however the fact that there was a $2.00 restoration fee attached to the price of the ticket and this was not even mentioned to us--and there were 4 of us! Patrons need to be told this before they purchase their tickets. read more

Fabulous community theater show. The script is witty but the humor requires excellent timing by the cast. this cast produced. definitely worth it. the venue is comfortable. This was my first visit to the venue and I was impressed. It's a charming venue that is bigger than I would've expected from the outside. Seats are in a stadium like setting, so all patrons will have a good view. And the staff is friendly and helpful. I would have no issue returning here if there was another show I wanted to see. read more

Henry Lee was great! We went in honor of my mother that passed away in January. She loved Henry Lee . She was such a huge fan. He was nice enough to sign a cd for me to put with her memorabilia. The Brown County Playhouse was a great venue and there wasn't a bad seat there. read more

Arrived from out of town on Friday to see the Chris Collins event and due to no power it was cancelled. Rather than offering a refund the establishment sent out a mass email and said everyone would be booked for a make up show which was now planned for the following month on a weekday; if you didn't want to attend you had to contact them by a specific date. I emailed and then followed up with a call but they are closed only open some days of the week. Patrons should have been refunded and secondly for as many shows/events they sell, a generator would have paid for itself. read more

4 stars BECAUSE I HATE GENERAL ADMISSION!!!! Nobody likes it!!! It is unnecessary!!! If there is a cost in assigned seats then tack on the $1.00 fee!!! It was 90° and very humid. We got there 1 hour early and we're still standing in line a block away. I had no idea a membership was available or I would have purchased it. Seating is good, no bad seats. Small up close venue. Prices are high for tickets, compared to quality of productions I have seen there. The latest was terrible Dracula a Comedy of Terrors. I have seen better production from High School theater groups. I will not go into details. Left before intermission, just could not stomach it any longer. Targeted for 14+. Very inappropriate for anyone under adult. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

I went to see one of my favorite bands The Ultimate Doors (best tribute band to the Doors)! It's a first come, first seat theater and you can't get a bad seat there but was in the first row! The view was perfect, the stage wasn't too high, the sound was great, the staff was very friendly and all the people that attended were really fun and loved the Ultimate Doors music also! I would recommend this venue to see any show and also would suggest they have this band back sooner than later!! read more

2 years ago we seen the The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, it was wonderful. This time we seen Dracula, on Oct 17, it was not a good experience, it was full of sexual innuendos and very hard to follow. read more

We have enjoyed coming to concerts here for a few years now. We have seen several tribute bands and all have been excellent. Pricing typically $23 per person- pretty cheap entertainment for a 2 hour show. Theatre style seats with lots of legroom. Highly recommended! read more

Concert was great. Really enjoyed it. The venue leaves little to desire for patrons with mobility issues. The rails are not very secure and there are gaps between them and the stairs. The restroom is not handicap accessible. I did not feel safe to make my way to the restroom. Drink prices were reasonable read more

This little gem is one of the best kept secrets in Brown County. We have been to several events there and it never disappoints. The playhouse is a smaller venue and there is truly not a bad seat in the house. I highly recommend going and checking it out for yourself. There are many great places around the playhouse within easy walking distance to eat or do some shopping. Prices on the events are very reasonable as well. read more

A bit surprising when you walk in. The front facade makes it seem small but when you get inside, it's huge. We saw Heywood Banks here on a Saturday night. Yeah toast! Staff was friendly and it seemed organized considering how many Toast Heads were there...it was nearly full. Turned out to be a nice and 'toasty' evening.
