One of the stops was the Melchior Marionette Theatre. I was great fun. It is located right on the main strip of Van Buren Street. The cost is $5 per person - I think two and under are free. The show lasts about 20 minutes and it is well worth the cost. The woman who put it on exhibits a sense of love of her work. The show was very entertaining. Since we were there in October, the theme was a haunted puppet show (slightly haunted - not scary at all). Additionally, there is free popcorn for everyone! The drinks were pretty yummy, i got a beer for $7 and then cocktails ranged from $12-$15. There is a minimum of 2 items and that can be drinks, food or merch if I remember correctly. You can line up outside before they open and all the way up the stairs. The bathrooms were very clean so that is very much appreciated. I have a new appreciation for comedy so let's support businesses like these and see some comedy shows!!!

Theater. I haven't had a bad seat yet; Although sitting up front for a Saturday night live comedian is pretty exciting. The parking situation can be challenging so I get here a little early. There are lots of great eateries within walking distance including Uptown Cafe, Farm, Trojan Horse and Osteria Ragu. Try out a sweet treat at the chocolate shop next door or a classic Chocolate Moose Ice Cream cone. Just strolling the charming downtown after an event is very date worthy.
