The payment system is newer in which a screen comes up and shows various tip options at counter service. Chocolates are a bit high so I wont be back. I am going to give this just an OK. I was passing through after a long day in the heat and had a hankering for ice cream. First off, even though it was slow inside, took a bit to get attention to order. Took the kid longer to put on the silly plastic gloves than to serve the ice cream. I had the "stellar coffee". It was icy and I think it had been there a while. It had an excellent coffee flavor, but the texture was waaaaay off. Not a bargain either. read more

This shop has great sandwiches. It's very underrated because it's in Okeechobee but the food is good. I've never tried the deserts but I've heard they're really good. I've had the shrimp salad and it is to die for! It's only served on certain days so you have to call ahead and make sure they have it. Stopped in out of curiosity and had a chef salad and the wife had a roast beef sandwich! Both were really good! We thought it was just a candy shop but they have really good food! Food is always a little different but tasty. Service is that small town type with smiles and laughter.

On the outside there is a painted door that I've literally sat at the park to watch people get fooled into thinking it's the entrance and then watch them realize it is not. Very funny to see! Starting with the staff, they are super friendly and knowledgeable about what this place has to offer. I've tried everything from soups to sandwiches as well as their sweeter delights and they are consistently of good quality and flavor. Attempted to eat here today. Waited in one line, no one said hello nothing. Finally a lady said wait right here and we will be with you in a minute. Our next person comes in at noon, we are short-handed. It was about 11:40. So we wait. That lady disappears and a different lady serving ice cream says I can't help you down here (even though they had just checked someone out) you have to go to the end by that register (where there is no one to help) So we go down to a different area. There is now a couple ahead of us...people sitting and waiting at tables (I overheard them asking where their sandwiches were) and a lady eating for sandwiches. The lady comes back to ring in the couple ahead of us..she is extremely negative and again says the noon person isn't there. She disappears to other end...at this point we realize they are in no hurry (3 employees behind back area) so we leave and go to Jersey Mike's where they managed a long line of customers with smiles and with efficiency. read more

When my mom first told me we were eating at a sandwich and soup place for lunch I was excited. Then I tasted the Chicken Salad Sandwich and Broccoli Cheddar Soup and I wanted it for dinner too. Amazing food. The bread the sandwich was on had a great flavor and was super fresh. The soup was the perfect combination of broccoli and cheddar as well as super creamy. I also love that you can add as many items to your sandwich as you like. We waited a few and ordered ice cream. It was hard to not order every piece of chocolate they had too. Cozy and very nice. Affordable prices and A/C which is a plus is a hot town. A very clean place, they have a good variety of sweet food, chocolates and others on the list for sweet food lovers. This was a sweet place for lunch (pun intended). The tomato basil soup and chicken & dumplings were both delicious. The roastbeef sandwich was huge and yummy. The salad with shrimp salad was good and came with the most delicious crackers. Of course some sweets for take out. The peanut butter fudge was very rich but good. Loved the white chocolate covered pretzels were a nice combination of salty and sweet. The chewy chocolate caramels reminded me of the caramels my mom made. Fantastic experience. read more

I'm staying south of town for the winter and came here to find some real coffee and internet. I definitely got the internet, but the coffee was, unfortunately, really lack luster. I ordered a skim latte with an extra shot of espresso - just wanted to make sure to get my caffeine fill whilst in town. It turned out to be a steamed milk latte with a hint of coffee? just a hint. Really was disappointing....otherwise, internet was great and they have a good work space and delicious looking ice cream. read more

I always loved coming here because the food is great and so is the customer service, but recently I tried to come with my girlfriend but for some reason they happened to start closing at 4 even though their hours on their site are "open until 7". Then today my girlfriend was having a bad day so I ran some errands and made sure to get here before 4 to get her some chocolate covered strawberries and now they are closed at 3. It's very very annoying to just keep shortening the hours for what seems to be no reason, especially when it still says open until 7 on the website. I had a blueberry muffin and a vanilla iced latte. The muffin was definitely the best I've had in my entire life. It was so good and it was almost creamy? I don't know but I wish I had bought two it was THAT good! Now let's talk about the latte, I have had lattes in a lot of places. This latte was in my top 5 it was so good! Yummy! Can't believe I'm first to review this. I was in Okee for work, and needed a breakfast break other than Mickey D's. Some of the locals directed me to Brown Cow. This place is so cute, and delicious. I had a blueberry tea and a chocolate muffin, and wolfed it down. Supposedly the coffees are good, and they had a big display case of fresh chocolates and cookies. So don't go here on a diet, but DO go here to indulge. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised to find this place on my drive from the east coast to the west coast of the state. It's got a real local feel.
