Serenity, indeed. This was my first morning office on the way back to Palm Beach from Highlands County. A very good cup of coffee in this storefront-sized coffee shop. Other than a "regular" who was insisting on having a long discussion with the shop owners, it was peaceful on Monday morning. Atmosphere: Inviting, friendly and warm; a family place. Service: excellent service from people who have passion about what they do, very friendly. Coffee: best in town, barnone. So far anything I've tried from the menu has been of high quality and excellent tasting. The cold brew is magnificent, so smooth and never bitter. The house coffee is perfect if you just want a regular cup, but it's anything but regular ol' coffee. White chocolate mocha frappe, YUM! Food: amazing biscuits and gravy. Makes me sad its only available on the weekend! They also have some snacks and pastries that pair well with coffee...available daily! Our coffee drinks were very good and reasonable priced and this little coffee shop is cute as can be and looks like a lot of locals gather there, which is very nice. Decorated really sweet. But I'm giving it only a 3 because I think my service could have been a lot friendlier. I tried to make a couple lighthearted comments to the lady and she hardly cracked a smile. I'm sorry to give just 3 stars. I'm from way out of town and I probably would try somewhere else next time. read more

Absolutely the best coffee in the State! I'm not a christian but this place is a quiet respite from the chaos. 4 stars because they have horrible pastries. Maybe someone in town would bake for them & as christians, they would help the Baker & their customers would benefit, too. How about bagels, scones, sweet rolls? If you're not a believer you might be overwhelmed by the religious material & tchotchkes. Nevertheless you're graciously served & you'll be supporting a local family business. read more

Great coffee! They get only FRESH coffee! The owners told me they get their coffee within 1 week of roasting AND they buy it every week. I needed something with "a kick" - I got "The Drink" and...it kicked! It tasted great and it was prepared PERFECT (I usually have to doctor it up a bit). I liked the atmosphere and spoke to the staff and found out that they make gift baskets, I intend on buying at least 1 for Christmas. My only complaint is their hours are limited, I would like to frequent the place more in the evening. read more

On the rural road across the state of Florida I am pleased to notice a coffee shop tucked in a tiny strip mall. Serving up coffee, cappuccinos, lattes and every flavored caffeine infused beverage in between. It's a neighborhood hang out and the conversations are about garage sales and farming this morning. However from the sayings posted in the walls and books in the table I suspect a bit of faith, spirituality and religion is served up also. This is definitely my favorite place to relax. Their coffee, smoothies, teas, snacks --they're all incredible. The owners, who were once strangers to me, are now some of my best friends. They've always been inviting and happy to see everyone that comes through the door! They know their stuff! They have their own blend of coffee that stands above the rest--it's not at all bitter, it's satisfying and smooth. It tastes perfect on its own, but if you're feeling creative, you've come to the right place. They can turn almost any sweet treat or dessert you may be craving into a drink. Ask for an almond joy or coconut creme pie; you won't be disappointed. Cold brew is the rager right now, Serenity's cold brew is excellent, it isn't grainy and bitter like most other places. I could go on, and on, but I'll finish with one of Okeechobee's best kept secrets: Serenity Coffee Shop's, made from scratch, biscuits and gravy. Good organic fair trade locally roasted coffee. Limited baked goods and trail mix selection and no food, but a nice quiet oasis with free wifi and good coffee drinks, tea and chai. One of the few options in this area for a coffee shop experience. read more

This place is phenomenal. Best coffee in town hands down. Any desert flavor you can imagine they will flavor the coffee to. I like the café' latte with hazelnut and caramel and my daughter likes the Blended Trinity mocha. I just wish they were open earlier so I can get a cup before I leave town for work. I don't have wifi at home and I found this spot a couple months ago to come when I really need it. The first time I ordered a London Fog and the barista admitted she hadn't made one in a while but when I tasted it, it was perfect! I then discovered the butternut squash/mango smoothie and it is my favorite! Today, after finishing my regular smoothie and packing up to leave, the owner asked me if I liked coffee and gave me a delicious cup of a pecan flavored coffee. I told him I was just thinking about how nice a hot beverage would be because the smoothie made me cold! The people here are always cheerful, beyond kind, and make delicious beverages and muffins! read more
