They were able to see me, which is pretty amazing in itself. The lady on the phone asked me several questions... when did it happen, how did it happen, are your swollen, did you cut your lip, are you injured in any other way, etc. She not only was trying to get a correct diagnosis over the phone (to ensure the DR. could see me), she also seemed generally concerned. After all, having a broken tooth is ALWAYS a traumatic event! The minute I walked in the door (not smiling or showing my teeth), they automatically knew who I was! There is something I like when I'm on the phone with someone, tell them I'm on my way... and they actually expect me and greet me by name! As the other reviews say, this office staff cares about every single one of their patients. This is one of the best dental experiences I have ever had! I'm not a person who has "dental apprehension", but Dr. Hartrick completely set me at ease. If you aren't familiar with cosmetic dental work, Dr. Hartick is outstanding! She is VERY concerned about patient pain and takes numerous measures to make sure it is minimized. She took a lot of time to explain the procedures being performed and what to expect. She even mentioned that she's a "perfectionist"! When doing cosmetic dental work, that might be one of the best things you can possible be, right? However, I went to this Clinic to seek help with some bothersome and sharp teeth from my grinding. My original online consultation was with Dr. Goldin, who told me in a video that he saw obvious signs of the issues and sharp teeth I had complained about. After my original consultation, they realized I had a few cavities that would need to be fixed before they could resolve my issue, simple enough! I understand that some cavalries could compromise my teeth in the long run, even small ones. However, with all of these fillings, out of pocket it was nearly $3,000. A price I was happy to pay, assuming they would stand by their original statement. Then I was given to Dr. Whalen who also was very friendly. He did my fillings and I have almost no complaints about those compared to everything else. However, the CROWN I GOT IS TERRIBLY FLAWED. I know that the crown are manufactured in a lab but this thing is terrible and is totally made to the wrong shape. DO NOT GET A FILLING HERE UNLESS YOU WANT PAIN AND MISERY. I have tried to have it adjusted multiple times to no avail, and will likely have to end up getting the tooth pulled sometime soon when I can afford it, as the experience has been so terrible I'd rather have no tooth at all. However, after I had set up my appointment for my "Occlusal Adjustment" to fix my misaligned bite, when I arrive, only to be interrogated by Dr. Goldin on how he doesn't see the issues that I am clearly pointing out to why I had originally visited in the first place. His staff welcomed me and were able to fit me in the day after I called since my insurance will be expiring. After a great cleaning experience with Diana, they noticed some cavities and old fillings that needed to be replaced. Dr. Coburn was kind enough to fit me in again on the following day so I can get my insurance coverages worth. First off, his assistant Sam began taking pictures of my mouth so Dr. Coburn can give me a further examination after I would leave and know exactly what was worth following up on. I can't believe how advanced technology has become. He really is hip to it all! He also knew I had a deep fear of getting these fillings but immediately made me feel comfortable. It's the small things like turning the music up, offering nitrous or making sure that the numbing gel before the shot is fully penetrated into your gums. All five fillings were done in one sitting and were completely painless. COMPLETELY PAINLESS! I can say it over and over again. I didn't even feel the shot! I remember as a kid, I would be the same little nervous girl and end up walking out with a smile. It was just repeated all over again, 20 years later. It's the billing office staff that leaves it less than desirable. They ask you, before you leave one appointment, if you want to pay your portion in full for a future scheduled service and offer a 10% discount to entice you to do so. (I'm assuming to try and lock you into using them the next time). I clarified and re-clarified if this would be the full amount I would be responsible for and they clarified and re-clarified that was correct. After the service, you get billed another amount that exceeds 150% of the first amount they charge you (no 10% discount here).... it feels like a bait and switch practice and is at best negligent and deceptive. The worst part is when you confront the incident, the staff only makes excuses and tries to place blame on your insurance company and anyone or anything else but herself. She actually never took ownership. I would not feel comfortable referring anyone to this office, after this incident.

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Dietz today…read more The first impression of his office is a great one. His staff are extremely friendly, and available to you are Coffee, Tea, and Water. The office itself is extremely sharp, modern, and clean. Each room has it's own flat screen which doubles as a computer monitor. The chairs are some of the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a Dentist's office, and also have a massage function. Dr. Dietz himself was highly professional, friendly, kind, and compassionate. His bedside manner was phenomenal, and he was very patient. Dr. Dietz uses a microscope that I have never seen used before during the surgery, that allows him to zoom in much further. The procedure itself was uncomfortable at times(as Root Canals are), but all in all I feel he did a very good job, certainly better than my previous Root Canal(done by a different Dentist). He was kind enough to call and check on me after hours, which I really appreciated. He squeezed me in as well, on a day he was booked. He obviously cares very highly about his patients. All in all a wonderful experience. I recommend him highly, if you are ever in need of the much dreaded Root Canal!
