I entered today and saw a nice variety. This place keeps a five day a week schedule and opens 8:30 am. This store is owned by the Brown family that also operates the slaughterhouse next door. The meat looked fresh and it should be under the circumstances. I did gig them one star because I've been told that the beef here is from cattle with an undocumented diet history. It seems that professional packing houses require a documented feeding history. I'm not sure if this is important; but I'd like to know before I make a purchase.

I only saw a few steaks and they were on the upper end of affordability. The most impressive feature about this place was a very large assortment of bacon! All different flavors and cuts are available! The most diversified selection that I've ever seen! A bacon lover would go absolutely bananas in here! I do recommend this store especially to those folks who can't live without their daily bacon!

Amazingly, they have employed some really helpful and courteous people. The hourly paid store associates get five stars from me. I'd be hard pressed to give two stars to their superiors! The one outstanding and redeeming quality about Ingles is their wonderful sub sandwiches. They use Boar's Head meats. They save the day for Ingles! This stuff is far and beyond better than the meats used at nationally recognizable sub restaurants. It's better than good; it's unreal! Ingles; you still have a long way to go to being on the same level as Publix! Keep serving that fantastic Boar's Head meats on your subs! I'll continue to hang in there with you!

I visited so many stores so fast that Yelp wouldn't let me check in to all of them. Back to the review. They didn't have what I needed. There were very few cough drops and almost no liquid cold medicine. I spent a few moments checking out the rest of the store. It was reasonably well stocked; other than what I needed. Their lettuce was in an unacceptable condition; mostly rotten. But the rest of their produce looked pretty good. I like this store and usually get what I need. Today was an exception. I dinged them one star.
