So I kinda stumbled upon this place by accident. I was actually at another florist in Rocky River and almost bought flowers but they really only had three selections and all looked awful for around $75. Decided to look at other florists in the area and found Brown Pleasance. Walked in and was instantly greeted by an incredibly nice woman who offered to help. Explained where I was and that I was looking for something special on the anniversary of my grandmothers passing. They didn't have any pre made assortments but they had a HUGE selection of fresh flowers in the cooler. It was like picking out donuts because I just kept adding and adding to the bouquet. I added the pic and they looked great. I honestly thought that it would be around $80-$90 for the amount of flowers I had. Nope. Huge floral arraignment of beautiful fresh flowers.....$42 total. My boyfriend has been getting my V-day flowers from here for 4 years now. I couldn't ask for better quality or more beautiful flowers. I love carnations and for those of you who don't know, they last for weeks and look lovely. These will last past my b-day in March, and still look as good as the day he gave them to me. My family has used Browns for years and we have never been happier. 2/120/14 UPDATE: I just want to say that this year Brown's went above and beyond. The store is not open on Sunday which was his day off. The VERY nice lady with whom he placed the order, told him, after an explanation of why he could not be there before 5 since he was still at work, told him that that was fine and that he could come after 6 since she would still be there! I mean really, how cool is that? He hauled rear and got there shortly before 6, but still, the fact that they were willing to work with him? Honestly, I don't see us ever using anyone else. read more

I received the most beautiful flower arrangement from here! It had really fresh flowers and so many beautiful colors!! There were stargazer lilies, hydrangea, large snapdragons, Japanese iris ( beautiful purple), red rose, orange gerbera daisy, and yellows princess lilies! Along with some fresh greens and more! Couldn't be more beautiful and fresh. Lasted a long time, smelled great as the lilies opened more. I love this florist! read more

My Mom lives in Lakewood so I usually call a local florist to send her flowers on her birthday. Luckily this time I pick Brown Pleasance Florist . I spoke with Amy and she was very helpful . I also decided to add a fruit basket this year because my mom turned 81. Amy took the time to write down choices of fruits and flowers , so very nice. I called my mom to see if the delivery had arrived and she was crying , I thought something was wrong :( The opposite tears of happiness she said the flowers were the prettiest she had ever received and the fruit basket was especially lovely . I have been getting my flowers from Brown Pleasance for my Mother and others for over 40 years. I have lived out of state for that amount of time and still would never think of using anyone else. While my mother is always is appreciative, its not only her accolades of the product and service that they provide but the large numbers of the 150+ employee law firm she retired from that had always commented on that they have never seen arrangements or such fresh looking flowers as the ones that they would see when I would send flowerrs over to her office! Kathy has been great to provide the counseling on types of flowers as well as the arrangements. She has been spot on. Its been a knockout each and everytime! While my mom has favorites...Kathy keeps it fresh with new ideas that continue to keep my Mother in awe!! Kathy and her team are very patient and clearly are not your normal florist shop.
