I found from Island County Dept of Health that Nordsky Septic (Rudy Gladsjo) had not submitted inspection records for my septic pumping in 2020 and 2022. I called Rudy and he said he would look. No response. I called the Dept of Sanitation. They called him and he cannot find the inspection reports/records. I did get hold of Rudy once, mention my concern about no inspections reports being filed and my wanting a $390 refund. He was leaving the hospital so I cut him some slack and was to call a week later. Over the last two months, I have called three times, leave voicemails, now have been sending text messages to his mobile phone per his website. No return calls or messages. I have no choice but to raise the concern higher with Dept of Sanitation for a hearing. More to come later...... Rudy Gladsjo can pump septic if on flat land. Pricing was similar to other companies I've used, but I got way more value from the service. My experience with Eduardo (Septico) was completely different from a previous company I hired, who made me feel judged instead of actually helping. I started calling around to alternative septic companies and had a lot of trouble getting calls returned or a commitment to perform. I had worked down the list of septic designers in Kitsap County with no satisfaction until I hit the "N's". When I dialed Nuckels construction, there was no voice mail or stonewalling. Holly Nuckels answered the phone and immediately instilled confidence with a line of questioning and suggestions that demonstrated a profound understanding of septic technology and process. She promised to take on my project immediately and see everything through to completion. She and Brent were on site within a day and all my cares and worries evaporated! They cleared the existing failed field to a degree that held us through the permitting and construction arc. This was a complex, extensive replacement that including rehoming the entire drain field. Naturally I expected a lot of disruption to the landscaping, but was amazed at the care the crew took to try to preserve any established planting in the impacted area and to carefully remove all debris and level and tidy up the site in preparation for my landscape restoration.
