It is a family business of over 70 years, I've been told. The retired parents were once in the antique business. Currently, the next generation is in charge, & the wife has antiques located w/in this shoe store. The husband; however, was the only staff member on site during our visit. And, unfortunately, he made little time for us, was not very friendly, & appeared uninterested in a sale. Boxes were placed blocking the display area housing a decent-sized collection of beautiful Roseville vases & hangers, which is why we were there. After he overheard us talking about the vases & attempting to somehow get close enough to see them, we asked about them, but the only response offered was "They're expensive-- $100 & up to about $300." No door was opened for further conversation. Even as we continued to discuss the vases & the ones that interested us, he said & did nothing. We were the only customers in this small store the entire time. Since this store is listed on flyers as an antique store, on shelves are small antiques from different genres & decades. However, the Roseville collection is a large part of the entire collection. Much of this store contains shoes, but we were there to buy antiques-- only we left w/ nothing. Never have we encountered such a disinterested and non personable owner. Whoever said business is all about money was wrong when it comes to this owner. He blew a sale, as well as a recommendation. The shoes & boards did look inviting, though:)

This is more akin to a Macy's or a Dillard's (as is the pricing). The store has a nice selection and is well laid out. The service was friendly and overall, it was a pleasant enough experience. Since it is in a shopping plaza, parking was not an issue.

They try to tell me that it takes 4-7 business days to get a credit. Baloney. I made a return to two other stores on the same day and received a credit the next day. Called their customer service because the "manager" said they don't deal with this issue in the store. Customer service number is not a person. Have to leave a message and supposedly they will get back with you. Nothing yet. Such a hassle. Who has time for this. I'll never deal with this company again.

I asked her for a shoe, she went to a room with curtain and brought out the shoes and helped me with the buckles. It's been a while since I've treated myself like that. After my purchase, she invited me to choose something for free from shelves of little doo-dads. I chose a pumice stone thingy. I also got a frequent buyer card that I did not have to request and she gave me my first stamp. I'll be back as the store had a bunch of cute other things for sale.
