Ordered flowers for my father's funeral service. My mother ordered hers in the color she wanted and I ordered an arrangement from myself and brother and one from the grandkids. The colors for the kids and grandkids ones were specifically said to be blue and white flowers; they were not they matched my mother's arrangement. Also when I picked the arrangements from the kids and grandkids I wanted a certain one and the gentleman who waited on us made it bigger and it was way too big. Not happy at all read more

Brown's Florist really took great care of me when I needed to order flowers for my mother's memorial service. I found them quite by accident (located in a parking lot behind a sushi restaurant) and dropped in without an appointment. I was welcomed and assisted - with great patience I might add, as we were interrupted several times with phone calls from the funeral home, a moving company, the landlord, etc. He never flinched or seemed annoyed by the interruptions. I had limited time, but he stayed very focused and patient. I was able to look through the catalog and at the arrangements around the store and finally decided on custom arrangements. When the flowers arrived at their destinations, including Mom's memorial, they were awe-inspiring! Brown's deserves a big hug for all they did to help me and to honor my mom in her passing! Thank you Brown's Florist for creating the perfect bouquet for my daughter's wedding! We also ordered a fall floral arraignment for her table at the last minute. We didn't have a lot of money for these flowers but they have all price ranges for any budget. She was going to make a small bouquet of silk flowers but a bride should have real flowers. Brown's enabled me to provide these at a reasonable cost but the flowers were top quality. We cannot emphasize how pleased we were at the results! The shop is set back from the road so look for the signage. We will always come back to Brown's for any special occasion because I know they are here to make sure the customer gets exactly what they have in mind. Thank you and we recommend you highly! I often send flowers to friends and family in this area. Please be careful and forewarned. If you are sending flowers from afar, they do not follow specific recipes for arrangements. I paid for the upgrade on the arrangement and what was delivered was subpar. They used a cheaper basket, a cheaper bow, and literally, one rose where there should have been a cluster of roses. I do not recommend trusting this business for long distance flower gifting. I requested to resend or choose another arrangement. The florist refused. read more

I've only used Brown's once, to order flowers for delivery in the Kingston area, and they were great. They have several arrangements to choose from on their website, and you can add special instructions for delivery, as well as a note, all through the website. No need to call anyone and have to spell things out! I also emailed them ahead of time to see if it was possible to request a delivery earlier in the day and they got back to me within a couple of hours. The flowers I chose were delivered at the right time (though there's no delivery confirmation from the company, I just heard from the recipient) and I saw them later in the day and they looked great, just like the photo on the website. I ordered a spray (long distance) for my brother's funeral. Naturally I wanted something extra special since it was for our younger brother. When asked how much I wanted to spend I gladly paid well above the starting price (twice above). I asked for some roses to be added and a banner saying "beloved brother". I was so disappointed at the spray that was sent. Compared to all the other sprays , it was mediocre at best. Many of the sprays I know to have cost much less money had way more roses in them. Ours had a only a few placed here and there and a tiny ribbon (not a banner) where the letters where barely visible. The design wasn't even special. I called the next day to express my sadness. The person who I had ordered from didn't seem to care one single bit at what I though were legitimate complaints. No words of apology or remedy were offered. We have been using them for I don't know, countless times for my Mother in Law's flower needs, and somehow no matter what time I call (there's a 2 hour time difference from here to there) they seem to pull it off. It is so difficult ordering stuff online - ya never know what you will get!! Brown's can be counted on every time. In fact --- a couple of years ago, I ordered Teleflora or FTD (I forget now) but the thing was terrible and cost a fortune. I called Brown's who had done the order.
