We had Brown's come to our house to haul away some old furniture, and junk we had collecting in the basement. To our surprise, our neighbor told us that Brown's had thrown some of our stuff in the dumpster he had in his driveway for a remodeling project that he had underway. Brown's dumped my junk in his dumpster without permission, and embarrassed me greatly. So I paid Brown's to haul away my junk, and instead they placed some of it in my neighbors dumpster. They don't charge for fractions of an hour; they round up to the next hour. My current apartment has a very small hallway leading to it, so they couldn't get the box spring for my queen bed into the apartment. That wasn't their fault, of course, but then... when they had the same problem with my bookshelf, they BROKE IT INTO PIECES to get it to the apartment! It was one piece, not modular, so they destroyed it! Then they set the pieces on the floor without any comment, as though this was completely natural! When I brought up the subject of reimbursement, they initially argued with me, but quickly offered to pay me $80 for the destroyed bookshelf, which was a fair amount. read more

LaGean the owner and his guys were very polite and very careful with my things. They moved my furniture out of storage and up to my 3rd floor apartment in about an hour and a half!
