The Not good 1 star is because Hauling 4 Junk doesn't Ever seem to answer their phone! A lot of folks just want to speak with a friendly, real person, not leave a voicemail & wait for them to call back! Nowadays what we do know is that everyone has a cell phone in their pocket, especially businesses. As far as their work, we wouldn't know because, like we said, they don't seem to ever answer their phone! There's plenty of other companies doing exactly the same work though! read more

I called and was called right back. Very responsive. Price was good but... it started to creep up. I described the pile of trash we had and he gave me a price. I said, "great, lets book it." Then he started to add a "buffer" of about $50... "in case he is off"... then I told him my address... now its another $20. Needless to say, I did not continue with the booking. read more

After doing some major yard clean up dead sod, sticks, junk etc. that needed to be removed...we decided to call a landscape/junk removal company - they never showed up on their scheduled day :( I found Hauling 4 Junk and talked with Eric. He was in our neighborhood that day and came by within an hour to give us a quote. He was much less expensive than the landscape company! I'm not sure how this guy has all good reviews. Perhaps his life situation changed or something. My mother in law hired him from out of state to clear out her house that was being sold. She was going to have my husband supervise the job. My husband asked me to swing by for unrelated business and here's my experience. The guy said he'd be there at 9. I arrive at 10:30 and he arrived at 11. I immediately asked him how long this would take and he asked me how long I had. I explained that I had already wasted 2 hours and didn't have much extra. He did he'd be done at 1. He arrived without his trailer despite the fact that my husband told him how much stuff there was on the phone. So he left for another hour or so to get his trailer and "his associate" who I am not even sure exists because he never showed. He comes back, loads up his trailer and it's already 1pm. He says he'll have to take two trips to drop the trash off. Then his trailer breaks down on the first trip, which I could have predicted because it was old and crappy and looked like it was made from previous junk he picked up from other people. So we finally just moved everything that was left out of the house, locked up, and told him to finish the job when he could. I tried to pay him (way to much money btw) and he said he didn't take credit card, despite saying that he DID take it to my mother in law when she hired him. I gave him a check. I asked him to give me a discount for the terrible work he did and he refused at first. I then explained what a terrible job he had done and how he strung us along all day saying "I'm almost done" every hour and he gave me a measly $20 off my huge bill. Needless to say, I told him id be writing this experience on the internet. Afterward, I complained to my mother in law and she told me that on top of everything we experienced, this guy was supposed to show up several days prior at 1pm. He called at 2:30 saying he needed to reschedule. I can't believe she gave him another chance after that. Save your money and just walk your trash to the dump. Compared to this guy, it'd probably save time too. read more
