I do my best to make use of businesses in the Athens area as long as the company treats me fair even if the cost is a bit more. Brought my Jeep in today for an oil change and tire rotation. Waited an hour before an employee…read morecame to me to say there was a problem with the tire rotation. He pointed at two of the wheels lug studs on the same wheel next to each other had been stripped and the lugs cannot go on and the vehicle is unsafe to drive. Then he said word for word (this happens all the time). I pointed back at all the metal shaving proving they were the ones that caused it. Then got charged in full for them breaking the vehicle. No offer to cover damage, no lift home and vehicle had to be left in a lot overnight until I can find a shop that can fix the vehicle. Pending small claims lawsuit soon to follow. Please don't let this happen to you. Stripping one of the wheel lug studs was bad enough but to then strip the one right next to it? Avoid at your own peril.

I asked if they could take care of me so I didn't have to drive 20 minutes down the road to the next Valvoline that was open until 7:00 and why did their website said they were open until 6:00. However, the manager must have wanted to punch the clock more than take care of and impress a potential new customer. He had me pull in, checked all my tires and added air to the low one. I would have been happy to pay, but he didn't charge me. He just told me to keep an eye on one tire because it was very low and all the others were the same. I really appreciated it and would definitely go back here if I were a local.
