Came in for noise coming from the tire and to have a new sensor replaced. Waited for 3hours to have it fixed. Told them I had to be out to pick up my child from school and they made it clear I would b out b4 then. End up being late to the school and left with the tire still making noise (which I didn't hear right away... was probably a few days later I noticed). I went to another tire place to get the tire replaced. Told them about the noise and they pulled out the old tpms sensor and showed me that a regular valve stem was used. Came back to Bill Day (which I've used for years and have throughly trusted with all of our cars up UNTIL NOW)... I showed them the sensor. They show in the computer that they did a "flat repair"... which is NOT what I asked for and didn't need a flat repaired. So if they did said repair?... why didn't they find the noise that I heard in the tire and pull that loose sensor out that was floating and then to put a regular valve stem in....? I got NO apology and not even compensation for my time or paying for something that I didn't ask for. I end up paying for the sensor I originally asked for the 1st time... I asked to at least get the amount off from what I was charged for the 3 HOUR wait for the "flat repair" that wasn't done... they denied to give me a minimum of that. .... IF you go here.... DOUBLE Check their work unless you want to have to pay to get it fixed AGAIN!!!!! Very disappointed and also quite pissed about the level of care and customer service has went down from the place our whole family trusted to take care of our vehicles. I have been a customer for 10+ years. I've had 3 vehicles serviced multiple times, and I recommend Bill Day to family and friends all the time. I have always had hine, knowledgeable and quality service. If I had to drop off my vehicle for service, it would be ready at said pick up time. I still remember the day when my father introduced me to some of the guys at Bill Day tire. It was important to him that I meet the guys! (I thought it was cute honestly) But he's big on building relationships with businesses, and wanted to make sure I did the same. I see the benefit of that now, because every time I go to Bill Day, it feels like a family. They remember your name. If they don't know you, they know your brother or father. I live in Caddo Mills, northeast of Dallas near Greenville. I was in Tyler to get a covid shot. My wife and autistic son were at Abuelos and I went to CVS to get my shot. On the way, my serpentine belt broke and I barely made it in the CVS parking lot. I went to Bill Day Tire Shop hoping they would help me. Since it was nearly quitting time and they had to get to their families they would not help me. It was not important that we were from out of town and my own family was way across town. I had to call a mobile mechanic to come fix my car. The mobile mechanic was an hour from Tyler and had me back on the road in less than an hour from when he arrived. read more

Made me feel dumb and my family and I will never go there again. Told the front desk clerk that I ordered brand new tires from Bill Day, but Hughes automotive installed them. They said, "Well why didn't you go to Hughes automotive?" Extremely rude. Like, do you even want my business? I went to Bill Day in case they had some free warrantee on tires or something. Went in for tire rotation on tires with 22,000 miles the man told me the wear bar was showing on 3 of the tires and "I needed new tires" Sold me tires I didn't need.. and they only had firestone tires for my car , not the brand I would have chosen .. can't believe I bought all new tires.. 600.00 worth .. hasty decision on my part.. never again Janet S. We first went here a couple of years ago when a tire was losing air. Our tires were newer and from a competitor, but they still replaced the faulty valve stem for free. We have since always bought my tires from Bill Day as they treat us like gold and have always fixed minor issues for free. Today our car was at the dealer for a recall and they found a nail in the tire that they stated could not be fixed and tried to convince us to buy a new set from them. Instead, we stopped by Bill Day and they told us that it was not necessary to replace the tire, plugged it for free and had us back on the road quickly. They are always honest and the service is always so fantastic that they have earned customers for life! read more

Total ripoff! Ron at the front desk here called me after I brought my car in for 2 new tires saying I needed 600$ extra done to my truck. I told him to just put on the tires. I then took my car to 2 other tire and alignment repair shops and told them the list of things he said was wrong with the truck. They looked at both places and none of what he said was even remotely necessary for my truck. Will never be back. I had gone to bill day for 14 years but not anymore. read more

Y'all I am so incredibly thankful for this business! I had a family emergancy yesterday and on the way ran over a screw that deflated my tire. I drove on it for 5miles (at least) before I was able to pull over and get the spare on it. I was really worried that my old tire was fucked and I'd have to buy a new one. I went here because I've heard such great things (customer care, willingness to try to fix the old before just offering the new, good turn around time, etc). And boy did not they disappoint. It was busy but I got in and out in an hour or less. They were able to fix my flat so I didn't have to buy a new tire. Richard (some people might know him as Charles) was so kind and understanding. They fixed it all for free I'm a teacher and have a low "oopsy" budget, so I am so thankful for many different reasons here. Great convos with the workers and great experience. I had a great experience today at Bill Day Tire Center. I had gone first to a chain service center here in Tyler because of a nail in my tire and they told me they couldn't fix it and I needed a new tire. After waiting over an hour I finally walked out and went to Bill Day. When I walked into Bill Day they immediately helped me and within 20 minutes they pulled the nail out of my tire and fixed it. They did this for me at no charge. I was so grateful. They will always have me as a customer. read more

Went to get tires mounted on my truck. They don't let you in the garage to see the work they're doing. Here's why: They didn't know to put the center cap on before the tire. Get home and the rear center cap is bent and on incorrectly. They're in too big of a hurry to do the job correctly. Now I'm out more time to have the tires remounted correctly. Will never recommend this place to anyone, especially since it's a tire center can't put tires on a truck correctly. I would love to give less than one star. read more

Horrible! I came in to fix a flat and they were nice, UNTIL they found out I got new tires a year ago from someone else. The guy humiliated me and SCOLDED me in front of everyone!!!! I DIDN'T ASK YOU TO FIX MY FLAT FOR FREE! PLUS my husband had just bought 4 brand new tires from them!!!! Which I told him. They charged me, of course, but you didn't have to treat me like that. I had a great experience here. David helped me assess the damage to my flat and determined it was not fixable. They didn't have my tire size there so he called around and told me that he could get it and it would be finished by lunch time. The best thing about Bill Day Tire is that they will tell you when you're trying to buy something you don't need. More than once I've been told by another business that I needed something that would have resulted in several hundred dollars of sales for Bill Day, and they told me I didn't need it.
