No building permit was pulled for the first 4 weeks of the roofing project. I had to insist a permit be pulled. Labor and Industries called me to alert me this company does not have insurance currently to protect their employees. The quality of work just wasn't there. My kitchen vent was removed, thrown away and shingled over, blocking my exhaust fan. I saved for years for this project and will need to spend thousands more to get the result I expected. I thought a lot about posting this- unfortunately I feel it necessary to warn consumers about this company.

I am fair but can be very demanding and am not easy to please - so this is not just ignorant gushing. Ketron are the very best kind of contractors. Family business operated by people passionate about their trade and chasing perfection every day. Service and quality of product were class A. I received a total of 9 quotes for my full roof replacement (40 squares of composite) and Ketron were not the cheapest or going to have the fastest installation. They were just below average on cost and their install was actually going to be one of the longest once it was started. But they had a spot in their schedule to do the work that worked with my busy schedule (I never let contractors work when I'm not around) and their knowledge on the products and process seemed superb and their sales style of no BS, no push, just information made me believe they were going to provide the most value for what I paid. I was correct. Not only did they put a beautiful new roof on my house, they spent several extra days ensuring that every trim, fascia, and waterproofing detail was done perfectly so that I never have water in my house again. There's no way anyone promising 2 or 3 day roof replacements is going to be this thorough. Communication through out the process was spot on and no issues with paperwork or payment terms. They kept the site very clean after every work day. A comprehensive report at the completion of construction was handed over with great detail on any issues they encountered, how they were resolved, and photos showing exactly what I paid for being installed correctly. Genuinely enjoyed talking with both the owners and the entire process was as good as I have ever had with a contractor. Couldn't recommend strongly enough to anyone looking for any sort of roofing help - give Mitch and Clay a call. Mark later added replacement of my dormer free of charge not because I asked, but because he wanted everything from the roof level up to be brand new and part of the job. Mark personally delivered the soffit and fascia materials himself days early so I had the opportunity to paint them before installation. I knew that once installed, the soffit and fascia boards would have nail holes and seams sealed with paintable caulk that I would have to touch up, but Mark had his professional crew take care of that touch-up. The crew was hard-working and did a wonderful job. They were friendly, accommodating, and fast. There were some challenges in removing the old and degraded fascia and soffit, which in turn required an extra half day of work for the crew...at no extra charge. The original quote included up to five sheets of replacement 4'X8' roof deck sheeting, but once they removed four- yes, four - layers of shingles, it was clear that 13 more sheets were in need of replacement. Mark made a point to show me the old sheets and I noted myself that they were severaly delaminated and clearly in need of replacement. The cost per extra sheet was very reasonable. The crew did a complete cleanup after the job was complete and frankly, my yard and the area around my house was cleaner than it was before the job started. I can't say enough about Mark and his crew. Mark was attentitve to all needs and concerns from the moment he stepped on my property to give a bid. I have not seen one without flashing expect mine. I waited to long to take them to small claims court, now i am looking at having it done before it becomes a leaking roof. The company owner we will call him Jack Monkey, I called and explained my concern Jack Monkey said they put down ice barrier and roof tar around the chimney and then he said is it leaking I said no but it can be a problem without flashing, he basically just laughed. Well Jack Monkey every roof contactor said it is a standard to put down the ice barrier and then chimney flashing, all the contractor's said no flashing will cause major issues down the road. Most of these reviews I would say are paid reviews. Stay away from this company.

Marty and his crew did an incredible job on my new roof. My house is 70 years old and had 3 layers…read moreof shingles and no sheathing. It also had some structural issues that needed to be dealt with. I got multiple bids. 2 were much higher. Both said I needed fascia repairs which would require removing the gutters. The new gutters would add about $3000+ to each bid. My existing gutters are sound. They both implied the fascia was rotted and would not pass inspection. Marty from Raptor Roofing took a look and showed me it was not rotted and just needed a coat of paint. Well guess what, it passed inspection even without a coat of paint. I will paint it later. The owner of another roofing company said he could not repair the structural issues and said I would have to find someone to deal with it before he could begin. I thought to myself, isn't this why am hiring a roofer? Anyway, Marty and his crew did a stellar job. The roof looks great and was done right including repairing the roof structure from inside the attic, installing ridge vents, new pipe collars, a new bathroom vent, chimney flashing and excellent cleanup. And they did it in 3 days! I would highly recommend Marty and Raptor Roofing.
